Quaint cabin, everything was as advertised, plenty of room for 8 people (4 adults, 4 teens) plus a dog. Marybeth even allowed us to check out late to accommodate skiing on check-out day.
My husband and I and our four adult children had a wonderful Christmas at this wonderful log cabin. It was everything we were looking for. We also brought our two dogs who also enjoyed the home and the property. There was enough room for all of us to relax and enjoy ourselves. Getting into town to purchase groceries was easy. Would definitely recommend the house and consider going again. Also, the host is amazing. She was very available for communication from before my trip began, and throughout our time in the home, wonderful hostess. Thanks for giving our family a great Christmas gift.
Everything was clean and amazing. I think the listing wasn’t very clear, there was supposed to be a bed in the common space as well as a futon. There was a “bed” in the closet that could roll out. And that room is a full play room at this point.
We spend 2 nights over New Years in the Cabin. While the weather did not cooperate, the cabin and host really helped. The Cabin is perfectly equipped for a family with kids. Playroom with an abundance of toys, a great Livingroom and cozy kitchen. We enjoyed our stay and the hosts were easy to work with and helpful. They were accommodating in anyway they could. We will be back! I highly recommend for a woods and Lake getaway. enjoy what NH has to offer.

Ok rental
it was ok. We texted the host about the back door not being able to lock. We were told just to 'play around with it".And, if I am on vacation at your cabin and it snows, you should have people already in place. My daughter almost blew up her engine trying to get out. texted to say thanks for having us and never got response.
This was a beautiful property inside and out! They had everything we could possibly need and then some! The home owner was kind and answered any inquiries I had within minutes of being contacted. I highly reccomend this rental!
there was plenty of room for everyone to have their space
very close to Wellington State park
my grandsons loved the toy room
Games were played and memories were made :)
This was our third year at the cabin. It was as comfortable and well-supplied as always. My husband's favorite place was sitting on the front porch in the morning with his coffee and the paper. It was a great location for everything we wanted to do - beach time at Wellington, morning hikes, and blueberry picking.
Wonderful Family Friendly Cabin with lots of ament
Cabin was perfect for our family of four with plenty of room for our 3 year old and 9 year old to feel like they both had their own space. Cabin located in quiet area and short 5 minute drive to great hiking trails and Newfound Lake and 10 minute drive to downtown Bristol with great coffee shops. Ragged Mountain only 20 minutes away and Gunstock only 40 so easy to enjoy skiing, snow tubing, hiking and so much more. Extended our stay an additional night because we didn’t want to leave. Will be back again next February for sure.
If you love peace and quiet and the understated charm of a log cabin, stay here!
This was exactly as advertised with plenty of room for all. My Dad couldn’t do the stairs, but he was very comfortable sleeping on the pull out futon downstairs. Marybeth was flexible with our request upon checking in and the house had absolutely everything we needed.
The property is well-situated for leaf-peeping. Many great hikes are close by. It seemed to be well-stocked for families with kids even though we didn't need that.

Amazing and peaceful location, with almost every detail thought of inside the cabin. It had everything we needed.
We were there with 2 small kids and everyone enjoyed their time there.
All facilities were very modern
The house was great for our family b/c we have a 1 year old and they have gates already installed. The only drawback was we stayed during one of the few major heat waves in NH and there isn't air conditioning. Luckily there were fans in each room and ceiling fans so that made it doable. Clean, comfy, and great for our family.
Perfect house for a family with small children. Our 5, 3, and 1 year olds were delighted by the playroom, while we enjoyed the (multiple) decks and log cabin feel, all while being within 5 minutes of newfound lake and downtown Bristol.
Six of us enjoyed the many features of this well appointed log cabin home. Much of the time was spent together around the large dining room table where we enjoyed games, conversations and meals. The cabin was clean and located close to Newfound Lake and is a great home base for all of what northern NH has to offer.
Over the moon with this house. Beautiful and clean. There was plenty room and it being pet friendly made it perfect for me and my family. We were staying in the area for my daughters wedding weekend in Plymouth so it was close to all event locations, rehearsal dinner, after party location - Wellington beach etc. I would love to stay here again in the future! Thanks for helping to make our special cerebration even better!! :))) Joanna Goeman
The Cabin had a great layout for a family. It was super clean and had everything we needed. Host was very helpful with minor questions. Hikes in local area were awesome.
We are very familiar with the area, just found this home and really pleased that we did.
Dog friendly, plenty of room!
Small issues, hard water so pans and silverware needed some help. No big deal, into dishwasher on heavy duty.

Everything was perfect. Close to town. We were there for a celebration of life, only a 5 minute drive to inn on newfound lake. 1st time seeing the fall colors in 35 years. Amenities were as listed. Great for all ages. Highly recommend
This property was awesome, very spacious and relaxing. We had the opportunity to go boating on the Lake two days in a row, the weather was gorgeous. Everything about the check-in/check-out process was fantastic. We will definitely will plan on coming back.
