Great Family Getaway

We went for a relaxing, family vacation. Our cabin was better than expected. It was so easy to communicate with our property manager. The pool temp went out & maintenance was there immediately to fix it. It was a great stay & we plan to stay at this cabin next time we go to the Smokies!

Average due to things not working.

The fireplace in the Livingroom did not work. The indoor heated pool was cold and could not be fixed during our stay so we had to pack everything up and move to a different unit. The shower in the master bedroom had no hot water.

Real great time. 2 bears made there way through the property daily and you could almost set your watch to them, only issue is the indoor pool is cold. Will stay here again.

Cabin was wonderful

We loved the cabin it was very nice. Sad that the pool was not heated or the heater was not working. We weren’t really able to enjoy the pool because the water was to cold. We had two five years that this was their birthday trip For turning 6 while there. The only reason we booked a cabin with a pool. Loved the location of the cabin.

Wow! Four King beds!

Place was amazing! We had four couples that enjoyed this place from the private bathrooms for all to the back porch with plenty of seating to the location close to downtown Gatlinburg! Perfect!

Horrible Experience

First of all, this is not a vacation rental by owner, it is a business. Not much communication and very basic instructions that caused checking in very difficult. Next we spent an hour or more on the phone to "disconnect" the pool surface alarm which a video was sent but did not work. The employee on the phone could not help because he said he didn't know how or what the issue was and that we would have to wait, so my 4 yr old grandson could not swim until the next day. The next morning we got a call and was told they would come out and add an alarm because there wasn't actually one on the pool. So wasted time. No one ever came out to add one. There was not a lot of water in the hot tub. The floors were dirty and we had black socks and black feet when walking on them. The deck area where we had planned to grill and eat was extremely dirty and we could not use. No one ever came to empty the trash from the outside bins and therefore they overflowed. Another reason we booked this property was the advertisement of the outside gas fire pit and it did not work. On Thursday night our final night to stay, the corner property had a house party and LOTS of people in and out with extremely loud music after 10pm while people all around running back and forth to the pool and house, we couldn't even enjoy sitting out by the fire pit if it worked because of the music and guest running around drinking and being loud. Just a horrible experience and would never stay here again

Nice place!

We had a very nice time, but we did experience some issues with communication in the few house issues we had. It took 4 calls to get a chirpping smoke detector replaced. and 2 call to get a DVD player rewired as they requested we didn't rewire anything. The first repair on the DVD player came in while we were out and fixed the DVD which was working and on a different floor. Overall a good experience

Good but could have been great

The cabin was everything we wanted and needed. The only issue was the pool water was cold. I did see in a previous review the same problem. The pool didn’t seem to be heated as listed but expected to be warm because of the room temperature, in my opinion not the same

Week stay with two familys with kids under 7

Very fun cabin. The only thing i have against this cabin is that the pool is as soon as you get to the basement. The 4th bedroom can't be used buy young kids because they have to walk by the pool to get up stairs. Other than that very nice stay.

Perfect!

We are a family of 8 and our stay was more than comfortable here. We loved the space, the pool, game room, and hot tub. Our cabin was clean and the check in and out process was easy and hassle free. Highly recommend this property.

Great property and location

The property was lovely, however we were without water from Friday evening to Saturday evening. The trip was frustrating because we couldn’t use bathrooms or showers from time we come in to late Saturday night. I called, texted and begged for information numerous times. There were no solutions but sending us to a public pool to shower 5 minutes away on Saturday. I think without the water issue, we would have enjoyed all the amenities. The property is indeed beautiful.

Pool doesn’t work! Deceptive!!!!! Constant Issue!

The rental was clean. However, when we booked, we asked that the pool be checked due to previous issues based on prior reviews. We were told that the pool was working properly, however, upon arrival the pool and pool room was not. It was the same issue as the previous guests! The pool was 71 degrees and we were told that they could not increase the temperature in the pool room which was at 70 as well.If you want a pool, do NOT book this cabin. We were deceived!!! By the time maintenance came, we had already unpacked and started cooking! We weren’t able to move our entire family to another unit! It would have been too much of a hassle! I am EXTREMELY disappointed as they knowingly allowed us to book this rental while lying about the pool. The shower water was lukewarm until the morning we left! The text system for issues worked pretty well as they were responsive, however, if you call, you may talk to someone who can’t answer your problem or doesn’t understand what you are saying. I really wanted to give a good review and had high hopes. They did refund $300 but for the inconvenience of not being able to use the pool which was the main selling point for our trip and now to realize that the pool NEVER WORKED!!!!! Unsatisfactory!!!!! BEWARE

Pool didn’t work / Bad customer service

The pool was supposed to be at 79 and the room at 81. When we arrived, the pool was at 70 and the room at 74. It was too cold to swim and we were told maintenance would come the following day so we missed out on the first night completely. We only booked this cabin to stay in and let the four kids swim the whole weekend. The next day, we were still told maintenance would come but they couldn’t give us a time. After complaining enough, we found out they were waiting for a part for the pool to be fixed. This means they knew the issue before we checked in but did not make us aware of it and tried to string us along. I demanded to be moved and requested a refund. They moved us to a different cabin but we lost 24 hours of fun vacation time and had the headache of having to pack everything up and move. The property manager still would not refund our first night and was rude about it. The new cabin we stayed in (in the same area with the same maintenance company) had many issues as well. Such as, the living room tv screen was blue (we were told it was because there was no mantle between it and the fireplace, the 2 upstairs TVs would not connect to internet, the living room toilet kept clogging, the hot tub was at 75 degrees and the sauna was broken. These are rather new cabins and they did not seem that way! I don’t suggest staying in any of them.

Amazing and Relaxing

Poolside Paradise was just amazing. The cabin was very clean. The cabin was well stocked when I was ready to make Dinner. This cabin was close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The indoor pool was fun to use but this home is close to the super clean community pool. The check in process was really easy. The property management company was quick to respond. I would highly recommend this cabin and can’t wait to go back.
