Lake in the Woods, nestled on the shores of Lake Placid, offers a private waterfront setting with convenient road access. Located on the Northern end of Brewster Bay, endless amenities await its guests. High end Adirondack furnishings and elegant features await including two master suites, a spacious Great Room, separate den, three additional bedrooms, four full bathrooms and one half, fully equipped kitchen, dining room, outdoor hot tub and large deck offering commanding lake views. There is space at the dock to tie up one boat, though the owner's boat remains in the covered slip. A pleasant sandy swimming area and original cobblestone fireplace are just steps away from the camp. Permit ID: STR-200408

Wonderful cabin on the lake

Charming log cabin sort of vibe to the place with lots of beds and bathrooms. Great location on the lake and 15 minute drive from Whiteface if you're coming to ski. Would definitely rent again and curious to see what it's like in the summer!

Beautiful summer escape

My family and I enjoyed a lovely week at this house this summer. The location is ideal with close proximity to the village while being on lake placid. The house is well stocked with towels and whatever other household needs with plenty of space for two families to share. There are three kayaks and brought our own paddle boards so we spend hours on the lake as it was so easy to access from the dock. Like many Adirondack style houses it can feel dated inside but it didn't take away from the experience. We hope to return again.
