Welcome to my Swiss Style Gasthaus, located on a scenic country overlook with a beautiful view of Green County. You will be surrounded by peaceful woods with walking trails and abundant wildlife. Your proximity to New Glarus, Monroe, and Madison makes it a great home base.
This newly remodeled private suite is located in a residential home. It features a separate private entrance with a keypad, queen bed, private full bath with shower, kitchenette,
Wi-Fi, TV, and gas fireplace.
The backyard is yours to explore- 7 acres of woods, walking trails, picnic table, and
firepit.
Coming spring of 2022 a beautiful relaxing pool with deck.
8 minutes drive to New Glarus.
20 minutes drive to Monroe.
15 minute bikeride to New Glarus Woods State Park.

Weekend get away

We stayed for two nights in March. Close to New Glarus and other attractions but felt like we were in the country, very quiet. The place is very clean and has been recently renovated. We would stay there again. We hit many attractions, but driftless museum in Mt. Horeb with the outdoor photographs by Vicki France and the Hawks Mill Winery were two highlights from our trip.

Anniversary celebration

Our stay at Jaggi Gasthaus was a perfect place to stay for our Anniversary weekend get away. We loved the country setting and Annamarie was warm and welcoming!

Fantastic!

Comfortable, spotless, lovely decor. We absolutely loved our stay. There was attention to every detail. Very nice welcome cheese platter and bottle of wine. Every amenity imaginable with a gracious, friendly host. Beautiful rolling hills and farmland .We would stay here again.

The stay was wonderful, as was The host! We had everything we needed to be comfortable and the surprise charcuterie board she provides is really kind and great. The pool was very relaxing as well

Annamarie is a wonderful host, her property and the surrounding area is beautiful. We did not want for anything. Downtown is a short drive to a cute little town with shops, and dinning. Was nice to getaway and not have a schedule.

Relaxing Weekend

Annamarie was a great host. Super friendly and accommodating. Everything was tidy and clean. Good water pressure and the unit was nicely furnished. No frills with this suite but an overall lovely place to spend a weekend. Close by to Monroe and New Glarus. I would highly recommend to anybody looking for a cost-effective place to rest their head for the night.

Everything was wonderful! Enjoyed the goodie basket with homemade muffins & the bottle of wine....so thoughtful of Annamarie. Relaxing at the firepit in the evening while enjoying the beautiful farmland across the road was a real plus. The guest haus was perfect & much bigger than it looked in the photos. Location was great for all the things we did in the area.Perfect hostess!

Relaxing

We enjoyed staying here. The location was good for day trips to New Glarus and Monroe. We especially enjoyed the pool and relaxing around the fire pit. The only downside is that we had no control over the thermostat. Was warmer sleeping than I prefer.

The host, Annamarie, was remarkably welcoming, kind and friendly. The accomodations were excellent. Plenty of room, impeccably clean and neat, with all the touches of home. Plenty of towels, a welcome tray of snacks, use of the pool, pool deck and firepit plus multiple acres of woods with a little trail running through it. Perfect!

Peaceful

AnnaMarie was lovely, and shared some very interesting stories! Her place is on such beautiful land with awesome views. It was far too windy and cold, but we were hoping to use the beautiful fire pit. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine, some drinks, and some snacks! Such a nice touch. The place is very comfortable and nicely decorated. It was the perfect, peaceful place for a getaway for my husband, and I! Thank you, AnnaMarie!!

A perfect weekend!

My wife and I stayed here on a motorcycle trip to the area. Annamarie was a wonderful host! We enjoyed visiting with her and she is one of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet. The place was really clean and cozy. We loved the bottle of wine and snacks she provided. The location was scenic. You can enjoy watching the birds and squirrels in the backyard while the front yard overlooks the valley. We really enjoyed our time here and didn’t want to go home. We hope to be able to stay again.

So relaxing, cozy, and homey

Check in was great. Host met us at the door to make sure we had every thing we needed. We knew right off that we would be happy. It was so cozy. The host had a bottle of wine....which was from a local winery that we've to gone to. It was very clean. The setting was in the country , which made it special. So quiet. We would go back.

Wonderful stay outside New Glarus

Recently stayed at the Jaggi Gasthaus and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Annamarie was a gracious host and welcomed us with a delicious spread of cheese, crackers, and some fruit. Also had some New Glarus brews chilling in the fridge. Beautifully remodeled area in the basement. Wifi and Netflix available and borh worked fine for us. The pool was up and running but still a little chilly so we didn't try that out. It was ~10 min drive to downtown New Glarus area. Great time - will be back.

Sweet rural

Annamarie recently converted part of her walkout basement into a very comfy and clean efficiency apartment. Though we had intended to just spend nights there, we were drawn in by the serenity. The property has extensive woods and we enjoyed its walking trails. Numerous wildlife feeding areas kept the backyard interesting and she had various seating areas: a fire pit, a spot in the woods, and a picnic table area by the back door. We need to go back to make use of a large above ground pool, with its own deck. Annamarie is part of the local Swiss community and grew up in the house and was ready to make our stay as comfy as possible. We loved the place so much that we tacked on an extra day.
