I cannot say enough great things about our Xtra stay here ! This place truly was a home away from home ! Very clean, cozy and so functional for relaxing, cooking , sleeping , the bathrooms are amazing. The location was perfect! Such a quiet area with beautiful scenery! We played many games at the kitchen table, cooked lots of meals inside and out and enjoyed the beautiful weather outside on the deck!
I highly recommend this place and truly hope we get the pleasure of staying here again ! Also there were chocolates, beautiful fresh flowers and cold seltzers when we arrived!
quiet area
Such a nice place to spend time in. The place was super clean, and very functional for cooking. Really nice welcoming details like fresh flowers, and spices in the cabinets. Will definitely come back in the future.
We named the property "Minty House". Not just because of the color, but it was a refreshing stay for our family. Nelson, in and of itself, was great. We'd come back for sure.
But the city and region side, when I asked my 6 year old son what he liked best about the house he mentioned the time spent playing Settlers of Catan and watching a movie. He also loved the double shower, lol, of all the things. After full days out and about, the home was really comfortable. The ideal size and location for our family of 3.
The renovations are beautiful, the location was quiet but close to all the amenities and restaurants we wanted to visit.
We'd 100% recommend this VRBO for any of our small family friends or couples.
Thank you Wren!
Very nicely renovated home. It was very clean and cozy. Well stocked with kitchen needs and spices. Beds were super comfortable and linens and towels were plenty. Quiet area and easy distance to get to places. Wren was excellent with communications, and on top of things. Thanks for the stay!
Wren's house is full of little luxuries that I wouldn't expect from a vacation rental - eg robes, decadent body lotions and soaps, candles, towels galore, fresh flowers, netflix account ready to use.... and many more home comforts.
My two teenage kids and I had a relaxing five days here, great location for exploring Nelson. No sounds from the renters below, very quiet street, and the house is immaculately clean.
Highly recommend.
We were so fortunate to find this spotlessly clean, comfortable and newly renovated studio to call home on our recent visit to Nelson. Very roomy and so well appointed, thank you Wren we were very happy.
Stayed here with my wife and two children for a week in September. The house is beautifully renovated and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's in a quiet part of Nelson and the nearby playground was a hit with our 3 year old. Fairly easy walk to downtown which we did a couple of times and bus stop is also nearby. Would definitely go back next time we're in town.
We were very excited to get to stay in this lovely home for a second time. It is quickly becoming a home away from home while in the area. This was our first summer visit and the kids loved the splash park just down the street and the ceiling fans in the bedrooms went a long way to keeping us cool.
This home has a well-equipped kitchen and bathrooms, with many homey touches. It had everything we wanted or needed. It is very clean and the host was quickly responsive to queries. Though listed as "within walking distance of downtown", which is technically true, future guests should know its more than 10 blocks distant, and all uphill when coming home. Nelson itself is a lovely town, with lots of shops and a nice beach. We will visit again.
Gorgeous accommodation in stunning and quiet Uphill area of Nelson. Beautifully appointed home with mix of new, antique and eclectic art. Showcases the beauty of summer and winter lake and mountain life. Kitchen was fully stocked for cooking and eating in. Bathrooms are spa worthy. Host was readily available and responsive and made check in easy. I was worried about the suite being too warm as it was hot outside but was comfortable throughout our stay. Would definately book again.
Wren’s beautiful home did not disappoint. It has a homey cosy feel the moment you are in the spacious entry with generous mud room complete with new washer and dryer. The large open living and dining is bright and airy and furnished in a fun eclectic style. It’s very family friendly with games and books for the kids. The kitchen is a pleasure to cook in: well equipped, with new appliances. The 2 bathrooms are tastefully designed; one with a huge shower with 2 heads and the other with a soaker tub our granddaughter enjoyed immensely. The beds are very comfortable!!
Wren has a corner lot that is flat and perfect for small children to run free. The deck was perfect for family BBQ s. The uphill location is very quiet with cool mountain breezes at night.
Most importantly, Wren was easy to get in touch with and responded quickly to our inquiries and very patient when we locked ourselves out... Twice!! Lol!
We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend others come enjoy her beautiful home and property.
My husband, son and I had a great trip skiing at Whitewater and staying in Nelson. Wren’s place was perfect for us. It was extremely clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We look forward to our next trip.
We all greatly enjoyed our stay. The host was very responsive and the place was so lovely with lots of homie touches. It is located in a quiet neighbourhood which made everyone feel safe and relaxed. The shower and bath tub were a really bonus. We all enjoyed our stay and it quickly became a home away from home.
The place was perfect for our need and exactly as shown on the pictures.
Would certainly stay there again.
Thanks!
