We thought the property was nicely decorated. Everything was functional and a good condition. At the time of the year we were going the pool was not an issue.

Overall our stay at this cabin was good! There’s is a super market 3 minutes away driving and it’s about 12 minutes away from Lake George. The area is very quiet and nice.
This place it's ok. Nice house but i was told the pool was in good conditions that was a lie the pool is very unsanitary it look they dont do maintenance. Also it has slimy worms. There are too many spiders all over the house. Not recommend if you want to rent this house for 8 people the Fulton is too hard to sleep in. And very itch.Brin
Overall our stay was lovely. Beautiful updated home close to the excitement of downtown lake George. We were a little disappointed with a few things however. One being the pool. I had reached out to the home owner in regards to the pool and making sure it was clean before arrival as I had read some reviews on that being an issue for other guests. Unfortunately it wasn’t cleaned after being told it would be. Nothing super huge but still upsetting. There wasn’t very many cooking supplies which made cooking a challenge as well. Would definitely go back in hope those few things could be considered in the future.

The house is very nice and very safe. The areas are spacious, pleasant. Very well located. You will find everything inside it. The only thing we didn't like was that the pool was in terrible condition... during the entire weekend we couldn't make any use of it. The other thing is that unfortunately it didn't feel as clean as we would have liked. There were cobwebs in the corners, the blinds were very full of dust and had a strong smell of fungus and humidity. Not to mention that there were many spiders, but they were defenseless, but they were annoying anyway.
But the house is very nice.
The property was in a word: lovely. You can tell a lot of work went into renovating this place. My friend and I absolutely loved just chilling on the front porch each night. We meant to have a fire in the back, but we never got around to it. There was plenty of wood provided though, which was fantastic, as you can't bring firewood from out of state. The pool was a nice addition. The beds were very comfortable. The water was crisp and clean. My only complaint at all was not with the property or the landlord, but rather with the site for not listing all of the checkin details properly. The owner was fantastic about communicating though, and made sure any of our needs were immediately taken care of. I would book with this owner (and the property) again for sure!
This house was perfect for our needs. We had a group of 5 people (ages 17+) and the 3 bedrooms were perfect. Plus, we were just a few minutes from extended family in Lake George Village. Excellent location for getting to/from Lake George Village and the house was clean and nicely decorated.
In addition to all the standard aspects of this home (cleanliness, ease of check-in, accuracy of on-line description, communication w/ host, and location) all of which exceeded our expectations, was our hosts adherence to the rustic theme with the interior decor. This home is anything but a run of the mill listing. I truly believe anyone fortunate enough to stay here will be favorably impressed. Yes, absolutely, I will stay here again without hesitation.
My family and I really enjoyed the property. All the attractions we wanted to visit were well in a short drive of this location. Very quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed the nights out on the patio with the entire family , listen to music, having drinks and conversation, and gazing at the star filled nights. A Very clean and comfortable place to stay. One thing I might add... the swimming pool can be filtered better. I only say this because, I clean pools. So, I take notice. even when I am at commercial waterparks I pick. Other than that... I will definitely return whenever I plan to vaction in the area again. It is a nice place.
The woodwork throughout the home is just beautiful & very clean. Note, all the bedrooms are upstairs, the bathroom is downstairs. Not a complaint:: There are the bare essentials in the kitchen, no standard spices, no napkins, 1 roll of paper towels, I have been renting for 15 yrs. & all the kitchens have been fully stocked. I should have inquired but instead I assumed, so you just need to bring everything including whatever baking dishes you may need as well as grill utensils.
The home definitely sleeps 8 comfortably but the living room has only a futon, very uncomfortable,( you are basically sitting on the woodwork) & a high chair, we had to bring in an adirondack chair from outside & put pillows on it. It will never accommodate 8 people, definitely needs comfortable sofas. There was basically no clothes detergent, I used the last drops to wash their towels, we had no need to do the laundry but if you are, you might want to ask if there's enough. Again, we have just been spoiled with other homes. I would definitely stay again if the living room was more comfortable so we can enjoy a movie or 2 with the family. There was an electric fireplace insert but no extension cord so we couldn't use it.
Good location, short drive to Lake George Village, nearby supermarket/gas, etc. Short drive to other activities north like rail biking, whitewater rafting, etc. Bunk room is great for kids, room and beds are great size. Simple check in, Glenda is very responsive and available.
This is the most cozy and comfortable house I’ve rented. Whole house was fully air conditioned and very clean. The location was also amazing being only a 8 minute drive into downtown Lake George. Had plenty of space for my party of 7, with room to spare.

Nicely Updated
Nicely updated property that is close to the village. No key or wi-fi instructions provided for check-in, so I messaged the owner to get those details right before arriving. We did see mice and there were mouse droppings around the house one morning. We notified the owner and she messaged us right back. It seems like the owners are actively trying to resolve the mouse situation and we were glad to get a quick response.

I really wanted to give it at least 4 starts but…
First of all I want to say that the home was absolutely beautiful and had the cutest front porch. They did a really nice job with renovations. When I first booked this residence it still did not have any reviews so I couldn’t go off of anyones experiences staying there. However, seeing myself I can agree with the other review regarding the backyard being a pile of dirt. There was a tiny area for the fire/patio furniture. There was some side yard where our kids could play but there were many rocks. Also like the other review said the pool was literally by the road which wasn’t the best location for it. And the side of the pool was held up by a plastic chair (with a note on a paper plate saying not to remove the chair I guess because then the pool would collapse which obviously makes it very unsafe).
Once we got to the residence the garbage and recycling cans were full (even though the housekeeping service were just getting done with cleaning the house). I messaged Glenda right away to let her know there was garbage still left over. I also tried calling her cell phone provided on the site and did not get an answer. I waited over 24 hours and had to reach out to VRBO customer service and they were also unsuccessful at getting in touch with the owner/manager at that time. After some time had passed I finally got a message about the garbage and was advised that it would be taken care of (which it was by the end of the next day). I also asked about the wifi password right after I messaged about the garbage and never received that. There was no booklet/welcome binder with the property/area information like many rentals I have stayed at.
Even though the house was renovated you could tell it was old. There were many spiders/spider webs in the corners of the ceiling/wall. So we had to walk around wipe them all off before we settled in. Lastly one night we were hanging out in the living room and saw a mouse running from behind the fireplace across the living room into one of the hallway closest. Then another one. I wouldn’t usually care about this kind of thing but we had small children with us so immediately I felt very uncomfortable. I know it’s newly renovated and the owner just started renting it so hopefully they fix and address the issues prior to their next renters. The owner definitely needs to work on responding to renters because if we truly had an emergency we wouldn’t be able to get in touch with anyone as her voicemail when I called.
8 Adults stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed our time. It was hot, so the ACs in every room helped keep us comfortable. We visited Lake George for 2 days. The Kitchen accommodated 8 people and the patio was used as well. There is also a deck with seating that was great. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice newly renovated place.
The cottage was very clean located in a nice quiet neighborhood. The property owner/manager very hospitable and accommodating. My husband and I would definitely come back and highly recommend the place.
