BLACK MOLD and Cigarettes
My disappointment in this listing can only be topped by my disappointment in how little VRBO cares for its users. Straight to the facts, please read til end and sorry for long review but there is a lot and it get worse. Pictures of everything were provided to VRBO and they did nothing.
Entire place smelled strongly of cigarettes and mold which never faded and made us all nauseous. This was denied by the owner and VRBO asked me to "prove the smell".Our clothes still smelled even after washing them.The hot water didn't work on the washer.Pictures of the listing are false advertising and intentionally misleading, the pictures showed a trampoline and a swing (main reason we picked the place). which were not there at all resulting in immeasurable disappointment for my kids. The cookware provided was old, dirty, had leftover food on it and was rusted and pitted to the point of being unusable. One bowl had a cigarette burn and ashes in it. Both grills were moldy and could not be used. (serious health hazard). The front door did not latch and was only secured by the electronic lock the owners had the code to. The beach chairs provided were rusted and moldy.The couches and chairs are all heavily stained and dirty. All TV remotes were missing batteries. Laundry room flooded while we were there. BLACK MOLD was all around the house where the walls meet the floor specifically on door frames where the wood was rotting out. Heavy flooding evident from rot line all around the house.
