This is our second stay here in this beautiful house. The house is immaculate and has everything you need for a peaceful and restful vacation. The view is so awesome that it’s hard to tear yourself away to explore the coast! We couldn’t ask for a better place to enjoy all that central coast Oregon has to offer. We will be back!
We enjoyed our stay at this cute home. The beach views were amazing! There was a bay window upstairs with cozy pillows that we spent a couple of hours on while watching the ocean and relaxing. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen had all that we needed. My husband spent some time looking at the stars and ocean through the telescope in the living room. It’s a very short drive to the beach which wasn’t too crowded and even had a cave to go through to get to another beach. The host was good to communicate with us and kind to work with. We would definitely stay again!
We loved the property! We thought it was a little closer to the ocean than the pictures showed. But the view is seriously beautiful! We didn’t realize there was no cell service in Oceanside so had to drive back to Tillamook to figure out our directions to the house.

Exactly what we had hoped for - fabulous view and the sound of the surf in a relaxing setting!!
Property was clean, well appointed and soooo relaxing
We loved the location and the multiple viewing spots to sit and enjoy the Oregon coast. The place was well stocked and in good order. Owner was responsive for access and the home was clean and welcoming. On approach, do go to the end of the street as directed - the addresses are not in typical sequential order.
We had a wonderful and relaxing December stay. Moderate temperatures and no crowds to contend with.
Views as advertised. Very comfortable home with a great kitchen.
Highly recommended.
This was the perfect location for our 25th wedding anniversary. Great views and loved the deck. Having lunch on dining room table and viewing whales surfacing in the near distance was great. I couldn’t have asked for a better location.
I would have to say this was the best house we’ve stayed with the best view since coming to the Oregon coast every year! Everything was perfect, clean and comfortable! We will be coming back next year! Thank you!
The old real estate adage could be used here: View, view, view. This is a fantastic location with an unparalleled view of the Oregon Coast. The photos give an idea, but seeing it in person is even better. The home is comfortable and well-appointed, with two functional and attractive sitting areas. The beds are comfortable, It's secluded, near the end of its road; there are only two properties beyond it, and we never saw anyone at either while we were there. The owner is a pleasure to work with and is very responsive. She clearly cares about her property and her guests.
Oceanside is a little out of the way, and there are limited (though very good) eating options close by, and Tillamook is a short drive away. Oceanside Beach is a jewel and is easily accessible. And it's a good base for short drives up and down the coast.
We've stayed at several rental properties as a couple, and this is the only one we've ever returned to; it's that good. We would happily come back every year.
We have stayed at MANY VRBO properties. This is very likely the most comfortable, well appointed home we have visited. There are GOOD knives (wonderful!) Very thoughtfully appointed for a comfortable visit. You have done a great job with this place, Tara, thank you for sharing it with us!

Absolutely fabulous
Extraordinary view, beautiful house, excellent all the way around. We are planning to come back.
Waking up to the ocean, sea lions and beautiful scenery is priceless. Location to so many coastal Oregon treasures was wonderful. Rough around the edges in regards to dust all over and musty furniture in the upstairs.
Loved the view, location. Everything we could need in the kitchen which was nice. Options for eating out a bit limited. But we came just before tourist season really started. We were really needing a quiet getaway and very happy with choice. Thank you for sharing your home.
This home felt like we were on top of the world- being on top of the mountain but at the beach at the same time. It was peaceful, restful and secluded, 2nd to last home at the end of the road. Hostess was responsive to our questions and needs. Home was amply supplied with linens, blankets, pillows and kitchen appliances and utensils. The view out the large picture windows was stellar and unsurpassed- mega iconic Oregon Coast rocks, Oceanside Beach and Pacific Ocean. It was a short drive to Cape Lookout State Park. The flat, sandy beach there was perfect for our game of croquet. The wind over at Tunnel Beach was perfect for flying our durable and well-designed kite, that we had bought at Kimmel True Value Hardware Store in Tillamook. We highly recommend this home and its location for refreshing your spirit.
Advice: if you come to the beach in the summer, definitely bring your sunbrella and/or sunscreen.

About the host
Hosted by Tara OKeeffe
I am a Central Oregon native that has always appreciated the contrasting climate that the Oregon coast offers.
Why they chose this property
I've been a huge fan of Oceanside since I discovered it in 1972, and have never found a nicer spot on the Oregon coast. This is my own home, which I visit often, not the usual 'rental unit'.
What makes this property unique
This home offers end of road privacy and an unbeatable view from above the tiny hamlet of Oceanside. All you will hear is the roar of the surf and there is no traffic.
