Come enjoy this beautifully remodeled, ground-level condo at your next tropical vacation with amazing resort amenities!Located in South Kihei,Kamaole Sandsis set amid beautiful tropical gardens with waterfalls, ponds, fountains, and expansive green lawns. This 14-acre vacation resort has all of the amenities you would expect including a large gated pool with lounge chairs, adult hot-tub, children's pool and hot-tub, gym, covered and free-to-usegas grills, and four tennis courts.
Our Maui condo is located on the ground floorin Building 10 andare some of closest units to the beach with partial ocean and sunset views from the lanai (porch in Hawaiian). Directly across the street isKamaole Sands Beach Park III, a safe andscenic grassy park overlooking apicturesque beach perfect for swimming, snorkeling and sunbathing.
Guests are able to take advantage of easy access to Wailea, home of exclusive shoppingandworld-class golf courses, andbeachfront walking paths that extend the length of Wailea overlooking the prettiest beaches on Maui. The condo is also just ashort walk to local restaurants with fresh catches of the day, fantastic lunches spots,shopping, groceries, water sport rentals, scooter rentals, and Maui'sfamous cinnamon rolls.Other amazing amenities includediving, whale watching, boat rentals,andsnorkeling excursions to Molokini Crater that launch directly from theKihei Boat Ramp just a 2-minute walk away.
After a long day of relaxation or fun adventures, guests come home to a updated vacation rental featuringgranite counters in the kitchen and bathrooms, cherry cabinets, stainless appliances, walk-in glass showers, two smart TVs, reading materials, games, Hawaii cook books, and free internet.The open living area has been professionally decorated aiming to provide acomfortable, tropical and tasteful space to relax in. Air conditioning and ceiling fansare located in both the main bedroom and living room for the ultimate escape from thoseextra-hot beach days.
For our Canadian guests the internet phone in the bedroom allows unlimited free calls to Canada, excluding the northern territories.

You will have exclusive use of parking space #66 which is very close tothe condo.
Upon a successful booking, bookings will be shared with our booking manager partner,Maui Condo. Maui Condo is responsible for sharing check-in and check-out instructions, WiFi, guest information,and guests needs during their stay. Due to the nature of travel, cancellations must be made within 30 days prior to occupancy in order to receive a full 100% refund includingtaxes and fees. Credit card processing fees are not refundable.

Great property. Ground level and very close to beach across the street (100 yards). Love the water fountains and ground level. Two full baths are nice. Kitchen was very well stocked and A/C was impressive.

Fantastic Location and condo

It has been years since we stayed at the south end of Maui and thoroughly enjoyed the community. Walking access to many dining spots and beaches. The condo is beautifully furnished and was super comfortable with everything we needed to cook, enjoy the beach, and for sunset dinners on the lanai. We love to stay again some time. Denise & Mike

Amazing location and amazing condo!

This condo was absolutely perfect for our family of 4! It far exceeded my expectations. It had everything we needed for our stay. We loved the ground floor location right on the green space because it gave our kids a place to run off some energy. And the view from the lanai (or a short walk to the beach) was perfect for watching sunsets. The location can’t be beat, amazing beach Kam 3 right across the street and shopping/restaurants were a short walk away. The resort grounds were beautiful, the pool was lovely. We had such an enjoyable stay here, and would love to stay here again someday!

Perfect Location

This unit is a condo located on the bottom floor of an expansive development. There are over 400 units. However, it never felt very cramped or overcrowded. Being on the lowest level had some perks and negative effects. A lovely green space is available adjacent to the back patio, with a nice table and four chairs. We ate breakfast there each morning and enjoyed birds and children milling about. Overall, the area is quiet but noise from the parking lot and walkways easily filters into the bedroom due to an in-windows cooling unit that requires a screened window remain open. There is another cooling unit in the living room, which we ran at night and proved much quieter than the one in the bedroom. It made the space comfortable, but it is on a timer and requires resetting every few hours to keep it going. During the day, it wasn't a big deal, but it was annoying at night. The condo had almost everything we needed but bring your own bar soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Soft soap was available but felt rationed. There is an upscale microwave and stove but no oven. Spices, dishes, and pans seemed adequate. There was no soap for the dishwasher, so the few dishes we used we washed by hand or rinsed and left in the dishwater to be taken care of later. There is no tub, but a nice shower is present off the bedroom, which had great water pressure. The hot water tank must be quite small, so shower quickly. Due to the location and comfort level of the unit we would recommend it.

Great condo and loved our stay.

Condo was clean and very comfortable. Lots of beach gear, from chairs, snorkeling gear, cooler bags, to beach tents. Great location and across the street to Kamaole Beach III for the perfect sunset views. No issues with any of the amenities, everything worked and loved the fact that there was a washer and dryer in the unit. We will definitely try to get this unit again when we come back to Maui.

Cozy, Quiete & Easy Beach access

Very cozy ground level unit with nice views of the beach and sunset across the street. Unit faces South Kihei Rd and directly across the street from Kamaoke Beach III. 20-30 minute walk to the “Triangle” restaurants and coffee shops up S Kihei Rd. Unit is clean and safe. Parking a plus. The futon couch is super comfortable to sleep on. Kitchen has all the essentials. We enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful!

