Excellent family ski trip
Property is spacious with room for everyone. We had 9 adults and 6 grandsons 7 and under. The 2 year olds enjoyed the house most days while the others were on skis and boards. Also never hurts to have incredible powder with one super snow day. Everything in the house worked including the large outdoor hot tub.

Dreamy winter wonderland!
We stayed here with a large family including an infant and a senior. Had a terrific stay. The views are incredible. The feeling is private and gorgeous. The house sits high on the ski mountain with real ski in ski out access. The hot tub is really enjoyable surrounded by forest and views. High ceilings and cozy fire places inside. Large heated garage. Managers were attentive and helpful in every way. Highly recommended!

Wonderful Spring Break Experience
We were excited about our spring break ski trip with two other families; a bit apprehensive though wondering whether the photos and description of the home woud live up to our expectations. This home exceeded all expectations. We had 6 adults and 11 kids from 8 to 18. Everyone was comfortable and happy. A beautiful and very well appointed and maintained home. The access to the Ritz was nice but the Dial-a-Ride access to and from the home was a huge plus. We would absolutely recommend this home to a friend or relative - as long as they don't try to take our spot next year!

Awesome Rental in great location
This is a terrific rental. We rented it for a large family reunion in July and filled it with family. There are lots of places to sleep and escape the mayhem. We have rented homes around the world and this was the best equipped home, by far. Everything was there from first aid kit to baking supplies. The kitchen is well equipped and everything is labeled. Two dishwashers. Laundry. All the amenities, The hot tub was great and the location was fantastic. We used the Ritz for food and pool a few times without any problem. The free local transportation was a huge plus as well. We hiked every day. I cannot think of one thing I would change in the house. Even the stereo system was top of the line (ok, it needs an easy iPod/iPhone hook up). We used the XM radio without any problems (well written instructions). Jane is responsive and easy going. We will rent again.

Beyond 5 star
Our family has stayed at this property many times. My wife and I have 5 adult children and 4 grandchildren. The property is perfect for our family. We have stayed in dozens of VBRO properties, and the host and the property manager of this property are beyond expectations. We cannot wait until our next visit.

Wonderful Experience
We had an amazing spring break trip with 2 families but the house has plenty of space for more. The communications up front were fantastic and support throughout our stay was superb. We absolutely loved the location with easy ski-in/ski-out and the house was very well stocked with everything we needed. Plenty of room to spread out as the kids hung out in the nook off the upstairs bunkroom and had plenty of entertainment downstairs with ping-pong, foosball, big tv and of course the hot tub out back. I would highly recommend this property!!!

great house/great location
For a true ski-in/ski-out experience, this is the best available house we have seen. Get the most out of each ski-day by not having to worry about the diff schedules and ski preferences. Building a real fire after a long ski day was also a very nice bonus

Great Spring Break
This house was great for 3 families traveling together. Having been in Beaver Creek Village for over 6 years, we were looking for a change and a place for parents and kids to all be together -- this house with its incredible views, comfortable bedrooms, ski-in/ski-out access, hot tub, movie/game room and UNBELIEVABLE caretakers made it the best spring break yet. We hope to come back again and again.

The best trip in recent memory!!
We stayed at this house for my 40th birthday with three other families. It was PERFECT for our group. The kids had lots to do and space to sleep and play (ping-pong tournament)! The kitchen was well-equipped for big meals. The hot tub provided views to die for and the kids had energy to sled after ski school! The ski-in/ski-out was a true luxury. The house managers were wonderful to work with. I’ll remember this trip for years to come. LOVE this house!!

Special mountain property, perfectly appointed in a stunning setting
We rented the house for 10 days for a milestone birthday celebration in April 2018 involving 5 families and it was simply perfect. The house is extremely well appointed and the house caretakers could not have been more friendly and accommodating. We had many memorable meals (and bottles of wine) in the “great room” of the house which opens out of a large open plan kitchen and offers a huge fireplace, high ceilings and breathtaking views of the mountain. This is ski in/ski out luxury complete with hot tub which was well used apres-ski. The Beaver Creek shuttle system works extremely efficiently and we generally would wait a maximum of 10 minutes for pick-ups. We had breakfast prepared every morning for our large group which worked very well. We also enjoyed flexibility of self catering, going out for dinner or having chefs prepare dinner in the evenings. Some of our guests claimed it was not only the best skiing holiday that they had experienced - but the best holiday! Much of that high praise can be attributed to the warmth, charm and grandeur of this very special property.

Special Location
Magnificent home in a special location. We spent 5 days there over New Years. This house is perfect for a family reunion (as ours was) or a group of friends taking a ski vacation. The house has all the amenities that one could want, from the ping pong table to the hot tub. The ski in/ski out aspect was perfect for us. The instructor met our grandchildren right at the house each morning. very helpful caretaker/concierge and the house was in perfect condition when we arrived. For me sitting in front of the beautiful stone fireplace with a glass of wine looking out at the view as dusk approached was heaven. Several good local restaurants.

Very disappointing - only value for this price point was ski access
Positives: very efficient response and service from the caretakers. Ample space, good ski access in a gorgeous location btw Bachelor Gulch and Beaver Creek. Cons: everything else. The house feels distinctly like a rental property: minimal/spartan furnishings; no art/comfy touches; shabby/torn furniture, bedding, carpet; one of two main floor fireplaces didn't work at all. I have never reviewed anything online before but feel compelled to do so now. I took photos of bedding, pillows, furniture in stained/shabby shape. I also have photos of the master bedroom bathroom which had only 1 empty drawer for our use - the others were messily filled with others' toiletries, including several bottles of prescription medications (!). The two game closets were disorganized - there wasn't one single game intact. Again, I have photos - the main game closet in basement was utter clutter and junk. We have stayed in 7 other properties in Beaver Creek with similar price points and have been nothing but pleasantly surprised. We would discourage anyone from staying in this one at this price point. Further, we'd reconsider any VRBO property after wasting our money and, more important, not having the experience we expected with friends and family. We could only apologize about the accommodations to friends who'd traveled from across the country to join us. This house is equivalent to a good motel level of quality yet is priced and marketed as a luxury property. I could go on. Suffice to say, find another property at this price point.

