Very nice place to stay!

We had 12 people, ages 1-57 and had a wonderful time! The cabin was big enough for everyone and had plenty of games to keep kids occupied. I would suggest if you’re bringing a curious little one to pack baby gates (at least one) and outlet covers (not complaining they weren’t there but it would’ve helped to already have them!) overall, we had a wonderful stay and loved seeing all the wildlife

So many bears!!

Our group absolutely loved this cabin! We had plenty of room for 10 adults and still had extra space. One of the mornings, two bear cubs climbed up to the second story and walked around! Also, please be aware that the driveway is incredibly steep! We will absolutely be booking this house again, we had the best time here.

Very spacious

We overall enjoyed our stay . Plenty of room to relax. The jets in the hot tub didn’t work . Most of the remotes were missing batteries and the propane tanks were empty . Just little annoying things . We saw 2 bear cubs

Great for Family gathering

We enjoyed our stay greatly. Plently of room for our family of 10. Never felt crowded always somewhere to be alone if desired. Short of plates, cups and silverware. Regular visits from bears. Drive in and out is STEEP.

So many issues with this house!!!! Don't bother complaining because it doesn't help

It would have been a wonderful stay if everything was working right and the cleaning crew had done their job.

Look out for bears!

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The property was clean and comfortable with plenty of room for large families. We had 2 visits from a bear who climbed on the lower deck and approached us in the driveway. If you’re looking for a quiet place to stay away from from the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, this is it.

A weekend to remember

Our extended family of 10 had a blast in this cabin. There was PLENTY of space for all of us to spread out (3 full floors), tv's and electric fireplaces galore. We enjoyed the 2nd floor porch area with the firetop tables, hot tub and swing...great space to watch the daily visits of the bears below. The ground level has a dart board, game area, pool table and giant couch in front of the big screen tv and fireplace....great gathering space (in addition to the one on the 2nd floor). Our beds and bedding were comfy and cozy, the hot water heater kept up with all our showering needs and the house itself is beautiful. We will definitely book again...so peaceful! Thanks. Giving 4 outta 5 stars because of some minor issues that can be easily rectified.

Great Stay

The cabin was large and gave our family of 9 plenty of space to spread out. Not too far from things to do. The drive up to the cabin is very steep.

This house was like a slice of heaven. The views were amazing. House had sooo much room to completely relax. Yes- steep road-however, totally worth it the moment you entered the home. Just a little issue with TV in great room - otherwise, perfect. Thank you for allowing us to stay at this beautiful home. Great for small & large families. 🤗

So disappointed

Beautiful cabin clean however, the electrical in this cabin is very dangerous lights flicker. The breaker gets tripped. The hot tub has two working jets and that’s it. The plumbing under the sink isn’t connected properly. We found this out after having the dishwasher flood the kitchen and then washing dishes by hand letting the water out. It flooded all over the kitchen also. The stove is glass top and where you press the button buttons to turn it on and off and work, the oven caves in. The door to the workout room doesn’t lock the TV and the little kids cabin doesn’t come on at all. on the brighter side, they do keep in touch with you but nothing gets fixed or done they refunded not even a quarters worth of what one day cost to rent it. Very poor communication after you check out and want answers to a more reasonable refund

Would definitely rent this cabin again

We were having a family reunion with my grown kids and young grandkids - 8 adults and 2 children. The house was a perfect size for our group. Having the bedrooms spread among the three levels gave everyone their own space, and the common areas were big enough for us all to eat, watch movies, sit on the deck, etc together. The kids enjoyed the play area outside. The adults enjoyed the pool table, dart boards, gym, etc. The house was clean and equipped with everything we needed. The surroundings were beautiful and the view from the deck was amazing. It's a steep drive up the mountain to the cabin but only takes a few minutes from the main road. The only drawbacks were that the hot tub needed some TLC. And the PacMan game didn't work. Overall, we loved the house. If we return to the area, we would for sure try to get Bear Cub Crossing again. Highly recommend.

Bears!

The evening of our arrival we saw a Mama Bear and her four cubs, up close! The next morning we saw a different Mama and Five cubs, right off the balcony, playing and romping around (I suggest looking out the window before heading to your car😜)! There were 12 of us and plenty of seating. Lots of activities. The washer/dryer and four bathrooms was a plus! As long as Vacasa took care of the repairs, it is a great place to stay! The kids cabin is so cute and fun (bring some play kitchen stuff). There was a bag of new darts sitting on the bench -thumbs up! The chalkboard was taken down; a plus for us since blue chalk doesn't come out of anything. Lol Be aware, the drive to the cabin is very... Steep, narrow, and NOT for the faint of heart. Expect a few adrenaline rushes on the way in and out. I suggest four wheel drive, but we made it in a mini-van and Lincoln as long as it was dry. Nice cabin for a family stay and getaway!
