Lovely home, great location
Our family (4 humans and 2 dogs) thoroughly enjoyed our stay here: the home is clean and comfortable, the location is great for easily getting quickly around, and the neighborhood is quiet.
We stayed here for four nights to visit national parks and national monuments in the area, as well as sites around Tucson and found the location was great for quickly getting on and off interstates for travel and around town for dinning/shopping.
The beds are comfortable and the common areas are spacious, with a living room great for relaxing and watching a movie on Netflix after a long day of hiking.
All the amenities we needed were present: a toaster, coffee maker, shampoo/conditioner, laundry detergent, etc, and the host, Monica, was responsive, helpful, and friendly when we had questions (she lives in a separate home on the property/behind the house, but keeps to herself and we only encountered her a couple of times in passing.)
I should have prefaced this by saying that when we turned into the neighborhood and all the homes had bars over all the windows and fences completely enclosing them, as people who live in an area where we can leave our doors unlocked and not have issues, we thought, “what have we gotten ourselves in to here?!!?” but as we drove around Tucson, we saw that is pretty standard for the whole city. We had no issues with safety or security, the neighbors we all friendly in passing, and we all commented on how quiet the neighborhood is.
You can tell Monica puts a lot of pride into taking care of her home/property—the yard is well cared for/groomed.
We had no issues with these accommodations.
