Cozy Historic Log Home on Main street 3 blocks from downtown Buffalo, quiet yet very short walk to downtown restaurants and bars, shops, etc. Large yard to relax in and enjoy a family BBQ, or just hang out. nicely decorated throughout and has everything you'll need for your stay, not your typical rental it is our home away from home and we've outfitted it the way that makes us comfortable , rental or not. If you don't know it already the Buffalo area is chuck full of old west history there are a multitude of historic sites to visit near by, there’s the Little Bighorn battlefield, Fort Kearney historic site or the Jim Gatchell museum, Occidental hotel and saloon built in 1880 with the likes of Buffalo Bill Cody and Theodore Roosevelt passing through it's doors at one time. the beautiful Johnson county courthouse built in 1884 still serves as it did when built. You'll see deer, wild turkeys wondering around town, geese, bald eagles, antelope and prairie dogs through out the area as well, of course the biggest attraction to the area is the Big Horn Mountains that offer fishing, hiking, hunting etc. We suggest doing some homework about the area and select the things that would interest you and your family ahead of time. The home was built by a Laramie county sheriff named Leslie Snow who served a role in the arrest and conviction of Tom Horn, a famous figure in western history. There is still t a "S" symbol built visible in front of the house the Snow family had built into the chimney. We call the house the Snow Cabin.

Ou stay was great, communication with Guy was great also. Lovely log home furnished all western theme. In Buffalo for our daughter's wedding so this was convenient.
We would stay here again.
We appreciated the location, the western decor and the comfortable beds. We had everything we needed and enjoyed this historic cabin. Look for the fun Wyoming monopoly game in the sideboard! Would stay here again.
We were able to check in early to enjoy our stay. Guy was very responsive and courteous. The house was clean, charming, and accommodated our needs. House was centrally located and was close to all that Buffalo had to offer. Thank you for hosting our stay in Buffalo!
Property was true to listing. Comfortable and well maintained. Decor added fun interest to the historic cabin. The kitchen had what we needed for all our meals. We enjoyed the close proximity to downtown as we could walk and not have to drive.

My family and I had an amazing stay! The home is so charming and cozy. They provided so many great amenities. The property managers have thought of literally everything to make you feel at home. Above and beyond anything I’ve ever experienced at a home stay!
We met some our sister and her husband for a quick weekend getaway. The cabin is simply adorable. So well put together and decorated! It had absolutely everything we needed, comfy beds and Guy was so helpful and responsive! We’d go back in a heartbeat.
We absolutely loved this property, the location, the amenities, and the charm and character of the house. It had a rustic feel but offered all the modern comforts. Guy was so responsive and kind, and all features were as advertised or better. Quiet neighborhood and less than a ten minute walk from the center of Buffalo, very guest friendly and easy to check in/out. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
This is a cool home in a great location in Buffalo. Historic home with lots of character. Spotless cleanliness and very well equipped. Enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this home to others.
The home was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. It is a lovely cabin which is well decorated in a western theme.
Plenty of room for parking two vehicles with easy access to the home. Guy was always responsive to any questions. Definitely a place we will rent again for our next visit to Buffalo.

Michiganders invade the Sheriff's House in Buffalo
Don't you love our title? I love the history of the house, and I honestly think our family was hoping it was haunted. Alas, no, but what great nights of sleep in a darlingly decorated home, with the cutest bedding (and comfy) and well appointed everything else. When I say cutely decorated, I mean it! Just adorable, and no expense spared! The cookware was top notch as well, as we made some meals there. The kids hung a hammock in the trees ( watch out and use mosquito spray, it's bad there). The washer and dryer in the basement are nice, just watch out for small drain hole that needs covered, I stepped in it. Other than that, we were the first to stay, and anyone in the future (probably us next year) will not be dissapointed. Nice walk to downtown, and the community pool which is nothing short of amazing that such a little town has this huge community pool. Really enjoyed our stay here.
