Beach condo

Great for small family, had everything by we needed for a brief stay. WiFi worked well, enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching wave and pelicans flying by. Easy access to the beach.

Great condo for one family

We have stayed at this condo complex several times and this specific condo has been our favorite. Clean, no noise, well kept, and with nice additions throughout the condo to make the stay easy and enjoyable. Beach access is easy and the pool is clean and close-by. Highly recommend!

A good stay

The apartment was a bit smaller than I expected, but it fit our needs. We enjoyed being close to the water even though it took a good walk to get there (having a folding wagon and a canopy is a must if you have little kids or anything that is needed to haul down to the beach). We also enjoyed the pool, especially the wading pool for the little ones.

Quite place with great beach access

Family of four- 2 adults with two teenagers. The beach is quiet and secluded, which is nice. The condo is as advertised and we were comfortable, but there are some issues with water pressure, particularly in the kitchen. All in all, a nice, relaxing stay.

Beachside Family Gathering

The facility location is great. It is away from hustle and bustle of typical Seawall madness. It is a more laid back beach family atmosphere. The only negative is that the facility lacks the insulation to keep you from hearing the small feet above you when they hit the floor and run with excitement till they head for the beach.

Weekday Reprieve

Unwinding from the grind of daily life, we found rejuvenation and relaxation at this cute property. Waking up to walk on the beach at sunrise, listening to the waves and the smell of the ocean helped to recalibrate our mental outlook. A weekday getaway was perfect! Not a lot of people around and no loud parties or music to interrupt the solitude and peace. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to others.

Beautiful Location

The location is beautiful. This is one of only a couple properties RIGHT ON THE BEACH. A lot of properties on the island, but most of them are in a congested area and you have to walk across a VERY busy road to get to the beach. This property is on the beach side of the road and it is further West - away from the congestion. We are very happy we stayed here. Our particular unit had a few minor maintenance issues - windows not opening, low water pressure in the kitchen - but we were on the BEACH, baby, so we didn't really care that much.

Fourth of July Vacation

We loved the location!!! Great to have direct access to the beach & pool. Pineapple Paradise was nice & cozy. For a 3 night stay, we had what we needed. Our family could have used more towels & extra blankets available. We got the maintenance crew to come fix the stand alone shower plumbing. It was a pretty easy access stay, no complaints. Plenty of people around Galveston for the holiday, but the Seascapes did not feel overcrowded. Very enjoyable :)

Family weekend

The unit was it the right size and had everything we needed. The property is a little dated and could use some building cleaning. The pool was nice and the access to the beach was convenient. If the buildings were better cared for and clean it would have been 5 stars. I would suggest updating and adding some amenities like a game room for when it rains and maybe a small necessities store. There is nothing on property and nothing within docent walking distance.

It was fine

The condo was fine. The location, views and the heated pool/hot tub connected to the pool saved the trip for us. The condo needed a good deep clean. The baseboards in the kitchen were dirty or looked dirty, the microwave hadn’t been wiped out and the floor felt overly gritty. Like it hadn’t had a great sweep or vacuum in a while. The toilet made a constant refilling gasping noise and the fans in both bedrooms squeaked so they couldn’t be used at night. If you are staying for more than 2 days with 4 people, bring your own bath towels. There weren’t enough in the condo - especially when you have to use one for the floor in the bathroom because there were no provided bath rugs or towels for this use. The shower off the kitchen never got hot. We all ended up taking showers in the bathroom off the master. It would be great if the owners would provide a few rugs throughout the condo; would deep clean the grey chair- it was filthy - if we sat on it we covered it with a towel; Install blackout curtains in the bedrooms - the lights are crazy bright in the hallways outside making the room very bright; check out the dishwasher- we did a load the night before we left intending to unload it in the morning but the dishes were filthy still.

A bit Underwhelming

When we arrived, the key pad on the door didn't work so we had to call maintenance to fix it. We were provided the wrong code to gain access to the beach and pool so if we had not tried it on the pool area before going on the beach that first night, we would have been stuck on the beach in the dark not able to get in. Thankfully the guard at the front was able to give us the correct one. As far as the condo itself, it’s a bit small. They only provided thin blankets for each bed, so we had to go to Wal-Mart and purchase several. The place has a musty smell and several things were dirty including the bathtub and silverware drawer that we had to clean. The main issues were the dishwasher and people upstairs. The dishwasher did not dry so we had to spend the time to dry ALL the dishes, not something you want to do on vacation. The really big issue was the people upstairs. The first day or 2 there wasn’t anyone above us but when they arrived it was torture. It sounded like elephants running around and it was ALL the time. We were so happy to be able to get out of there. Overall, I would not stay here again.

Delightful Visit!

Our family loved staying at the Pineapple Paradise! The place is lovely and had toys for the children, plenty of towels and soap, shampoo, etc. There was even a full bin of ice when we arrived! We loved the view of the beach, as well as the RV park. So much to watch and see. We hope to visit again and stay in Pineapple Paradise!

Great location on Galveston beach

This property was a great fit for myself, my 7 year old son and my friends with their 4 year old daughter. The beach access was convenient, the kids loved the pool and we were still able to get down to Seawall blvd when we wanted to while being on a quieter part of the island. Would definitely choose this spot again!

Thank you for a great stay! Plenty of room for 6 and watched every sunset from the balcony! Perfect for a quick weekend getaway. You can’t beat the location. Pool steps away from the beach. Will stay again for sure!
