No sleep
Property is in a nice location and the property manager was very easy to communicate with and helpful, however the house needs a LOT of work and improvements before it should be listed on Vrbo. Let’s start with the furniture, the couches were extremely difficult to sit on for more than 15 minutes at a time (they obviously came straight out of Goodwill) the bed was different than the one in the picture, the actual bed was smaller and lumpy, me and my wife had a hard time sleeping on the bed even with all the extra pillows,sleeping on the couch wasn’t any better.
The kitchen had minimum utensils which made it extremely difficult to cook. The windows and doors need to be replaced as we could hear people walking around outside as if all the windows and doors were wide open, ( you can actually see thru a 1/4” crack on the jamb by the front door.)
The laundry was also out of order. After 5 nights of trying to get used to the bed we finally moved out and got a hotel for the rest of our stay. Now for the points that were good, the shower was great, the interior of the house was clean, the food at the local pizza shop was phenomenal, the property manager was great to work with,
The owner of the property just needs to spend a bunch more money on the house before he can receive better ratings.
I believe in giving everyone a honest review and I don’t enjoy doing this review on this house but it is what it is, there are certain standards that need to be followed if you want to list your house on Vrbo. It didn’t ruin our honeymoon, just kept us from sleeping to much
