About this property

Across the Street from Lift -- Amazing Canyons/Park City Townhome!

YOU ARE GOING TO LOVE THIS TOWNHOME!

The location could not be better -- 20 second walk to The Canyons' Cabriolet (People Mover) lift. Yes, you read that right. You walk out the door of the townhome and across the street -- in less than one minute you will be riding The Canyons Cabriolet (people mover) lift, which whisks you to the heart of The Canyons Village where you can walk around and shop, eat dinner, ride the gondola up the mountain and possibly catch an outdoor concert. You can also catch the free town shuttle just across the street.

Beware of any Hidden Creek properties that are NOT on Aspen Drive. Those on Cedar Lane, Summit Drive or Willow Glen are a long walk to the Cabriolet -- downhill (which means uphill at the end of the day!) With those, you'll likely find yourself driving to the day skier parking lot. Red Pine condos are also a long walk down/uphill. Look closely at the map or email me and I'll send you an aerial photo that shows what I'm talking about. You will not find a condo or townhome that is closer to The Cabriolet than his one!

Our townhome has been recently completely remodeled with granite countertops, hardwood and slate flooring, new kitchen with stainless steel appliances, new bathrooms and furniture and much more!! Oversized, comfy furniture; Breakfast bar; Boot rack and boot removal bench at entry area; Downstairs living room with gas fireplace is great for adults, while upstairs large den/family room is perfect for kids. Plus, we recently added a deluxe elliptical machine in the den.

4 BEDROOMS are large and tastefully decorated, with plenty of drawers, shelves and hangers. Beds are as follows: MBRM (king), Guest BDRM downstairs (Queen), 3rd BDRM upstairs (Queen), 4th BDRM upstairs (accessed through 3rd BDRM; bunk beds and trundle bed (4 twins)). There are TVs in the living room, family room, Master BDRM, Guest Room and 3rd BDRM. There are also 2 DVR's in case you want to record a show. If you're all adults, the condo very comfortably sleeps 8 or 9. There's also an inflatable bed -- please, nobody sleep on the couch!

A BIT ON THE CANYONS: The Canyons is now connected to and a part of Park City Ski Resort, now the largest ski resort in the U.S. You've got to visit it now, before the rest of the world discovers it! Plus, The Canyons' side of Park City Ski Mtn definitely has the shortest lift lines of all the nearby ski mountains. I promise, you'll love the wide-ranging terrain and World Famous dry Utah powder. Ski from our townhome all the way to Main Street now that Park City and The Canyons are connected. You can also walk one block to the world famous Waldorf Astoria Hotel and Golden Door Spa and get a day pass to use their facilities.

But this isn’t just a ski-condo. If you’re reading this right now, you probably know how beautiful Park City is in the summer. I can guarantee that you will love this condo even more in the non-winter seasons. Kids love playing around outside and there's a small creek at the end of the cul-de-sac that they can explore. You’ll probably even see some wildlife, including birds, raccoons and deer. I expect you’ll soon be a returning guest like the many others who return to stay at the townhome on each visit. I hope you and your family come enjoy what our townhome has to offer including private hot tub, games and toys.

Location Location Location

The location was great as described! Very well equiped especially the kitchen. Hot tub on the back porch. Lots of tv's all smart tv's with Xfinity. Only minor complaint is that the heat in the unit was either too hot upstairs or too cold downstairs. There should probably be 2 thermostats but we would 100% stay there again. It was manageable.

Great condo, excellent location

My group was fortunate enough to stay at this condo located at the bottom of the Canyons ski resort. The house was plenty big for our group of 8. The furniture, appliances, and bedding was all good to great, with the best being the hot tub right out back. But the best part of the condo was the proximity to the Cabriolet gondola. It was literally 30 seconds to walk and get on the gondola, which takes you to the base of Canyons. While there are many condos technically closer in distance (as the bide flies) to the base, this location is one of the quickest and easiest to get to the base. I would highly recommend this unit!

Exactly as described! Great stay!

We just got back from a week of skiing in Park City, The Canyons. This condo was perfect for our family. We vacationed here with another family and it was the perfect size for us. In total, there were 9 of us, 5 kids (ages 9 months to 9 years) and 4 adults. The second family room upstairs was ideal for us. We were able to have a place for the kids to watch their movies and hang out while we stayed downstairs. You really can't ask for a better location to The Canyons resort. We literally were right across the street from the resort cabriolet that took us right to the base of the ski trails. I do not ski (nor does my friend) and it was very convenient to take the kids up the lift and drop them off and pick them up from ski school. It was also nice for the men and kids (on non school days) to come back to eat lunch and then go back out to ski. One day the men went to ski at Snowbird and the drive wasn't too far away. The condo was close to shops and grocery. The condo appeared exactly as the pictures and description. If there was a need, the condo owner was quick to respond. He was was easy and friendly to work with. If we decide to return to Park City, we will definitely be calling him back!!!! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The Canyons

This was a very spacious town house. We really enjoyed our stay. The only complaint was that either the air conditioning doesn't work or their isn't air conditioning. I turned down the temperature on the thermostat, but it did not cool off the place.

Fabulous spot in Park City

This place was ideal for a family vacation to Park City! We were able to mountain bike Canyons right from our house, and everything we needed or wanted to do was within a 10 minute drive. The house was very well decorated and stocked with everything we needed. My kids loved having the private hot tub off the back patio. We also visited the pool a few times while we were there. There are no pictures of it on the listing, but it's a really nice pool and spa and about 10 min walk from the house. Overall, an amazing place to stay and I would recommend it in summer and winter!

