This luxury getaway offers discounts for long-term or winter-season rentals (snowbirds). It is privately owned and managed by the host/s and doing business as (DBA) Palmera+.
FAQ:
BOOKING REQUIREMENTS: Per City Ordinance
1. Palmera+ guesthouse/casita's maximum occupancy is 2 guests excluding infants, no additional guests allowed;
2. Responsible person must be at least 25 years old on check-in date; and
3.Host live on-site and will check your ID to confirm identity and compliance of the above requirements upon arrival.
FEES:
4. DO YOU CHARGE A CLEANING FEE? -We DO NOT charge cleaning fee. That is about $150.00 savings!!!!
5. IS THE POOL HEATED? - It can be heated for a fee. Between $50 - $100 a day depending on the temperature and natural gas prices. Other option, is to go to the Palm Desert Aquatic Center which is a mile away and they charge a nominal fee.
6. DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNT FOR LONG-TERM STAY? YES. We offer 20% discount for month or longer stay.

7. CAN I BRING MY PET? - Sorry pets are NOT allowed.
PRIVACY:
8. DO THE HOSTS LIVE ONSITE? -Yes. Hosts live on-site per City Ordinance.
9. IS IT A SHARED POOL? -The pool is located in the common area. However, Palmera+ aims to provide exclusive and relaxing experience to our valued guests therefore, hosts will not use the facilities when guests are using the pool area.
10. WILL THE HOST OR OTHER GUESTS BE USING THE POOL DURING OUR STAY? NO. The pool is exclusively yours during your stay.
11. CAN THE BACKYARD/POOL BE ENJOYED NUDE? No. Optional clothing is not allowed.
12. IS THE GUEST HOUSE PRIVATE? -Yes. You get your own private entrance and private/fenced-in patio/section of the backyard. You may never see us after checking in! (Unless you need our service) It's almost like your own little luxury hotel!
13. DOES THE PROPERTY HAVE A CAMERA?-YES. Cameras are located in the front of the main house only overlooking the parking areas for safety.
SWIMMING POOL:
14. DO WE HAVE DIRECT POOL ACCESS? - YES. Newly installed 36x14ft saltwater swimming/lap pool is just a few steps away from the back patio.
OCCUPANCY/PARKING:
15. WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY? Per City Ordinance, maximum 2 adults, and 2 infants .
16. DO YOU HAVE RESERVED PARKING FOR YOUR GUESTS? We provide 1 car driveway parking maximum. No street parking allowed per City Ordinance.
17. DO YOU HAVE MINIMUM STAY REQUIREMENT? YES. 30 days.

18. HOW CAN I ACCESS THE PROPERTY?
Upon arrival, PLEASE:
- Park your car in the drive way. DO NOT park on the street. City prohibits short-term renters from parking on the street.
- Ring the doorbell or send us a message.
- Host will require ID to confirm identity, age (must be at least 25 years old on check-in date), number of guest/s (2 maximum guests, and 2 infants).
- Host will then provide keys and City required documents.

INTERIOR
The newly renovated furnished kitchen/living room include a fully equipped kitchen with brand new built-in microwave, gas stove and refrigerator. The kitchen, living and dining room all flow together in an open plan configuration that gives the home a spacious, light feel and allows for easy entertaining. The ceiling fans, electric fireplace, 65-inch flat screen TV with cable service and free WiFi will enhance your vacation experience.
The newly renovated en-suite bedroom features a queen bed and ample closet space. Attached is the newly renovated spa-like inspired en-suite bathroom that has a large walk-in, rain shower for easy access.
OUTDOOR
BBQ grill is located on covered back patio/courtyard with newly installed gazebo and new comfortable sitting area.
Newly installed 36x14ft saltwater swimming/lap pool just a few steps away from the back patio. There are built-in lounging areas on each end of the pool for tanning or just dipping your feet in the water. Although owners live-on-site, the pool will always be available for you to enjoy during your stay!
Full size washer & dryer are conveniently located at the side of the casita.

HOUSE RULES:
1. SMOKING/DRUGS/PARTIES
-NO indoor smoking inside the casita at any time. This includes vaping, tobacco and marijuana.
-NO illegal drugs use or illegal activities at the property during your stay.
-NO events, parties, or large gatherings
2.DAMAGE
-If you break or damage something, please let us know so we can arrange for its replacement or repair.
3.PETS
-Strictly NO pets allowed
4.POOL
-The swimming/lap pool is 4 ft to 8 ft deep. Children MUST be accompanied by an adult in the pool area at all times.
-Swimming pool does not have a lifeguard, swim at your own risk.
This property may NOT be suitable for young children. The casita and outdoor patio are fenced in but there is no fence around the pool.
5. CITY ORDINANCE
-Guests must comply the Palm Desert Short-Term Rental Ordinance during their entire stay.
-The City strictly prohibits the use of radios, musical instruments, sound systems and other sound-emitting devices outside a home or rental property between 10pm and 10am. Please follow this city ordinance during your entire stay. Palm Desert City will impose a fine for each and every infraction of this ordinance. Please refer to Palm Desert City Ordinance No. 1360 and Good Neighbor Brochure for details.
-The homeowner lives on-site, in a completely separate unit, and will be present during your stay per city ordinance.
-Be respectful to neighbors and others (for pool and grounds maintenance) you may encounter near the property.
-Must be at least 25 years old to book this property.
-Photo ID may be required upon check-in
