Good Noe Valley Location

The unit is nicely appointed/decorated inside. It was clean and easy to be in. Owner was easy to communicate with and helpful.However, the lock system on outer and inner doors was cumbersome and difficult to manage. Also, location of unit requires walking through owner’s garage first. The kitchen appliances, such as microwave, stove, coffee, maker, etc. were very old. Owner also asks the guest to strip the beds, collect the used towels and linens, and throw out their garbage before leaving. Given price and cleaning fee, this felt unnecessary.

wonderful SF neighborhood stay

very very clean, nice kitchen and living area. wonderful shower pressure and nice hot water. We happened to visit on the hottest week SF had. temps in the 90s .. but as it was lower level apartment it stayed cool and with the Fan provided easily able to stay cool. Apartment was bright with many windows and a cute outdoor patio… would def stay again, very reasonably priced

Safe convenient location

Stayed here on our honeymoon. Sela was very responsive to our requests and questions. It was about 20 minutes by taxi from the airport. Great little garden apartment with private access. A couple of blocks from the vibrant "village" centre with shops, cafes and restaurants. Public transport nearby.superpupubliptransport.

Wonderful Property and Great Host

My husband and I stayed for 10 nights at the property while visiting our son and his family. Everything was as described and very clean. Sela was always available if we needed her. We love that it is on the ground floor, especially in San Francisco, where there are so many stairs! You will find lots of little birds in each room which led me to rename it as "Our Little Bird's Nest". The property is perfectly situated in Noe Valley with both Church Street and Sanchez being one to two blocks away. Both those streets are flat streets and also designated as "slow" street which means there are no cars except for the people who live on those streets. Made shopping and dining out very easy. There's also a produce store and a meat store on Sanchez, which made getting food for us to cook at the property very easy. Also perfect for nice long walks.

Cute apartment in a great area

Cute, clean apartment that was well equipped with most everything we needed (only thing we couldn’t find was an iron). It was in a great location within walking distance to several coffee shops, restaurants, and bodegas. The hosts also contacted me after they discovered an item I had accidentally left behind, and they even shipped it to me, which I very much appreciated!

Great Noe Valley location

This place was a very pleasant retreat for us as we attended to family matters. Easy walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, public transportation, and for general enjoyment. Perfect size for 2 people, comfortable furnishings, and a quiet location. The owner, Sela, was easily accessible for any communications. Would highly recommend this charming spot!

Great Location and Easy Communication

The location of this property was convenient to the bus and the train and is located in a safe and walkable neighborhood. There were plenty of linens and towels available. The kitchen had everything we needed and was clean. The check in instructions were clear. The only thing of note was the the top lock on the outside side can be a little finicky. The hosts answered all of our questions very quickly.

Clean, comfy stay in safe quiet neighborhood

Great little 1 bedrom apartment on the bottom floor of a quiet SF home. The place was spotless and looked exactly as advertised. Stocked with more amenities than we needed. I used to live in SF (Inner Richmond) and imo this area felt particularly safe and quiet. Parking was a breeze compared to most of the city-- never took more than a couple mins to find a spot within a block and many public transit options all around. And plenty of businesses within 5-10 min walk for anything you could need should you want to stay close. Sela was quick to respond to questions and overall a great host. We would definitely stay again :-)

Great apartment and centrally located

This apartment was very quaint with nice touches. Roomy couch and comfortable bed. Full kitchen that you could cook in. Very nice outdoor area. The location was ideal for walking to shops and restaurants. The host was very responsive.

Uncomfortable

The sectional couch is exceedingly low to the floor and the cushions are way past worn out. The entry threshold through the garage is dangerous... there's some sort of plumbing fixture at head-level when you come in the door. There are several half-steps all through the property...they are tripping hazards. There is no Ice maker and the toaster is an antique. The bathroom had the previous tenant's hair on the floor, shower, and sink. There is a washer and dryer in the adjacent garage, but renters aren't allowed to use them. The price is lower than other properties and now we know why.

I will be back!

The property itself was even better than expected- pictures do not accurately depict how spacious! The artwork, ambiance, and back sitting area along with available amenities and the host's assistance make this the best Vrbo experience we've ever had. The neighborhood is easily my favorite of the parts of San Francisco we explored. We are already planning our return trip. 10/10.
