Dragon Trip

Went with friends for a long weekend of riding the Dragon and seeing the amazing sights of the Smoky Mountain Region. The Cabin was beautiful, clean and well stocked. And the views were breathtaking. The big downfall is the drive up to the house. I told the property mgr that we were coming there to ride and would be bringing 2 trailers. I specifically asked if it was accessible. He assured me it would be ok. Well we made it with 1 truck and trailer but it was very difficult and quite scary. It was a treacherous trek up the mountain and there was not room for 2 trucks and trailers. All in all we had a good time but do not recommend staying here if you are bringing motorcycles to ride.

Beautiful Views with minor issues

The Good It’s a spacious cabin with all the creature comforts you’d want to have. Indoor fireplace was nice. The views are fantastic. Drive up is very manageable. Host was accommodating. Not so good Most disappointing issue overall was the lack of disclosure on this listing that there is not one but two different construction sites going on directly across the street. There is ongoing work, albeit during “working hours”, within 100 feet of your bedroom windows. Waking up to sounds of excavators and concrete trucks was kind of a buzzkill. I totally understand that this is completely out of control of the host. And that cabins will inevitably be built. The issue was that there is no warning or disclosure for this ongoing construction. You basically just find out upon arrival. We saw the construction and just hoped for the best. Didn’t want to change our booking. Didn’t want the hassle. We just worked around it. Bed upstairs is super soft and will suck you to the middle. Beds downstairs are considerably firm. Is what it is. Not a big deal. Lastly there was tree and limb debris all over the deck by the hot tub.I felt like we just kept tracking it in the house and in the hot tub. It was a pain to walk on. So my wife and I swept it ourselves. Again not a huge deal. Also this property is not as private as I had thought. The bedroom windows are right on the road as is the hot tub. Probably won’t stay again but still managed to enjoy ourselves.

Breathtaking Views

This was our second visit and it didn't disappoint this time again. The views were unbelievable with the leaves changing colors that were indescribable. We were able to drive thru Smoky National Park and it was a beautiful drive. The cabin is exactly as pictures shown and we are hoping to schedule another trip in the spring. It was a little bit of heaven for us as we await so m e difficult days. Thanks again

Amazing View!!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The view is more amazing in person! Cabin was very clean and stocked with the necessities. Location was perfect…Bryson City was 20 minutes away, yet you felt away from it all up in the cabin. Drive up to the cabin was easy to do…road is paved up to the cabin. Check-in was easy, simply entered a code into a lock on the door. Very comfortable beds, plenty of towels, etc… We would definitely stay here again!!

Great location, perfect cabin

We had a fantastic stay at this cabin! Very clean and close to town. Very comfortable and amazing views. Would definitely stay here again. Internet was reliable, fast and without interruption (which was critical for video conferencing for work). Would recommend staying here.
