Absolutely amazing

Enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed our stay. It was quiet and secluded which is what we were looking for. The accommodations were adequate though the a/c unit didn't work very well in the front bedroom. It seemed to work fine in the unit as a whole but the front bedroom was hot even with box fans running. Owner responded quickly to all messages.

Beautiful decorated bungalow

We enjoyed our stay in fort morgan. The pool was great for the days when the beach had a double red flag warning or jellyfish. The washer/dryer in the unit was great. Great kitchen. We loved being close to tacky jacks as well. The only improvement would be having handsoap in all the bathrooms and a few extra rolls of toilet paper but we picked some up at the store. Otherwise everything was as described. Communication with owner was great.

Warm and Relaxing

The stay was awesome. Just what I expected. The only hiccup we had was that we arrived very late at night and it was difficult to find the house. We kept driving by it for about an hour before we finally spotted it. The number could have been up higher on the house or the bushes covering it could be trimmed. However had we arrived as scheduled, we would not have that problem. So, overall the stay was great.

Highly Recommend

I cannot say enough good things about the owners. Communication was the best. They were always less than five minutes away if I needed anything!!! The house was super cute and was exactly as described. It was very clean and in a great neighborhood. I always felt safe and that was key because I was traveling with just my older children and my husband was not with me. It rained some while we were there and we were completely fine with just hanging out at the house. We explored the public beach that is within four minutes of the house. I used the kitchen for breakfast and lunch each day. It was well stocked with the kitchen tools I needed. All in all it was an excellent stay and I would highly recommend the Blue Bungalow to anyone!!

Relaxing getaway

We had a great time during our stay. The pool is great for kids. The bugs were pretty terrible during our stay though so I’d definitely recommend bringing bug spray.

Awesome Stay

My family had a wonderful vacation here. Scott was very friendly and communicative. Other than some sand, the house was very clean when we arrived. There were lots of little extras provided which was very appreciated, having extra. blankets, pillows, fans, is always nice. The floors do echo, so heavy-footed people can be heard throughout. The Wifi worked really well & streaming was available on the TVs. The location is great if you want to be away from the crowds of Gulf Shores, but still within driving distance. It does require some planning however as you don't really want to be going back and forth just for little trips. Thw beach is across the main road & while it is within about a 10 min walk, we decided it was easier to drive. There's a small public parking area just a few min. It's a good beach with nice sand & was never very crowded (end of March anyway) There was a public pool and a hot tub in the community area which we're both nice. We were unfortunately absolutely swarmed with no-see-ums at the hot tub one night which put a damper on the fun. Also bit a few times on the beach in the late evening, so bug spray is a good idea. Overall my family had a great vacation at the Blue Bungalow & would stay there again.

A wonderful experience!

Close to the beach, a cozy little place with plenty of room inside. It is a lot roomier inside than you would think by the photos. Of course the kids love the pool. This place is absolutely amazing, and any issues we came upon were handled swiftly by the owner. I cannot praise him enough, he and his wife run a solid operation. I would do business with them again anytime!

Memorable Family Vacation

The Blue Bungalow provided such a memorable vacation spot for our family! Comfortable house, close to the beach and awesome pool. Few kinks with check-in, but owner quickly got back to us with easy fixes. I would say that the key code did not activate until exactly at 3:00 PM, so do not arrive early! Overall, 5 stars and would happily stay there again!

Wonderful stay!

What determines a 5 star is not if nothing goes wrong but that when it does- how is it handled? We were given a code to the door that did not work AND the wrong internet password. These two things combined caused us to go on a search for internet service to then be able to contact Scott to get the correct info. Not exactly something you want to do with a family of 6 (four boys) late at night after a 12 hour drive. Thankfully- Scott was on it! He was able to quickly come to our aid and get us in the bungalow. The rest of our stay was great! Had everything we needed to cook simple meals and tend to our daily needs. Definitely would recommend! -Thanks Layson family!

Peaceful Family Vacation

The Blue Bungalow was perfect for our family vacation! On our trip was my husband and I, our 3 girls (2, 8, 14), along with one set of grandparents (7 people total). Close enough to the busier areas to go out and about but far enough away to completly disconnect and unwind. Perfect amount of space with amenities such as cooking utensils, pack n play, highchair, and washer/dryer in the home. It was awesome not to have to worry about those things! We especially appreciated the small toiletries provided such as shampoo, soap, and a little sealed baggy with makeup wipe, nail file, and hair ties in each bathroom. The community was so calm, kind, and welcoming. The host Scott was readily available by message for any needs or concerns and would occasionally check in and offer suggestions for things to do etc. in the area. The pool was amazing and the beach was so close! We would definitely return!

Cute blue bungalow! Five stars!

Loved the location of the blue bungalow! The bungalow was quiet and clean. It is right near the big pool and tennis courts. We drove to beach everyday (3 minute drive) & had no problem with parking. Pool and tennis courts were also clean. We had an issue with check-in but Scott was super quick to fix it. WiFi worked great. Never had any trouble parking in front of bungalow. The neighborhood felt safe. We would stay again!

Great place for a family.

The property was very clean and very easy to get to. The host was helpful. We only had to contact him once because we couldn't get the wifi to work and he had us fixed in less than 5 minutes. Beds were comfortable. Fans were provided in bedrooms. There was 8 of us (4 adults and 4 children..ages 9 to 16) and we were all comfortable and had plenty of room.

People was always blocking the walk way

People was always blocking the walk way with their cars and when we came home there was never parking spots so we never had our 2 spots so we was not around our place we had to park farther away then there where teenaged out there playing ball and hitting peoples cars while I was standing there they hit my car I did not like that the ball was wet and nasty make me wonder if the ball wasn’t in the water whrrr the gater was at cause of it being so nasty. Netflix wouldn’t work.
