Amazing views of Lake Chatuge in Hiawassee at Little Bear Lodge Main level

Our homes offers all the comforts of home with panoramic views of Lake Chatuge and the mountains of Hiawassee, Ga as well as the North Carolina mountain range to the north. The scenery changes every hour as the sun rises and sets. The home has a king bed in the master and queen at the opposite end of home. A large stone Fireplace with an open floor plan so all can enjoy being together. This is the main level of the home for smaller parties to use, the lower level offers 2 more bedrooms and another full bath plus a workspace when needed. This is a quaint town that has numerous private owned restaurants and shopping, it is really in Hiawassee. You are only minutes away from Blairsville Ga, Helen Ga, Hayesville NC, Murphy NC, and Franklin NC. Too many waterfalls and hiking trails to mention but we have a map on a wall that shows all the parks and waterfall locations. Come enjoy our relaxing place and feel the peace it offers.

Little bear lodge

This home is amazing! As soon as you walk in you will see the amazing views and the decor makes you feel at home . This home is at the top of the mountain and yet so close to town , lots of shopping & outdoor activities for days . we cannot wait to come back . we will stay here again its very close to Young Harris College where are daughter will be attending soon .

Wonderful Place To Stay

This is our second time staying at this cabin and it still takes our breathe away! We traveled with family this time, 4 adults with pets, and we had ample space to enjoy the cabin. They view is incredible and the neighborhood is very nice.

Great Place

The accomadations were great. Many times a place does not have comfortable furniture; not this place !! The furniture is so comfortable. The cabin was so clean. I have had occasion to talk with the owner. He is so nice and accommodating. VRBO was very easy to deal with.

Great View and Cabin

We have visited North Georgia several times, about 7 times now, and this cabin had the most peaceful view. From looking straight through the windows of the kitchen and family room to waking up and looking out the window and seeing the beauty God created is priceless. The cabin itself has a very nice home feel. The decor and floor plan is wonderful and is a great location to all necessities. We enjoyed our stay so much.

Gtreat stay at Little Bear Lodge

The cabin was very comfortable. Very comfortable furniture and beds. It was easy to get to. Close to Hiawasse and Blairsville. Beautiful scenery from the back covered porch overlooking Lake Chatuge and the Georgia mountains.

Florida residents that love what North Georgia offers. Love the mountains, lake view and the change of seasons we don't get in Florida. Our goal will be to live here full time but till then we decided to share this home with others. Hope you love it as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

Little Bear Lodge offers a great view at 2500 elevation but an easy drive right off the main highway. Paved road and no switchbacks. The home feels like a "home", very comfortable with a full open floorplan, no matter what room you are in the view is easy to see from inside or out on the large covered back deck. Plenty of room for everybody to be together. It has a great stone fireplace with a large 55" TV above so easy to see from anywhere in the open area. Whether using the full house that sleeps up to 10 or just the main level for 4 it has a cozy comfortable feel.

What makes this property unique

The view and the comfortable feeling it offers. Watch the birds, Chipmunks and occasional Deer that visit the property often.
Just a few minutes to downtown Hiawassee or 15 minutes to Blairsville, 30mins to Blue Ridge with numerous shopping opportunities in between.