World-class, comfortable!
The location is spectacular - literally top of the mountain! Breath taking views in three directions. Walk out the back yard and jump on a ski run. The architecture of the house, layout, design, and build quality, are all exceptional. The flow is extremely comfortable and wonderful for a large group, but at the same time intimate and cozy if you want to curl up and read a book in quiet. The kitchen in this house put a smile on my wife's face (what do I do she asked? ski? or stay and cook?). The bunk rooms were a smash with the kids, the mud rooms are perfect for your gear, the basement is great and hosted some fierce ping-pong games, and the large pantry allows to load up with enough food for the stay (recommended since the house is on the top of the mountain and why drive after skiing from before the lifts open!) Beaver Creek is a wonderful, family-friendly, classy resort, and Bachelor Gulch is just an extension of the best BC has to offer and this house epotomizes all the wonderful attributes in a comfortable fashion. To that point, everyone commented just how comfortable the house was...truly a restful vacation. We stayed a week and had two other families visit at different times, but the house could have easily held all three families at once (6 adults and 10 kids all under 8). Valet shuttle service direct to the front door to/from the village was also a convenient plus. The pictures do not do this house justice. I was expecting the house to be nice, but my expectations were far exceeded. Truly a beautiful and functional property -- highly recommend!

Superb multi-family house!
We are an extended family (grandparents plus 3 families with 8 kids total and 8 adults) and we stayed for a week. This house had plenty of room for all. Everything was clean and well maintained. We loved that the owner did not lock away all personal items; for instance, the pantry had all kinds of spices and cooking basics available, and the basement had lots of snowshoes. We skied and snowshoed, hot-tubbed and relaxed. The free shuttle always came within about 10-15 minutes of a phone call and could not have been an easier way to get down the mountain to either bachelors gulch or beaver creek village. Beautiful views too!!

Fantastic Home
We recently returned from a 5 night stay at this property. We had 6 adults and 3 small children. It was a great week and every moment in the home was enjoyable. There are plenty of bedrooms and the home is set up to sleep even more with pullout couches. The bunk rooms were a hit with the kids. I would guess you could sleep at least 20+ if you wanted to. The home sits at the top of Bachelor Gulch. At first we thought that may be a hindrance as there is nothing nearby. Once we realized you just pick up the phone and call the complimentary shuttle that concern faded. The home is ski-in / ski-out and we really appreciated it. The hot tub is right next to the ski-in area and was a hit. I would highly recommend this home for its size, fine amenities and feel, and ski-to location. It makes for a stress free vacation that can’t be beat.

Charlotte NC, Paris France, Cincinnati OH- Families Holiday trip
This house exceeded all expectations. The views are just magnificent! It is beautiful, well equipped for cooking anything, beds very comfortable. A true ski in and out. Finding the ski in is hard at first, but once you locate the trail its EASY to ski right to the patio door! We had four families and were very comfortable (20 people). All ski levels stayed at the house and had no problems with the ski in and out. Shuttle service would come right to the door for you and take you anywhere on the route. The concierge was helpful with all requests, even did our grocery shopping for us before arrival! The hot tub at the house was used by our group every day. Game room is fun and well stocked. Again, this house is beautiful. Will return in the future. Charlotte, NC Family 12/26/12- 1/1/13

Unforgettable escape and Destination Wedding
What a perfect place! My husband and I rented this breaktaking home for a destination wedding and getaway for our family. We enjoyed the refreshing mountain air and absorbed the breathtaking landscape this luxurious property. It was nestled in an exclusive enclave on Beaver Creek Mountain and was a postcard photo for all our pictures. The layout of the home was intimate, well designed and made us feel comfortable like we were right at home. The owners were warm and welcoming and we loved they allowed us to bring our yorkiepoo Guido wtih us! We arranged a small intimate on the patio in the back that was simply amazing! There were so many activities for our family to participate in that was so close. From whitewater rafting and fly fishing to hiking, mountain-biking, snowshoeing, and golfing. To make things easier, there was so much already provided at the home that made it convenient for everyone. We will definitely be back to celebrate our anniversary if they will have us back! It's a spectacular and hope more can enjoy!

Perfect for big group
I organized a trip for four families with 10 kids and found this on VRBO. It looks great online - it's even better in person. It is right on the mountain. You walk out the back door, pass the year-round hot tub in the snow, and you are literally on the slopes. You can call for a van and they're at your door, free, within ten minutes. We slept 18 people in comfortable beds, modern kitchen, hired some great local cooks for a few nights. There's a playroom, two fridges, a ski room with benches...really, it was exactly what we hoped for. Owners were very helpful over email, and they had a local helper who let us in etc. It's the real thing, straight A's from our group.

Host profile image
We are a family of 6 from Boulder, Colorado. Our 4 kids grew up learning to ski here. Now that they are getting older, we rent the house out when we're not using it ourselves.

Why they chose this property

We built the house as a vacation home for ourselves, a place where we could host our extended family and friends.

What makes this property unique

This is one of the only homes on the mountain with ski-in, ski-out access to Beaver Creek, Bachelor Gulch and Arrowhead.