Large family ski trip

The only negative is saying this place sleeps 12 is a stretch! Including an air mattress where there is no space is not reasonable. After saying that everything else was absolutely wonderful! Having humidifier available was exceptional. The kitchen is user friendly. Our family has a wonderful time! Thank you!

The Perfect Spot

Great for our crew of 8. No one was crowded and we had everything we needed, even fans! I usually travel with a fan but just didn’t have room in my luggage this trip due to ski clothes being so bulky. The location was fabulous for skiing. Just steps to the Cabriolet (people mover) that takes you to base of the resort where you can hit the trails !! The public bus system stop is just as close but you need a map before jumping on because there are so many routes inbound and outbound but once you understand that’s the easiest way to travel anytime day or night. If I had one suggestion it would be the master bedroom mattress needs replaced. I felt like I was constantly having to “climb” back to center to keep from rolling out BUT I still managed to get my sleep 😁

Truly enjoyed the house and the convenience

House is well maintained, clean, inviting, enjoyable and sufficiently spacious for 11 of us. It is located across a street from the Cabriolet lift. I counted the number of steps from the front door to the lift but I am a little fuzzy on the number - I forgot whether it was 79 steps or 129 steps . The point, however, is that it is a very easy walk. The eight year old in our group had no problem walking in ski boots carrying her own skis. As an added bonus a 7-eleven and the shuttle stop (probably 5-6 different routes stop there) is right below the Cabriolet lift. The shuttle stop is called Canyons Transit Hub. Canyons and Park City are connected via a gondola. But if after skiing in the evening you want to go from the house to Park City there are several routes that can take you to Park City historical downtown from Canyons Transit Hub (perhaps a 250 steps walk from front door of the house).

Great spot in the Canyons

This was an ideal accommodation for my wife and 5 children ranging from 12-19. Literally a 20 sec walk to the cabriolet which freed my older ones to come an go as they pleased. The place is in excellent condition. We used the hot tub everyday after skiing. We needed the handy man (Brian) twice and he was very responsive, polite and could fix anything .

Christmas Family Getaway

This condo was perfect for our family getaway for Christmas. It was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed to accommodate our family. The fireplace added to the ambiance of being in the snowy mountains for Christmas. Having the cabriolet right across the street to ride to the resort was great. Highly recommend this!

Great, convenient location

We really enjoyed out time here. What struck us was the amazing location of this condo. We stayed mid-summer and discovered that the unit sits maybe 50 yards from a gondola that takes you to the ski area AND the center of all the activities. Not being ski season, we were treated to a free concert of the Wailers with probably 10,000 in attendance right on the mountain. We were able to walk there in minutes. We also found that, since we were in Park City for a family reunion, the ease of getting around the area on the free shuttles was a great solution. We also were able to go right down the road and watch the Olympic athletes train at the Olympic Training Center. Although we didn't ride, the mountain was very popular with mountain bikers. There are bike and running trails all along, but separated from, the roads. You can run or cycle on these asphalt paths for miles as I did. The Unit itself was very well decorated and comfortable. The kitchen, living spaces, bedrooms and bathrooms were all clean and well stocked. My family of 5 plus my mother-in-law fit quite easily. We did not even need the downstairs bedroom. The Jacuzzi was great and the barbeque worked. There are multiple, large televisions. We also enjoyed having the two separate living (hanging out) areas. One upstairs and one down.

Host profile image
We live in San Diego and love coming to Park City with our young kids several times a year. We're happy to entertain trade proposals.

Why they chose this property

We've loved The Canyons Ski Resort for 20 years... from when it was a small local mountain called Park West, to when it became Wolf Mountain and then The Canyons. Well, it's come a long way. The Canyons is now Utah's largest ski mountain and, in my opinion, its best. The chairlifts, restaurants and other facilities are all new. The staff have a great attitude and most importantly, the lift lines are MUCH SHORTER than at Park City or Deer Valley. But even once you narrow it down to stay near The Canyons, location within this area is very important. Our townhome, Unit 31B is the second closest unit to The Cabriolet out of the 80 or so other Hidden Creek Units. This makes a huge difference. From 31B, you walk across the street and step onto the lift. If you're staying up the hill at any of the Hidden Creek condos (as opposed to townhomes, which have a garage), you're walking about 1/2 mile or more to The Cabriolet. Same thing, and even worse, if you're staying at Red Pine. Take a look at an aerial and see how far the unit is from The Cabriolet. That's the ONLY thing that matters when you're walking in ski boots and carrying skis!

What makes this property unique

We love the convenience of this location. You can drive about 4 miles and be on Main Street, or you can go 2 miles in the opposite direction to shop or eat at Redstone Plaza, the Factory Outlet Mall or visit Utah Olympic Winter Park, where there's always cool things to watch or do. The town home is located extremely close to a shuttle stop for the free town shuttle. Also, we love being on a ground floor unit. Any time of year, it's nice to be able to open the sliding glass door and step out onto our own patio with a private hot tub, views of the slopes and serenity and privacy of the forest just outside the door. Kids love playing playing outside, building snowmen, sledding or exploring, and it's easy for Mom to keep an eye on them from the kitchen.