We had a wonderful stay here for the week. It’s pretty much as close to the water as you can get. Going out in the morning for snorkeling was our favorite activity as the visibility was incredible. We saw sea turtles, tropical fish, and lots of life on the reefs near the rocks. In the afternoon by about 1:00 the trade winds start and that was our signal to head back to the beach or “home” to the condo. We had one little issue when someone else parked in our assigned space one evening. I called the number I was given to and indeed it was resolved quickly. Also, the security guard that drives around in the golf cart was kind and helpful and it gave me extra peace of mind to know that they are there monitoring. The condo felt like our home away from home and we would love to return.

Kamaole Sands Does Not Disappoint!

We had the best trip! This resort is beautiful and the condo was perfect for us. The condo has an ocean view as well as a view of the grounds and a few fountains. The pools are spacious and a good temperature. Our grandchildren stayed nearby and they loved the kids pool. We used the BBQ and ate in a lot, but Tommy Bahamas in Wailia was a great treat. It was quiet most of the time and so relaxing. The condo is a short walk to a great beach. We will hope to stay here again. The owners Jeff and Susan are kind, helpful and communicative. Aloha!

Slice of heaven

Property was perfect few little kinks, but were easily figured out. Would stay here again! Great location and perfect views. Bed was comfy, more than enough pillows/sheets if you need extra. Beach gear was perfect and an added bonus! However a better cooler would be a great addition to the beach collection.

Amazing Condo in Kihei

This condo is in the perfect location on the border of Kihei and Wailea. It is directly eacross the street from Kam III Beach and has easy access to the highway when you are ready to venture to other great places on Maui. It is air conditioned and had everything we need for our 10-day stay. I can’t wait to visit again!

This accommodation was exactly as listed and had absolutely everything we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you may need and it was so nice that they had beach chairs/umbrella and beach toys for the kids to use!! Located right across the street from Kamaole 3 beach and the pool was hit for our family in the afternoons. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone.

Perfect location and nice vacation home

First about the location, this home is in South Kihei and walkable to best restaurants and beaches. Easy access to highway to go to Haleakalā, Road to Hana or north west. The whole property is also well maintained. About the home, this unit has partial ocean views and you can watch sunset from lanai. Easy access to the gardens from lanai. The home has everything we can ask for in a vacation rental including some beach toys, snorkel gear, beach chairs, beach umbrellas and tent. Parking slot is also very near to the unit. Very comfortable bed and plenty of linen. The AC is working well and much needed relief in hot weather . Few things can be improved are the TVs which are very slow when using Apps and the Wi-Fii does not reach the whole unit well. Good support from property management team, we had wi-fii not working and they promptly came and resolved in reasonable time frame. Recommend for any one planning to stay in Kihei.

Perfect quiet location with ALL the amenities

Nice condo with beautiful gardens, refreshing pool and hot tubs with ample seating, and the cleanest grills with tables/seating you’ve ever seen. This condo included many beach accessories: 4 chairs, 4 towels, umbrellas, sand toys. We added our snorkel gear to the closet. Beds were comfy, small teens even slept great on the pullout couch. Ice machine in fridge, small washer and dryer, dish washer, lanai overlooks beautiful gardens and fountain. Very close walking access to the great Kam III beach, restaurants and stores are a short walk away. We love Dolphin Square with Maui Fish and Chips, Jaws Mexican, and cute gift shop. Would definitely stay here again.

This condo is clean and comfortable. Well stocked kitchen and beach accessories. The sunset views from the lanai are spectacular. Would most definitely stay here again should we find ourselves back in Maui.

Great place for Fun and Relaxation!

We really enjoyed our time here after many years away from Maui. The location is perfect! Coffee on the lanai with views of the ocean in the morning. Afternoons at the beach across the street. Evenings grilling fresh local fish and playing in the pool/relaxing in the hot tubs. Walking distance to great local restaurants and shops. Will be back!

Great location and stay

We stayed at Kamaole Sands before so knew what to expect: great location, spacious condos, in suite laundry etc. Host was amazing, let us have late check out without additional charge. Only thing I would note is that the bedroom portable A/C unit is noisier than most units, so bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper.

Fabulous!

We had a wonderful vacation in Maui. Love visiting here. Kihei is one of our favourite places to stay and being right across from the Kam III beach is great along with walking distance to a few shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend staying in Jeff and Susan’s condo. It was very clean, well stocked and nicely updated. Had everything we needed for our stay and the view is wonderful. We will definitely rent this unit again and can’t wait until we can return. Maui never disappoints and our stay here made it that much better. Mahalo!

Kihei condo

The condo was perfect and in great condition. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio every night to see the sunset. You can walk across the street to the beach and many restaurants are in walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.

Our unit is family owned by Jeffrey and Susan Williams, from Monterey Bay, California. We have always loved Maui and try to spend as much time here as possible. We have made this our home away from home, and hope to share it with you.

Why they chose this property

Maui, and Kamaole Sands in particular have been our family destination for the holidays for the past 25 years. We have always loved Hawaii, and love it in Kihei. Kamaole Sands has always been our favorite place to stay on the island due to the great location and the wonderful atmosphere at the resort. We think it is an excellent value for what it offers.

What makes this property unique

We recently worked with a private contractor to have the unit totally remodeled and turned it into our home away from home. We are planning on retiring soon and spending much more time in Maui. Our unit is located in the 10 building, the closest to the beach and one of the most desirable and requested in the complex. We love the very easy access to the beach walking right from our lanai.
