Family Friendly, Locally Owned, Home on a Hill!

Conveniently located near I-90 (10 mins to downtown Rapid City, 15 minutes to Ellsworth AFB, 30 minutes to Sturgis) and Hwy 16 (40 minutes to Mount Rushmore). Near great restaurants (Dakotah Steakhouse), east side shopping (Rushmore Crossing), and entertainment (Watiki Waterpark) all about 5 minutes away.

Locally owned and managed by Rapid City residents! Your concerns and questions are addressed by us directly and not by a global call center. Enjoy the attention and timely response of people who personally care about your experience!

Please note that the person making the reservation must be among those staying at the house for the entire stay.

Also, due to severe pet dander allergies, NO PETS are allowed on the property at any time. This includes pets that belong to your guests that come to the house during the day.

Brand new (2021 build) 4 bedroom 2 bath home in Shepherd Hills with a 3 car garage (2 available year round, 3rd stall used for storage during winter) sits on a ridge line overlooking Rapid City with great views of sunsets over the Black Hills during evening walks in the neighborhood. New stainless appliances with white ice countertops.

Fully fenced back yard with propane grill available and fire pit with seating for eight.

New (2022) medium firm mattresses in all the rooms with queen size beds and 7 twin beds round out 13 total sleeping spots. For those with an infant used to sleeping in a crib, we have an infant crib in our lower-level sleeping room.

Game room for all with foosball, air hockey, and board games along with large HDTV with access to all your streaming networks through high speed internet provided.

Water softener installed - Rapid City has naturally hard water supply that can result in dry skin, damage to hair and nails, white stains on new surfaces, etc. You don't have to worry about that during your stay at our property!

Comfortable Family Friendly Home

Nice house that is centrally located. We did Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Badlands, Custer State Park, Deadwood, Spearfish Canyon and the Devils Tower. Except for the devils tower, everything was within an hours drive. Downtown Rapid City is fun as well.

Very nice place!

A very nice place for our family group of 13. Plenty of room for all of us, even a place where the kids could play away from the adults. It was also centrally located to where we needed to be.

This house was perfect for our family of 7, we could have definitely fit more people too! Lots of beds, couch space, and gathering areas. The property was better than advertised and easy to access. Good location to the various places we visited while staying. Would definitely stay again!

Great home in South Dakota

Really enjoyed our stay in Rapid City. The house was clean, check in and check out was easy, and Michael always kept a communication line open for questions etc. One of my best experiences with a VRBO. I highly recommend this place.

Convenient for all ages

Great Grandma to infant stayed comfortably with all needs met. The house was clean and convenient. The kitchen had all of the appliances and cooking utensils for our family meals. Owners communicated clearly the expectations and frequently to ensure our needs were met. The house is a four level. It has three double beds for adults, a crib, three sets of bunk beds and an upper bed bunk. For children, the house has a separate hang out place filled with activities and games. I would stay here again.

Beautiful Home

Our family of 8 came to Rapid City for vacation. We were all so pleased with the house. It was clean, well furninshed, and had a great layout. We never felt crowded, and with 4 kiddos that says a lot. Everything we needed to keep house was there. All we had to do was shop for food for the week. The house was easy to get to from I 90, and it was close to shopping and restaurants.

Perfect spot to see it all!

We were looking for a place that was centrally located to all of the areas we wanted to explore and could also accommodate our 5 kids and grandparents. The house was a perfect fit! The kids were able to enjoy their own space with plenty of games provided. Everything we could possibly need in the kitchen and throughout was waiting for us. Check in was easy and actually earlier than expected. The location was perfect for us...40 min to 1+hr to all the sights...Black Hills, Badlands, Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Jewel Cave, etc. The neighborhood was great with beautiful sunsets up on the hill. We'd highly recommend!

Great stay in Rapid City!

Stayed for 3 nights to visit with family who is stationed at Ellsworth AFB. Great property all around. Accurate listing that did not disappoint. Clean and new property, but unlike some other brand new listings, this one was nicely stocked with the necessities of daily living. Good location to use as a "base of operations" for seeing the local area. Did the Badlands/Prarie homestead/Minuteman missile Nat'l Historic site all in one day. Drove out to Devil's Tower the next day (go early to get parking!!) and Sturgis. It's about an hour drive to Keystone/Mt Rushmore. The queen beds are more on the firm side - about an 80 out of 100, and while we're used to more of a softer mattress, we slept well. They also provide mattress toppers if you need them (see previous comment about how they are well stocked). Great, quick communication with the owners. Would definitely stay here again.
