Family beach trip

Wonderful place to stay. A home away from home. My family felt completely comfortable in this space. The beach, shoppes, and restaurants all close by. Small hiccup with cleaning /linens, but was resolved quickly. Thank you Nancy!

Great Location

This place was wonderful! The house is brand new and very nice. Everything was right. The location was perfect not too far from the beach. Stores are very close and there is even a park near by.

Nice modern home

Only about 5 minutes from the inlet and about 15 from the Dewey restaurants. The house the beautiful and very convenient! Parking is the only difficulty, so try to carpool.

Beautiful place conveniently located

Beautiful new development in Bethany. Surprisingly large townhome and lovely community pool perfect for families. The sun deck in the pool and large steps are ideal for little kids swimming around. It’s not large but we preferred that. Very quiet area conveniently across from grocery store and 5 min drive to beach/downtown. Would definitely rent again!

Wonderful Week in Bethany!

Thank you Nancy for being such an attentive and wonderful host. Our week was very enjoyable and relaxing. The home exceeded our expectations. From the cleanliness, to the well stocked kitchen and overall spaciousness of the house, we were so pleased. As soon as you walk through the door, you can see and feel the pride of ownership with this property. The pool was a nice bonus after a day at the beach. We will be back next year. The beds were very comfortable and it was so nice to have the linens and towels provided. Last but not least, the balconies are a nice place to chat or enjoy a game of cards on the table with the kids! Thank you again Nancy for allowing us to make memories!!

Left it cleaner than we found it

Stayed here in July ‘24 with wife and 3 kids aged 3, 9 and 13. Check in is regularly 4pm. Planned to arrive around 10/11 am to avoid traffic on long drive and requested early check in (5-6 hours earlier than normal check in). Owner wanted to charge me 1/2 the daily rate. Had to negotiate and was still overcharged but agreed to pay as my families need outweighed owners greed. Unit was dirty. We all took our shoes off at front door and the kids white socks were literally black from the dirty floor within minutes. There were cobwebs in almost all corners of the unit and dust was everywhere from the furniture and light sconces to the curtains and fake plant leaves. Some of the window sills also served as the final resting place for dead flies and other insects. Living room rug had a nasty stain on it as did the couch cushion Some of the bedroom pillows also had gross yellow stains on them. There was also a rotten/spoiled smell coming from the second floor hallway near the washer/dryer. Upon inspection, an article of clothing was left behind the machine. Who knows how long someone else’s dirty laundry was left to rot there! The refrigerator water filter and air filter replacement indicator light was actively on when we checked in so ice and drinking water wasn’t an option for duration of stay. Broken chair on terrace and rechargeable tv remote without charging cable left in bedroom uncharged. Didn’t get 2 towels per bath as advertised. Not a very nice touch.

Highly Recommended/Clean/Close to Beach

We stayed at this home for July 4th weekend and enjoyed this home for the following reason. * Host is very responsive and to the point/welcoming. No fuss there. * Home is exactly as its pictured - No Surprises * Close to beach - 5-6 minutes drive (has Hamptons feel). You can also bike all the way to the beach. There is a trail all across the community and roads have bike lane to allow you to ride your bike. We saw tons of people riding the bike. The trail around the community is great for morning walk with kids, pets or running. * Grocery store is right across the street and you can just walk there to grab anything. * Home was clean, linens were clean. Dishwasher, Coffeemaker and washer were all brand new/clean. * All the bedrooms/bathroom were clean. Biggest plus was each bedroom had bathroom. All the bathrooms were decent size and closets to allow you to use that space. * 3 bedrooms which provided a lot of space for 3 families to stay without any space issues. our kids are not infants anymore but bedroom would allow you to place pack/play. * Dining Table and connecting Living room had sufficient space to play games. * Couch is very comfortable as well. * Kayaking place was right near by. * House is closest to Bethany which is perfect for relaxing time with family which has lots of restaurants, area to walk around, shops. Its a very beautiful/cute little town. * Dewey beach is a short drive 15 minutes * Rehoboth is about 25 minutes or so drive. It seems far but its really not since you are driving right by the main road which leads you to this beach. There are also tons of activities for kids there as well. * This house also has a small community pool which is actually hard to find in that area. Overall, we would stay at this home again next time because it was clean, allows us to feel at home and we felt like we were right in between all the things but not too far. We've stayed at many homes in the past and by far this is the best home and other families we went with have agreed to same. Thank you for hosting us.

Still needs some work

I will start with the positives of the property. The TH is brand new and very large. It was beautifully decorated, had alot of natural light and easily accommodated five of us. We were walking distance to a large grocery store which was also very nice and convenient. The house is approximately a 5-7 min drive to the beach and Bethany's boardwalk. All of these are good things. I was very frustrated however, with a few other aspects of the property. We arrived at 4pm (check-in time) and went into the house to find the beds were not made. Clean sheets were laying (folded) on each bed and we had to make the beds ourselves. For the amount that we paid for this house- it should've been done for us. Also, towels were not provided - which is frustrating. Typically we know to bring our own beach towels but it surprised me that hand towels and bath towels weren't provided. Needless to say it was a huge inconvenience to have to worry about the beds and towels when we arrived late in the afternoon (per the check-in time) --which was after a long drive. Everyone was tired and ready to relax- not get the rental property ready for our own use. And lastly soap was not provided. Again for the money being paid- these things should be provided and WOULD be provided if we had stayed in a hotel. Lastly, because the house is new- it still needs some furniture- ie- a dresser in the upstairs loft bedroom- as there was no place to unpack our clothes, appropriate size curtains in the loft bedroom as they didn't close all the way, TV's are needed in both of the master suites, more lamps in the bedrooms, etc. Also, as a side note, the host had us flip the laundry from the washer to the dryer when we arrived and take in some of her packages. This wouldn't have been a big deal if some of the other things had been taken care of. We also found an old opened tube of Pringles and a used paper towel under one of the beds when we were putting sheets on the beds. So a better cleaning job would be ideal. For now- I give this property a 3 out of 5 stars. Once some of these other things have been addressed I have no doubt that the property will be very highly rated.

Very clean and nice property, however it has some flaws

Title pretty much says it all! It was nice, clean, and was a pretty big house for 10 Adults to live in. However, we soon found out so flaws that needed to be addressed ASAP. Those being that the room with the queen bed. That door for the bedroom does not close properly and would not lock, I took a look myself and the hinge wasn't even going into the slot. The other is in the same room, but this time the bathrooom door. The bathroom door DOES lock, BUT the insert where the knob connects to have contact with the wood is broken inside, therefore whenever you even gave a bit of force into the door even when it's locked, it would still open. Looking aside from these flaws, I would stay here again whenever I get the chance to!

Perfect vacation home

Beautiful setup with three large bedrooms and wonderful kitchen/shared living space. Garage perfect to store bicycles. Pool was a huge bonus. Completely recommend.

This place was beautiful and very clean.

There were a couple items listed in the ad that were not in the house. Sent a message and the renters responded with in a hour and brought the items to us. Great place to stay!
