About this property

Family Treehouse on The Santa Fe River

Our front yard is the Santa Fe River. Come enjoy a nature retreat in this cypress log home! Nestled between two state parks, but less than five minutes to downtown. Whether you are looking for rest and relaxation or recreation, our home offers both. Take in the scenery and catch your dinner from the riverbank. Recline in the sunshine on our newly renovated dock (12’ x 12’). Keep an eye out for otters! It is a two hour float downriver to Poe Springs, Rum Island, and Blue Springs.
The space
The river is your playground! This cypress log home provides the ideal setting for a family eco-retreat. Get ready to experience parts of nature only seen here on the river. We have two outdoor grills; one is located on the top deck of the house providing the perfect atmosphere for barbecue with a river backdrop, additionally a charcoal grill is installed just feet from the riverbank and dock. Preparing dinner indoors is also a great option, we provide a fully equipped kitchen set up to host dinner for up to 8 guests. We provide kayaks, a canoe and paddle-boards, lifejackets and fishing poles.
Guest access
Dock is boat accessible from the High Springs boat ramp. You are likely to see wildlife like deer and a variety of birds on your boating adventures. We ask that your dog be leashed when walking in the yard. We have a fenced-in dog “run” this allows your pup access between the upstairs porch and an area beneath the porch to use the bathroom. Please pick up after your furry friend :)
