Owner is a retired Air Force Flight Nurse from the state of Florida who came to Alaska over 50 years ago. She and her husband, now deceased, fell in love with Alaska and made this area home. Mel, the owner, loves to fish and is very knowledgeable about Alaska and its many adventurous activities. She will make you feel like part of the family while you are there.
