The Hepp’s Hideaway is a two bedroom, one bath cabin nestled in the Shooting Creek Community surrounded by the Blue Ridge mountains in Hayesville, NC. Great for couples or small families. Spend your time rocking on the front porch or enjoy the various outdoor activities that Hayesville, NC and the surrounding areas have to offer. The cabin is near Lake Chatuge which has swimming, boating, and fishing. The Jack Rabbit Trails has several trails for hiking, trail running, and mountain biking. Also explore the various waterfalls in the area. The cabin is a short distance to Hiawassee, GA, Murphy, NC, and Franklin, NC, which is a scenic drive through the Nantahala National Forest. The cabin is surrounded by numerous trees with a Mountain View beyond the trees. We have deer in the area and we are surrounded by public hunting land. The road in front of the cabin is gravel (not steep) but an easy drive up the mountain approximately 30 yards from the beginning of the road and into the carport.

It was a beautiful cabin and a wonderful stay. Everything was clean, organized, and the cabin was stocked with all the essentials. I can’t wait for our next stay.
We had a relaxing four days at Hepps Hideway. We stayed here to attend a concert at the Georgia Mountain Fair. Very clean and comfortable and great location. We plan to stay again soon.
Beautiful property with everything you need! Great location, only about 20 minutes from Hiawasee, we hiked High Shoals, went to Bell Mountain and Brasstown Bald. Built a fire the first night and enjoyed the cute town in Hayesville and their restaurants. Highly recommend Angelo's if you want some good pizza and Fat Dogs sports bar was good too! An overall WONDERFUL trip!
Loved the cabin and its location, easy access to towns, seen many deer mornings and evenings, very quiet location, would rent this cabin again, you will not be dissatified!
We had a wonderful time just hanging at the cabin and enjoying being away from everything. The location was great because we were able to zip down to GA for some adventuring, or pop into town and hang with the locals. We can't wait to go back!
The cabin was perfect. It was just the 2 of us and we had more than enough space. It was clean and homey and we had zero complaints! Thank you <3
LOVED this cabin. Super clean. Had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Brought our family as a starting Kindergarten trip for our grand daughter. Enjoyed hiking at Jackrabbit Mountain and the proximity to Lake Chatuge was great. Would recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to get away for a relaxing stay.
Easy to follow directions to the cabin. Once there easy access to gain entry into the cabin. Large refrigerator with ice maker. Nice little cabin to relax in. Rockers on the front porch got plenty of use. Sat out there and watched the deer, birds, and squirrels with a nice adult beverage. Bed was comfortable to sleep in. Easy instructions for Wi-Fi and tv. Host has pretty much got everything covered to make your stay enjoyable.
One of the highlights was when the power company came in the neighborhood with a helicopter with a long hanging pole saw and, on the powerline the right of way 300' behind the cabin, trimmed the trees back from the powerline. It was a sight to see.
Thank you had a great stay.
Best two nights of sleep I have had in a long time. Please tell me the brand of the mattress on the king size bed. Also, whether it was hard, soft or medium. Only area I thought could use some improvement is the areas around the house. All the plants were dead, some pretty flowers would have been nice. Also a lot of dead bugs on the front porch. Thanks for sharing you place with us.
We had been looking for a place too celebrate the holiday in the mountains.
We were delighted to find this perfect spot for our holiday weekend.
We will definitely return very soon !
The cabin was very clean and cozy! Totally set up for any needs. Full kitchen, plenty of linens and blankets.. couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you!
