House is old but very well maintained. Plenty of toys for the grandkids. We had 12 staying and with a couple twin air mattress’s we were very comfortable. We were in town for my mom’s 90th birthday so didn’t spend much time at the house. Would stay again if we needed to.
Had a great stay. David was easy to contact when needed.

What I liked was that it was great for two couples to stay in instead of a hotel. You have a spacious clean house with all of the necessary amenities available. Although we had no children it was kid friendly. The host was most gracious. He was always in communication making sure we got in ok and gave me his number in case there were any issues. We were invited to visit the farm and he accommodated our availability. It was so fun seeing all of the animals taking a walk and having a buggy ride. The host was very friendly and answered a lot of questions. I could go on and on. This will be our go to from now on should it be available. I’m so happy we stayed here!!!
We loved it! Clean and made great memories. The host were very kind.

The info on the listing was wrong. Listed as a 5 bedroom but instead had '5 beds'. Also listed with a Hot Tub but no hot tub. They are remodeling and the attic bedroom was in the middle of two unfinished rooms. To access bedrooms, kitchen, and bathroom you have to climb step steps to a second floor. To access a bedroom in the attic you have to climb very steep steps with no handrail. Window AC units had a difficult time keeping up with the very hot day. The main floor (where you walk in the door /no steps) had a family room with a pull out couch and a 2nd single couch with no AC. The kitchen was very clean but bathroom and bedrooms seemed very dingy.

Wonderful stay! Seamless check-in and checkout. We booked our stay initially for the Lantern Festival but also visited the Kitchen Kettle Village as suggested by our hosts David and Ester who are both very kind. We were going to visit their farm and buggy ride the following day but we were all tuckered out from exploring and the festival. (It gives us a reason to return!) Instead, we grabbed a bite at the Speckled Hen (which is also kid / family friendly) has cool playground and headed back home. Our stay was a home away from home. Thank you and see you next time!

We loved our stay at the farmhouse and visiting the lovely family that owns it! We will be back!
The property was very clean, and the location couldn’t have been better. We are in the center of everything that we wanted to do. David, the host, was great and it was a pleasure spending time with him and his family. Hope to come back again soon.

Not up to expected VRBO standards
The biggest issue about this property for me is that it was poorly represented in the listing. This is the upstairs and attic space of a 100+ year old house. And the fit-and-finish of the space is rough.
On arrival, the place was cold (the heat was turned way down). Heat is registers with controls in each room. Two rooms were not working and we found the breaker was off for them. The thermostats were awkward and not particularly precise. One of them was very difficult to adjust.
There are 3 bedrooms, but, one of them is in a attic space. Useable, but not particularly nice. And while the listing indicated 3 BRs, the text claimed 4 (which is NOT the case). The attic also had two additional unfinished rooms that were being used for storing stuff.
The number of beds was not well represented. One was a child's bed and would not be appropriate for an adult.
The windows are single pane. And the road noise in the front bedroom that faces the road is excessive and can wake you up at night. For a country road, it receives a lot of night time traffic.
The downstairs is occupied by a family that includes at least one adult male that likes to shout.
Parking is tight and shared with tenant. We barely fit 2 cars in.
The entire place seem musty and not entirely clean. Maybe that's the age of the building, but it still detracted from our stay.
Pros: Good wi-fi, well equipped kitchen, easy check-in/out
Clean and comfortable 3-bedroom rental. Easy check-in and attentive property owners. The kitchen, was well-equipped with appliances and utensils. Our stay was truly enjoyable, and we would eagerly choose this property for future visits.
Our experience was very pleasant. The house is not luxurious, it is a farmhouse but it contains all the basic necessities. The owner Dave and his family, were very friendly, willing to answer any of our questions and were overall very attentive, sweet and welcoming. If you want a luxurious stay this is not the place for you, however, we would again highly recommend this place.
Listen to the horse buggies going by, enjoy a fire in the fire pit. Then make your way down quaint, villages along winding roads to visit the farm. This family goes out of their way to allow you into their lives, ride in a buggy, pet the horses and more. If you are looking for a family friendly excursion, this is it!
It was like staying at your Aunt Judy’s house. The home is clean and welcoming with a down home feel. We had the best time visiting the farm and getting to know the family. Will visit again as we made friends.
Was just as described. Wasn’t there long enough to figure out if had to have a certain light switch on to get outlets to work, but we figured out pretty well. So very happy we were able to go

Not quite as expected
Everything that you would expect a place to have is there and works to one degree or another.
To be more accurate, I think the listing should mention that this a second and third floor apartment and that while it is in the middle of farm country, the house is close on a busy road.

Loved this appt located right in the middle of Amish community! Kids loved the sound of horse buggies going by (so many of them every day). David the owner was very helpful and his family is polite and lovely. We had a great time both staying at the appt and visiting his farm. As in the other reviews the appt is old, but well furnished and very spacious for a family of seven (2 adults 5 kids). All the appliances (fridge, washer, and dryer especially) were helpful to make ourselves home, and we would love to stay again!

Our grandsons loved reliable internet, TV and sleeping. I loved having a refrigerator to give them cereal and milk before checking out and to keep food cool awaiting our trip home - had to buy local corn and tomatoes!

not actual Pic of property .
Its an upstars apt. Third bedroom in attic . parking in Gravel in back of the building . must be able to use Stairs .
Very clean appt. David the host was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Our visit to his farm was fun with a buggy ride and fishing. His family is charming and helpful. Thy suggested good restaurants and things to do. Appt. could use some updates but overall a great experience.
