Lotus Spa, your home away from home

The Lotus is your zen home away from home. Enjoy peace and tranquility on your private back deck, the amazing salt water hot tub & outdoor 3 season shower (exclusively used by you during your stay) the super deep freestanding bathtub (showering is tricky for people taller then 5'5 :) with bluetooth speaker. We also just added a Finnish outdoor private Sauna with a modern HUUM heater for your enjoyment (extra charge $88 per day) The comfortable king size bed with European bedding will let you get some much needed rest. Enjoy walks on our 12 ac property or any of the lakes near by for any kind of year round outdoor experience. We have lots of peace and tranquility. We do have a dog and 3 cats (please do not let them in the Lotus) and several free ranging chickens.

An oasis away from home

Much needed getaway

This location is truly a gem, from the amenities to the attention to detail. The bed was a wonder and a soak in the hot tub was even better. Will definitely be returning.

Cozy and Comfortable Stay

Gesine was always on top of communications! The property was extremely inviting and the furnishings and linens were beautiful and pampering. There were so many amenities that enhanced our short stay - the kitchen was well equipped and the bath offered a variety of toiletries. I wish we had time to take advantage of the hot tub and fire pit - both were private and would have been amazing at night under the million stars we were able to see. Gesine went out of her way to make our stay exceptional.

The best little getaway spot

This place has everything you could want for a relaxing/romantic getaway. It feels completely private, and the hosts have thought of everything. It's well-equipped, cozy, and feels luxurious. We plan to come back again.

Amazing quaint property!

We came to Maine to visit my oldest son and Gesine was an amazing host. We loved our stay and will be trying some of her other properties as well. The outdoor shower was a game changer (for a 6’6” man 😂). My wife even had some chicken visitors! Lol!!

Great Stay

Thanks Gesine. Great stay and would recommend. Apartment was clean and had a nice fire pit and hot tub right outside. It was close to their house, but their was a privacy fence and it was above a garage. Thank you!

All about relaxation and comfort!

This is the cutest apartment ever with very warm and inviting decor! Gesine really thought of everything for the lotus. This place was so cozy and peaceful! The hot tub was an awesome bonus!! The bed was extremely comfortable. We loved the adorable deck for our low key mornings and a hot cup of coffee!! We had everything we needed for our stay thanks to Gesine. And she was always available for questions and was readily available for our needs. Thanks again Gesine, we will definitely be back soon! Plus your other two locations-we cannot wait to try those as well!

Better than expected!

From the moment we arrived it was a bliss!! The place was lovely! At night we had a fire and the cat came to say hello along with the chickens. We took a walk through the gated fence and saw the treehouse. When we left the owner offered fresh eggs. Very private and serine. Love love!!! Thank you for having us.

A Lovely Cozy Cottage

We arrived to a cozy little cottage, and were greeted with a fabulous display inside and outside the cottage. The decor was phenomenal and was very fitting to the style. All the annuities were very inclusive and thoughtful, especially with the hot tub. Our stay there was great and is rememberable, especially with the chickens and cats being so friendly. I would highly recommend this to all staying in Maine.

Do we have to leave??

Absolutely stunning little place that impressed me more and more as the stay went on. . Soaking tub of my dreams? Check. Great night’s sleep? Check. Private hot tub? Check. Charming chickens running around the yard and greeting me? Check! Seriously, you will not want to leave this zen-inducing space. My hubby and I are already looking forward to staying here again!

Perfect little paradise

We chose Geslines property because of the hot tub and sauna. Everything was exactly as pictured. It was the perfect little space with Everything we needed. When we arrived we were greeted by the sweetest group of chickens roaming the property. We entered through the gate where the private hot tub and sauna were located. Up the stairs to a cute little deck. The space is so perfect for a couples getaway. The bed is one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in and after the sauna and hot tub you'll get a great night's sleep. Gesline was so friendly and accommodating. We took a day trip to Portland which was only an hour away. If you're looking at this property go ahead and book it. She also just made a similar rental 3 min away that's just as gorgeous. Thank you so much, we would love to come back in the future.

Amazing stay!

Despite the subzero, Arctic temperatures, this place was in amazing stay. Every single detail was thought out. Clean, quiet, everything you could ask for. The amazing salt, water, hot tub when it was below 0°. Would highly recommend to anyone. What a perfect way to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

A true zen experience!

This place is a perfect getaway out in the woods!! It’s so detail oriented. Things like the hot tub and the sauna are a perfect addition to your zen experience! Super comfy bed, very modern decorated, and such a cozy place! The owner is a very sweet host! The roaming chickens are a bonus you won’t forget! We felt like we stayed at luxurious spa. The whole set up is very creative, artsy. Hot tub is great size with good temperature and paying for sauna is absolutely worth it.

We have Horn Pond & Wilson Lake right around the corner with public boat and beach access.
