4 Seasons of Family Fun on Lake Zumbro! Beautiful lakeside retreat.
The perfect lake place for family and friends to gather around the fire pit, take the kayaks and canoes out on the lake, swim, fish (year round), enjoy sunrises, sunsets, and wildlife with all the comforts of home! If you visit in the winter, there are many miles of snowmobile trails right off the lake. There are 3 restaurants right on Lake Zumbro so you don't have to cook if you choose not to but there is a full kitchen plus a charcoal grill and a large PitBoss propane flattop grill if you would like to cook/ grill outside! The main house sleeps 4 people upstairs in the "main" bedroom (Queen) with a set of twin bunkbeds and then there is an additional bedroom (Queen) downstairs for a total of 6 people in the main house. There is a full bathroom on the main floor and a full bathroom in the lower level. Washer and dryer are located in the lower level bathroom. There is another building, the "bunk house" that has 3 double beds in the upper level and and one double and a sleeper sofa in the lower level of the bunk house sleeping a total of 10 in that building. The cabin and bunkhouse are great but the best memories occur in the outside space. There is a hammock to enjoy a book and the breeze. There is a stand up a paddle board, 3 kayaks, and 2 canoes to explore the lake or go grab a bite a to eat or get a beverage across the lake at the Pondy Bar! We have all the out door games like bean bag toss and Yardtzee to keep your family entertained for hours. If you want to just sit while the kids swim, we have chairs for that! If you want to float, we have floats for that - including 2 Lily Pads for you to use. And finally, the best part, the fire pit! The most memories are made by the gigantic fire pit each night. There is something about this fire pit and the wide open sky and the stars, but the conversation just flows like music around this fire pit! We welcome you to come and experience the magic of it yourselves. We love it but can't use it every day of the year so are excited to share it with others!

Our group had a great stay! The beach area is fantastic and there were plenty of beds and spaces for our group to spread out. I would highly recommend a stay here!
We enjoyed a family weekend together at this lovely lakefront cabin and bunkhouse. We spent a lot of time in the water - swimming, floating, kayaking, canoeing, jumping off the dock and playing on the lily pad. We loved the large lawn, many places to eat outside, fire pit, grill, trees (dropping acorns :) and beautiful views of the lake.
Beautiful property with a huge yard overlooking the lake! All the amenities you’d want with things to do for all ages. Lots of places to sleep. Owners were organized and made the process easy!
Very welcoming accommodations. Everything you need to enjoy your time with loved ones and with access to the Lake. From meals together, playing games to fishing and campfires- this property has everything you need to enjoy your company and make memories.
Lots of games available as well as toys in a loft area (this was a big hit with our kids!!).
The hosts are helpful and friends and very responsive.

Nice place to stay. very clean. Extra cabin was nice for our large group. Owner had great communication!
This place was perfect for our family gathering. So many different spaces to hang out and talk, watch over the water, enjoy a nice sunset. Comfy beds and couches inside. So many fun water toys and yard games to play. No bugs! Canoeing around was nice. You can tell everyone in the bay was having a good time enjoying the water. Good fishing too!
Very nice and accurate description !
The beds were very comfortable to sleep in.
Plenty of bedding and towels for our guests!
Would love to rent again in summer 😀
It worked well for what we needed, a place to sleep and prepare and eat meals. The two bathroom’s is what sold it for us. With multiple gusts all wanting to get ready to le@ve for an event the second bath is great.
This property is located on a beautiful lake with lots of space to be down by the water. The house is stocked with lots of things to do both inside and outside. It was extremely relaxing and peaceful. It is a great rental for younger families. Just be aware that this property is NOT good for people who have difficulty with steps. There are lots of retaining walls and a spiral staircase. There is only the one bedroom that is accessible without a lot of stairs and it is the room with the queen bed and bunk beds. The bunk house has an upstairs and a downstairs (separate entrances/no access inside to each other) with a total of 5 full size beds. However there is no bathroom or running water in those rooms. If you need to go to the bathroom at night, you must go outside and navigate some challenging stairs in the dark. If you have a younger group who doesn’t use the bathroom at night, it shouldn’t be a problem. We had 2 older individuals in our group who struggled with stairs. One of them had to sleep on the couch even though there were empty beds in the bunkhouse. Also, make sure to bring your own wood if you would like to have a bonfire. They charge a $1 per log and some of the logs were very small.
