Beautiful and quaint Boathouse ideally situated on the Flint River, connected to Lake Seminole! Bring your family and your boat for an amazing weekend getaway. Perfect accommodations for boating, fishing, hunting, pontoon cruising, sunrise/sunset viewing, or all of the above. The Flint River is specifically known for long winding stretches making it an ideal location for the watersports enthusiast, while Lake Seminole is recognized as one of the premier bass fishing locations in America.

The space:

The "Boathouse" is located at the Bainbridge Marina and Scooter's RV Park off HWY 253 in Bainbridge, GA. The marina is directly across from the Earl May Boat Basin which has 7 public boat ramps, and a large outdoor amphitheater. The venue is often host to many outdoor concerts and special events (Large firework displays!).

Guest access:

All guests will have full access to the houseboat. The marina picnic tables, charcoal grills, boat and trailer parking, and vehicle parking are also available. Speak with Michael at the marina store for additional services including: fuel, rv campsites, dock slips.

Great Location

We needed a place to stay for a family reunion and just happened to find this Gem right around the corner from our event. I like the peace and quiet, the water view, and the owner was VERY responsive to our inquiries. We will visit again soon!

Stayed here with some friends for the river town days festival. It was perfect-had all the amenities we needed. We loved sitting on the screened in back pouch and watching the geese. The check in was flawless and the owner was super nice and helpful with any questions we had. This was a great stay!

Property and marina are unique and very peaceful. That house was sufficient and had everything we needed for 2 nights. Check in was simple and host was quick to respond when we reached out prior to arrival.

Love the Boathouse!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at the boathouse and we have really enjoyed both times. The best part is the screened in back porch with a beautiful view of sunrises, perfect for enjoying coffee first thing in the morning. Only complaint we have is the TVs. The living room tv was difficult to operate and we couldn’t get the bedroom tv to work at all.

If you like the outdoors (fishing and boating) this is place to stay! Super amazing house boat with GREAT access to the lake! You can even get a boat slip at the marina if you have a boat! I'll DEF be back! Mike

Peaceful place

Enjoyed our stay. Super quiet and peaceful. Barely saw anyone else all weekend. Didn’t eat at restaurant but a resident said it was excellent. We utilized the full kitchen to cook our meals. Our son fished all weekend. He did catch one bass but only nibbles the rest of the time.

Not well appointed. A little bit of toilet paper but not much.

The drain was clogged in the shower. I looked under the bed to find my missing shoe. Dusty and several socks under there with lots of dust.

Peaceful boat house

Loved the boathouse. The owner informed us of everything we needed to know. There is a restaurant and store right at the boathouse that you can walk to without leaving the area. Their food and staff was great. The boathouse has everything you need just pack your bags. We will definitely be booking again in the future.

Enjoyed

My husband and I really enjoyed our weekend. The marine was easy to find. This was our 1st houseboat stay so we are unable to compare it. This was a quite and peaceful place that we needed. Comfortable bed and furniture. We would definitely stay again.
