Catalina three bedroom plus small bonus room, two bath relaxation home with a new 2022 EzGo Freedom Elite Lithium four person Electric Golf Cart, Hot Tub, BBQ and Fire Table. One of the few homes in Avalon with central AC and heat. Home is located in the hill section of Avalon. This home has ramps for easy access with no stairs if desired.



This home comfortably sleeps a max of six guests and is in a quiet residential area. No parties or events are allowed at this home. This home is perfect for families and guests wanting a quiet relaxing getaway. Each bedroom has a queen bed plus a small bonus room with a twin bed.

The large backyard has a 115 Jet Hot Tub that is amazing for relaxing after a long day walking around the city. Hot tub has as easily lift for cover open/close. Please note hot tub hours are 9 AM to 9 PM out of respect for our neighbors. Situated above the hot tub is a six person fire dining table and Webber Genesis BBQ. Both are hard lined to natural gas; no need to worry about propane refills. There are casual seating areas in the backyard and on front patio.

This is a SCUBA diver friendly home with areas to wash and store dive gear. We are divers ourselves as well. With the golf cart it is easy to take two divers / gear to casino point at a time. Multiple trips will be needed for additional divers.

The living room has a 65” TV with popular streaming apps, electric reclining couch, chaise couch, wine bar, and two work/eating Counters. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs and has a coffee maker with option for K-Cups or Drip Coffee.

The master bedroom has a walk-in large shower, TV with popular streaming apps, Queen Bed with Drawers and two closets. There is a pack-in-play in the closet.

The second Jack/Jill style bathroom has a Jetted Tub, and gorgeous tile surround. There is a washer/dryer located next to the bathroom

The middle bedroom has a large chest of drawers, TV, and a Queen Bed. This bedroom has quick access to the second bathroom.

The front bedroom has a queen bed, TV, and attached access to shared bathroom.

There is a very small room off the living room that we have provided a Twin XL bed for flexible sleeping arrangements.

There are multiple USB Power plugs throughout the house. Wi-Fi is also available in all areas of the home. There are two cameras located at front Entry and Front of House. Home uses Noiseaware decibel metering technology to alert of loud parties. We appreciate you helping us to be a good neighbor for the year round residents of Avalon.

Rental agreement for use of hot tub and golf cart needs to be signed after booking.

The Perfect Avalon House

2nd time staying at this house and it truly is the perfect house in Avalon. Everything you would need - 3.5 BRs, 2 full bathrooms, great kitchen, outdoor grill and fire table, private hot tub (a rarity in Avalon) and an electric golf cart to get around. So much better than staying in a room in a hotel, for us. It's up the hill a bit so not right on the waterfront in Avalon, but a quick trip down the hill with a golf cart, or over to Descanso Beach or the golf course if you like. If you're looking for a private, relaxing getaway in Avalon, this is your place. Book it while it's available.

A gem in Catalina!

We had an amazing time at this lovely property. It’s situated just outside of the downtown area and is very peaceful. The rooms were a nice size and the beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was well appointed and the furniture was comfy. The hot tub was amazing and we loved spending time on the lower deck. Having a golf cart included was the best part since the home is on a hill and it made going in and out of town a breeze. We can’t wait to stay here again - highly highly recommend!!

Perfect home base to stay and explore Catalina

This unit was perfectly appointed. Fantastic communication by our hosts. Lovely inside. Great hot tub and the golf cart access made getting around town super easy. We would love to visit Catalina again and make this our vacation home away from home.

Just right, in so many ways!

Just far enough from town to not be noisy, but close enough to walk. The deluxe golf cart was a help for those who didn't want to climb the hill, and we were also able to explore much more in it. The hot tub had so many jets and good privacy. We appreciated the ramp to enter and the carefully laid out floorpan that accommodated our group of 6 adults. Every chair and bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook most of our meals. We hope to return someday!

Accurate and "On the Mark"

Five stars all the way. The hot tub was awesome as were the outdoor features. The beds were comfy and wonderful as was the unit which was very well appointed. TVs were awesome!! Steve, our host, was professional, courteous and "On the Mark" for qualifying as an outstanding host in my humble opinion. You won't go wrong booking this unit.

