Although on a highway route, I didn’t mind the sounds of traffic. I focused and enjoyed the serenity surrounding the cabin. You could hear the water running in the creek while sitting on the swing on the porch. I used the wood burner quite a bit. Slept like a baby and woke up late every day!!
My husband and I - and our Golden Retriever - had a really enjoyable and special time at this charming cabin! It was centrally located to the places we most wanted to visit. Our communication with the host was seamless. We would absolutely visit again!
Centrally located to everything we wanted to do. The stream was beautiful. The cabin is cute and clean but very small. There is traffic noise. Its located next to a busy state road so you hear semi trucks throughout the night. If you are a light sleeper i would not recommend staying here. The oven also did not work. We picked up a frozen pizza and could not cook it. Overall, its a cute cabin witha beautiful view of the stream but would not stay again. We just didn't sleep well.
Our stay was cut short (our choice) due to a power outage from tornadoes in the area but we loved our time there. A great little retreat from the every day hustle and bustle!
The cabin is in a beautiful spot, the late nights on the porch are great! The cabin its self is nice and it was clean and the location for riding was fantastic. Lots of miles were put on and a comfortable place to stay.
We had a great stay. We loved hearing the creek right outside the door. The cabin is close to the road so there is some road noise, but it wasn’t a deal breaker for us.
out of power for todays but all went well we had lots of fire wood to stay warm with .the water was still working and had a gas stove to cook on NICE STAY
We had a great time at the cabin and exploring the surrounding area. Very close to fun hikes, waterfalls, and overlooks. We also went to Charleston which was an hour drive. My kids loved playing in the creek and sleeping in the loft. My husband and I enjoyed the fire pit and the covered front porch. The Cabin very peaceful and has everything we needed.
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin. It was close to the National Park and gave our family plenty of yard space to play in. We will be returning!!!
We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin by the creek! It was a perfect weekend getaway to slow down and listen to the sounds of birds and water while reading and cooking. We loved the location and the cozy cabin. Will definitely be back again!
Our family loved the cabin! We enjoyed the games, the coffee, and the soothing sounds of nature. The fire inside was nice and cozy. The cabin was well stocked and very clean. We would love to stay again! If you have t-mobile, you likely won’t have internet. That was just fine for our family!
This was our second time coming here in the winter to the cabin. We just love it here so much! The creek, the porch, the woodstove It’s all fantastic! It’s secluded, but you are still so close to all of the parks and towns. It is clean and well stocked with everything you need.
This was a perfect weekend getaway with nearby attractions and activities. Very private cabin in the woods with everything you need and a beautiful creek outside to sit on the patio swing and listen to the water. We would definitely come back!
The cabin was so homey and private, yet nearby so many places. The bath towels were thick and heavenly! We loved the property! The last night we laid on the picnic table benches and watched the stars. We saw many meteors! What a fun weekend. Thank you!
It was a great time to get away from the everyday things! No tv, no internet! We reconnected with the beautiful outdoors. The cabin was so nice and quaint. We enjoyed seeing all the wildlife around the cabin. Even lightning bug. I can’t wait to come back.
