This house was perfect!! Enjoyed our stay very much. The bed was super comfy and the house was very clean. Wish it would have been summer so we could enjoy the porches! Would definitely stay here again!
We will never have a bad thing to say about this property or owners. We've loved this ppace ever since it became available. It makes it so much easier, better, and funner for this little hometown girl to come home to visit but have our own little place to stay. I hope they keep this going, and put another one in town 😉
We went to see the Gysum Hills and this was close and convenient. There is a local bar down the street for a bite to eat, drink or game of pool. It is remote so if you need ice for your cooler pick it up before you go if it's evening. The closest we found was 20+ minutes away or you can wait for the freezer to make ice. We had a great stay.
A cute mostly clean country home. Was comfortable as well. Beds very comfy. Toilet had some black ring mold in it and bathroom sink wasn't wholly clean, had a bunch of random grains on it. Porch was lovely.
We love this little house, and its hosts Doug and Jennifer. It is always clean and tidy, and the bed is beyond comfy. We're more than greatful for them to have this house in my tiny hometown of Sun so we can have more family time.
This is my second time staying at this house!
Doug (host) is an amazing host, making sure we have everything we need before we get there.
We plan on coming and staying as often as he will let us! The love that he and his wife have put into restoring this house shows!
I hope you get to experience it too!

This was the second time we've stayed here, and just like the first time it was just right. We so wish Doug and Jennifer would put together another vrbo house in the tiny little town of Sun. This will always be our choice of stay when coming home to visit family.
Perfect place to call home away from home. Came to town to to help my uncle. Mr and Mrs. Rowland are wonderful hosts. Great communication, accommodations, and amenities. We’ll definitely be back. Scott & Gina
House was a welcome resting place after a 750 mile drive from Wyoming. King bed incredibly comfortable! Snacks laid out and appreciated! Peaceful setting!
If you going in this part of Kansas . This is the place to stay. Beautifully decorated home and immaculately clean. The porch over looking the countryside is so peaceful. Our hosts were so great. Genourous and responsive. We will be back. I highly recommend this property.
This was the perfect place for my husband and I to stay while visiting family. Sun City isn't a big town at all, so for an out of towner wanting to escape to the middle of nowhere then the big city of Sun is the place to go. The owners have redone the house a lot, and put a lot of attention to detail. I hope they snag another house or two there to add to the vrbo market.
