The property was all that we had hoped for. The house, the location, the cleanliness, the hosts were all excellent. We have rented many properties over the years, This was our best experience!
This property was even better than the pictures. We had a wonderful time. It is private and relaxing. Not too far from town. The host was amazing and responded promptly to any needs. Also had a book with information about the local area. We really enjoyed staying here and would definitely recommend.
Pam and Chris were excellent -- super helpful and communicative. The place was spotless and exceeded expectations. We had an amazing trip and it was the perfect place to stay for any family. Lake Michigamme is gorgeous!
This was a beautiful large cabin tucked in a beautiful, deep, wooded area that I love. Very much appreciate all the details. This host obviously puts much thought, and care into this lovely Cabin. Thank you so much! Highly recommend!
It was a very successful week at Lake Michigamme. The house was very clean and well furnished. The bathrooms were newly made and the kitchen was well equipped. We lacked nothing. The hosts were very warm and helpful, thank you very much!
Felt just like being at home here at the lake house. Everything from the decor to the tidy house to the first aid kit were on point! Jumping off the dock into the lake was the highlight of the trip for our kids. Pam and Chris are kind and welcoming - it was refreshing to meet these lovely hosts.
We had a great time at the house. The house was incredibly clean, had everything we needed including a great wood fired sauna. There are a considerable amount of stairs from the house to the dock and lakeshore, keep that in mind if you don’t do well with stairs and still wish to spend time on the water.
So Clean!.. tastefully decorated. Comfy beds with luxurious comfy bedding. The view of the lake out of the windows is lovely.
The bathrooms are completely remodeled. The owners carefully kept some family heirlooms and incorporated them into a gorgeous updated cottage in the woods. Would definetely book this again. Amenities are many!.. didnt use the sauna this time, but would like to of tried it!
Roose’s Roost was the perfect cabin for our Fall trip. I wanted to see fall foliage and we didn’t even need to leave the camp for that. The yard was great size for the dogs to run around. We didn’t make it to Chris’ suggested hike to the sandy beach because of rain but maybe next year. The cabin was great, exactly what we needed. Thank you to Chris and Pam! Maybe we’ll see you next year!
If you are looking for a quiet, woodsy, lakeside cottage then this is the place for you! The home is well maintained, very clean and the property owners have thought of everything! There was nothing we could think of that wasn’t provided to us. They are also very nice people and were communicative throughout the booking process & our stay. The home is cozy and welcoming. There is a beautiful view from the back deck and a cozy screened in porch. We didn’t use the Sauna while there, but Chris had cut wood for us and had it all ready in case we wanted to. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you!
Amazing cabin getaway on beautiful Lake Michigamee! Highly recommended!!! Top notch owners! A+++
We couldn't be happier with our stay and just so blessed we found this gem of a property to enjoy some U.P. lake life and adventure! Pam and Chris are top notch owners who went above and beyond for us in every way! They had everything accommodated for us we could think of and couldn't have had better communication and just such awesome nice people! We look forward to booking again in the future! Lake Michigamee is so beautiful and I grew up fishing on there and it was such a pleasure to get back there and bring the new boat and catch some gorgeous fish again there! Was able to dock the boat right on their dock and they even gifted us some amazing local coffee that the girls just loved! Thank you for having us and letting us make a lifetime of memories together! ❤️❤️❤️
