About this property

Fishing Lodge on Alaska Salmon Stream

Cohoe Lodge LLC is family owned since 1995. Kevin and Marylee Koch are your hosts. While Cohoe Lodge LLC is a business, Cohoe Lodge is more like a personal adventure that our family loves to share with our guests and friends. We will help you plan an unforgettable one-of-a-kind vacation.

The Lodge is situated at the end of a dead-end road on a scenic wooded bluff overlooking Crooked Creek. You can enjoy excellent bank fishing that is seasonally available on Crooked Creek which is on the premises. There is also excellent bank fishing on public land on the Kasilof River which is a short walk from the Lodge (one to two blocks). There is also great success with non-guided fly fishing or spin fishing elsewhere throughout the Kenai Peninsula. Cohoe Lodge is your base camp for Saltwater excursions available in nearby Cook Inlet, Seward, and Homer for Halibut, LIng Cod and Red Snapper. Information and fishing suggestions are available at the Lodge.

Within walking distance is the Kasilof River where you can pull in King Salmon, Silver Salmon, Red Sockeye Salmon, Dolly Varden, and Steelhead Trout. World Class Rainbow Trout are in plentiful supply within a short driving distance. Float and motorboat trips can be arranged on the Kasilof and Kenai Rivers for Silvers and Kings.

Cohoe Lodge has housekeeping apartments, each with its own private entrance, kitchen and eating area, sleeping area and bathroom with tub and shower. Each unit can comfortably accommodate four to six people and are fully furnished with cooking and eating utensils, linens and bedding, stove and refrigerator, freezers, and individually controlled heating. Each has an outside deck for relaxing and enjoying the beauty of the area. There is also an outdoor hot tub on a deck overlooking Crooked Creek meandering through the valley below. Views of the Kasilof River Valley and the Kenai Mountains are also present for your enjoyment.

The common area includes:
Hot tub and deck
Fish cleaning station
Washer/dryer room
Freezers
Bon fire area

Our rate of $250 per night is for the first two people. Each additional person is $25 per person per night.
Check-in time is 3:00 p.m.
Check - out time is 11:00 a.m.
Requests for early check-in or late check-out should be made in advance. We will do our best to accommodate you.

We try to accommodate our refund policy to each individual situation. If you are in an unfortunate situation that requires you to cancel your reservation, we will try to work with you as much as possible to move your dates somewhere within the next 12 months. If that is not possible, it is possible that your refund will be forfeited. The following is an explanation of why that may happen. After we book reservations, we turn away numerous other visitors because we are fully booked. These people then go elsewhere for their accommodations. If you cancel your reservation, we have lost other business. Please understand that our Lodge depends on this revenue for our livelihood.

When you stay at the Cohoe Lodge, you can trust that we will take care of you. Arrive as a guest and leave as a friend and/or part of our family.

We welcome all questions, and we will assist in your needs whether it is "what clothing should we bring" or "what fishing tackle is the best" or "where is the best place to view bears, birds, or other wildlife"? We are here for you!

A Perfect Fishing Lodge in Alaska

We were on the hunt for a fishing lodge that would be suitable for a couple of guys focused on fishing. We wanted something clean, well-located, and comfortable. What we found was so much more. The property is beautiful and located in a fantastic spot. Throughout the week, we were visited by moose multiple times, with one encounter just a few feet from our front door. This was truly a unique and unforgettable experience. The hosts, Mary Lee and Kevin, were exceptional. They were always ready to assist us and provided us with excellent fishing locations. Getting to know them was a highlight of our trip. Several evenings, they had a fire going outside in the fire pit, and it was a blast to end our days sitting around the fire, sharing fishing stories. I also need to mention their two dogs that we had fun with. They have a black lab and a rottweiler that were so friendly and loved to play. This place not only met but exceeded all our expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable fishing getaway.

Relaxing place to return home to.

This was a great base camp to come back to after a long day of fishing or running the roads sightseeing. Plenty of comfortable chairs and sofa's to kick back and rest on. Had all the kitchen supplies you'd need and then some. My 90-year-old disabled Father-in-law was with me and the hosts Marylee and Kevin went out of their way to make sure he had a great trip. I definitely would go back again.
