The Layout:
This is a historic, 1890's Victorian home. There is a stately, breathtaking front porch that also wraps around one side. The front door enters the living room which includes a queen size sleeper sofa and fireplace. The next room is the dining room with a small fireplace. Off the dining room is the bedroom with a queen size bed. There is a door in the bedroom to exit onto the porch. Also off of the dining room is the kitchen which also includes a brick fireplace. Beyond the kitchen is a small passage nook area with a large window looking out to the yard with a long shelf and stools for enjoying coffee in the morning. Beyond the coffee nook is the bathroom. There is a second bedroom with two additional queen beds. New laundry area is right inside the unit as of July 2020 and houses a free washer and dryer for guest use.
*The unit is a private apartment in a house and has its own private door. There is one other full time tenant that also lives onsite with their own private door and unit. This tenant does have outdoor cats. Please note that there are outdoor security cameras, but no cameras inside of the listing of course.
Parking:
There are two areas to park. One is right in front of the home on 2nd Ave and the other has a gated parking lot, which is located on the side of the home on Crenshaw St.
Neighborhood:
Chestnut Hill is a historic neighborhood in Nashville, TN, located just 1 mile from Broadway. This neighborhood includes historic Victorian homes, farmhouses, modern homes, and condos with great views of downtown Nashville and access to nearby amenities.
House Rules:
During your stay, we ask that you remember to be respectful of your neighbors. Quiet hours are from 10pm- 7am. For real, take the party to the Honky Tonks on Broadway. Additionally, thank you for respecting our 'no smoking' and 'no pets' policy so that we can keep our properties in the best condition possible. Pets include but are not limited to cats, zebras, livestock, and/or spouses. There are also no firearms permitted within the home or on the surrounding property. Should you choose to ignore this, there will be a $300 fine assessed for breaking either of these rules. We thank you for refraining and being respectful of our homes - please don't make us hunt you down for fines as it cuts into our nap time.
Interactions with Guests:
We are so glad you are here and we want your stay with us to be comfortable, pleasant, and memorable! Please don't hesitate to contact us for anything! We can be reached during our operation hours of 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at the number that is provided to you at check in. Please also feel free to utilize the messaging system for non-urgent requests or needs. For real though, we all live locally and are around to answer questions about the listing or to simply offer recommendations on the best mimosa for brunch.
Rental Policy:
It is Stay Local Nashville's policy to not rent to any local guest less than 7 days from today's date. An exception can be made if you are a returning guest or have three or more five star reviews. If you fall into this exception, please message us before you book so that your stay will not be immediately cancelled.
Refund Policy:
By booking with Stay Local Nashville, you understand that it is our policy to require a fully executed Non-Disparagement Agreement (NDA) prior to issuing any refund of any amount for any reason. Additionally, by booking with Stay Local Nashville, you understand and agree that you shall not be entitled to a refund of any amount without fully executing this NDA.

By booking with Stay Local Nashville, I give permission to SafelyStay, Inc., to screen my identity, and check criminal databases in order to confirm my reservation. Complete terms regarding Safely’s guest screening can be found at Safely's website, Safely dot com. You may receive an email from Concierge at Safely dot com to complete your screening. Please check your spam inbox for this email, and contact Safely at Concierge at Safely dot com or go to Safely dot com, if you have any questions. Additionally, I agree that the rental agreement must be signed and Safely guest screening must be completed within 3 days, otherwise my stay will be cancelled.
