HISTORY: Designed as the nation’s first suburban shopping district for the automobile, the Country Club Plaza was the vision of developer J.C. Nichols. Seeking to create a real estate development that captured the allure of Spanish marketplaces, Nichols purchased several small lots of land in a swampy and undeveloped area in 1907 and opened the Plaza’s first buildings in 1922. Originally nicknamed “Nichols’ Folly,” the Country Club Plaza’s Moorish architecture now features more than $1 million in artwork, comprised of the district’s fountains, murals and more than 30 statues.

The lovely living room has a large sectional couch, additional chair and 65 inch TV to kick back and get some rest and relaxation.

Dining room offers seating for 6 and a complete coffee bar that features a Keurig coffee maker, drip coffee pot, French press and a pour over. A variety of k-cups, creamer and sugar are included in every stay! Ready to flip the switch from coffee to an adult beverage? We got you covered with an awesome mixer set ready for use!

The kitchen has tons of counter space for meal prepping as well as all of your kitchen essentials! Everything you need to enjoy a meal is provided including cookware, dishes and silverware! All major appliances are stainless steel and have all minor appliances you would need; toaster, blender hand mixer and more!

There is one full bathroom with a tub/shower combo in the home with Tommy Bahama luxury bath products including shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. One large bath towel and wash cloth are provided for each guest as well as dark make-up removal towels for convenience.

You will not want to get out of bed here! Both bedrooms feature a comfy queen size bed with hotel style linens and soft plush pillows! One of the bedrooms includes an additional TV.

Unique to this home is the back sunroom that has been converted into an at home gym and meditation space for you to keep up any routine you may have! The sunroom leads to the back yard which is so scenic you forget you are in the city. Enjoy a cup of joe or a glass of wine before hitting the town! You will truly love every inch of this home!

Parking: Private driveway for this home to the right below the front porch that can fit 2 small vehicles, the driveway is narrow. Street parking is also available on a first come first serve basis.

*PETS - We do allow pets with host approval. If you are planning on bringing a pet please notify us once you complete your booking. There is a $75 fee for one pet and $100 for two that is collected once the booking is confirmed and paid in full. (Guests are required to pick up after their pet, host provides dog bag stations.) This home has a fully fenced backyard and the neighborhood is perfect for walking! There is a $500 fine for any unauthorized pets.

*CANCELLATION POLICY - Guests can receive a full refund minus processing fees (approximately 4%) if they cancel up to 5 days before check in. No refund will be provided if cancelling less than 5 days before check in.
