Explore the scenic scenery around you together or pack your clubs and hit the fairway after a short drive to White River Golf Course. Try one of the local restaurants before heading back to your vacation retreat to wind down.

Inside, the home features three levels of comfort and convenience, the main level boasting an attractive open concept that encompasses the living, dining, and kitchen areas. After a day of hot-weather hiking or some winter action, you can kick back in the living room to catch up with old friends or head into the sitting room to pluck a book off the private library shelves. The kids can spread out some of the provided board games while the wood-burning stove keeps the home nice and toasty. Throw a good record on the turntable then head into the full kitchen to prepare a delicious meal for everyone to savor at the dining table with seating for six.

You can use the private gas grill to host those fun outdoor barbecues on the deck. Don't worry about stains - the private washer and dryer will easily knock out whatever the kids pick up while they eat. Downstairs, you'll find a spacious entertainment area featuring comfortable furniture, a TV, and a work desk for remote workers with and students to handle those last-minute tasks as this property has recently been upgraded with fiber optic internet. When evening falls, gather everyone around the firepit to toast some S'mores and enjoy an evening of stargazing.

Cozy and comfortable ski destination

This house in the woods was perfect for our ladies weekend of skiing, eating, books and a fire. Betting was good, internet was fast. The road and driveway DEFINATELY needed 4 wheel drive in the mud. We went to Sugarbush (45 min) but killington was closer, about 15 min away. The road dead ends at Green Mountain Forrest and you could hear the river.

Do not rent this home.

This home is managed by a rental company called Vacasa, do not rent a property from them. Our stay was a disaster. From the start, the property management and Vacasa demonstrated shocking negligence. The driveway was a complete mess – unplowed and with buried markers, making it incredibly dangerous to navigate after 44 hour snow fall. Our vehicles struggled, and one even got stuck. A plow eventually came, but only did half the job the morning we checked out, essentially trapping us. The morning of the snowfall Vacasa was contacted, but could not give adequate answer as to when a plow would come. Inside, things weren't much better. The dryer didn't work, and we were left with barely any supplies. There was a dead bug infestation, which was just gross, and to top it all off, the propane tank for the BBQ was left on from previous guests, creating a serious fire hazard. It's clear that basic property maintenance and guest safety are not a priority here. This experience was completely unacceptable. We were not only severely inconvenienced but also genuinely concerned for our safety. The only person helpful was the property runner but he could only do so much. Don't waste your money on this property

We had a fun-filled week of skiing and relaxing in this lovely house. It was clean and fairly well stocked with what we needed. There were plenty of towels and extra bedding along with plates, utensils, pots, pans, and a coffee maker. There was a significant snowstorm while we were there and we were pleasantly surprised that the driveway was plowed in a very timely manner. A few things to consider...the house is located 2 miles down a dirt road. The road is well-maintained, but 4-wheel drive is a necessity especially as the ground thaws and it becomes very muddy. The wi-fi was unreliable at best. Our son had to go to a local hotel to do his homework online and often texts/calls did not come through or go out immediately. There is no cell service for several miles once you leave the house. It is about 25 minutes from Killington Mountain and at least that far from a large grocery store. There is a charming general store at the end of the road along with a gas station/convenience store. There are also many restaurants within 30 minutes. Overall, we had a great stay, but wish the wi-fi had been more reliable.

Great ski rental! Close to all Killington Fun

We stayed here for a friends weekend in February 2023. The house was very clean when we arrived and has spacious common areas (perfect for dinner and board games with large groups.) The wood burning fireplace was great considering temperatures got below zero the weekend of our stay, we were toasty warm all through the night. The cubbies in the entryway function as great ski and snowboard storage as many of us hit the mountain during Saturday and Sunday. Overall this place was comfortable for all of us, with great proximity to nearby country stores, and a quick drive to pickle barrel and Killington for slopeside fun! I would reccommend this host and house.

very bed management

1-Out of three days, the two-day entire house was out of the water including a washroom. We all suffered a lot including kids. 2-when we plan for the barbeque, within 5 min gas cylinder was empty, and that plan was also ruined. I did not received any contact detail of caretaker so i reachout to helpdesk but water issue was not resolve till i checkout form property.

The house was beautifully appointed, plenty of sleeping options and right in the middle of some of the most beautiful scenery in America. Loved it!