Thanksgiving 2024

After watching My Octopus Teacher on Netflix, my young sons were determined to experience kelp and snorkeling like in the movie. Catalina was that dream come true. We were freezing after each swim in the ocean, but this amazing house had a hot tub where we would warm up within minutes. Grandma & Grandpa used the golf cart to explore around town, and would come back to house for relaxing naps and meals. The TV is incredible! Every channel and option known to man -- we watched episodes of favorite shows from the 80s and enjoyed a movie together each night! This house provided for the best vacation I have had in years; we are grateful to the owners. It is the perfect house for families. My only suggestion would be to add a few beach towels maybe! Thank you!

Great place with wonderful outdoor spaces!

Wonderful three bedroom plus small bonus room that we used for our 1-year-olds bedroom. Loved having the outdoor dining table and sofa, in addition to the small front porch. The golf cart was so handy, and we enjoyed cruising around Avalon.

I loved everything. This property was the best. I disliked having to create a vrbo account - so I didnt (and I guess that makes communication with the host more difficult). But thats a vrbo/expedia issue. The host and the property were TOP SHELF! A Would love to return again.

Great property for a family getaway!

From check-in to check-out, our stay was comfortable and very pleasant for the duration of our trip. Property manager is excellent and timely with communication and accommodated our bag holding needs as well as any and all questions we had. The home itself was clean and had all of the amenities we were hoping for. Proximity to town couldn’t be beat and the golf cart makes grocery runs and exploring easy and extremely convenient! Thank you!

A great House

The house was very clean, bedrooms super comfortable, the patio was perfect, the kids loved the jacuzzi, plenty of left over sand toys. House was well stocked w coffee, spices, and great pots & pans. The AC was central throughout the house, but really no need. The windows new, no noise. Big shower in MB. Plus, a great golf cart for running around. .The owner very accommodating!

Ideal Family Getaway!

Hilltop cottage with more than enough space to spread out for gathering for spa time, reading & conversations around the outdoor fire! Start with coffee on the front balcony with a view of the neighborhood and end the day with happy hour in the shaded back patio and the evening with a soak in the 6 seater jacuzzi! The golf cart was great for trips to the store and to cruise the hills to take in all the breath-taking views! Walk-in shower was a favorite as well as having a washer/dryer and fully loaded kitchen! With 3 Queens and 1 twin bed bed this home is ideal for a family of 6 or 5-6 friends if they don’t mind sharing their sleep with someone! Would advise that the hill is steep for walking to and from town so be aware that you’ll need the golf cart to get around if someone has physical limitations. Will be booking again for sure!

Perfect and ABA compliant

Best place we stayed in Catalina. Super nice and had overly everything we needed for our stay. We appreciated it having a golf cart and being ABA compliant, which really helped our family with a child and a wheelchair. we never had to contact anyone and there was no problems. Thank you for making our stay the best.

We loved the location and house. Quiet neighborhood. There was a spacious outdoor space and living room area for the family. Loved the golf cart to get back and forth from Descanso Beach. We would recommend and definitely will stay here again!

Awesome house for families

Awesome stay. Golf cart helped us get around the island with the family! Great spa, great outdoor areas. We ate dinner every night at the fire pit table. Very responsive through vrbo app. Everything we needed was at the house and more!

Perfect House in Avalon

Really, the title says it all. Great little house up on the hill in Avalon. 4 bedrooms. Quiet and peaceful. Private hot tub (hard to get in Avalon). Grill. Electric golf cart (no gas needed). Large smart TV. Check-in was a breeze. So much better than staying in a hotel. One of those places that you hope no one else finds out about because it's too good. But, of course, now I've spilled the beans. :) We loved it! Hope to stay here again.

Catalina Paradise

The house was perfect! Nice layout, updated and had everything we needed. It felt like home. We brought our small dog and it was perfect for him too. Great jacuzzi (we have one just like it at our home!) The golf cart made the stay really convenient for going to the grocery store, touring the Island and going places with our dog. The home has televisions in every room, you couldn't ask for a more family friendly home even though it was just me, my husband and our furr baby. The neighborhood was quiet. Everything was perfect.I highly recommend!

This was a little slice of heaven. All of the little details (wireless chargers, Kurig,etc.,) made this an easy mini vacation. The huge things (Ramos for handicapped daughter, golf cart) made it possible. The host was extremely responsive. Very relaxing home.

Island Home away from Home

This home is perfectly situated in a quieter, picturesque and low traffic area of Avalon. It's just a 15 minute walk from the ferry (while the hill is steep, I would not say it is strenuous if you're someone who considers yourself a walker, we made it easy with two roller bags and a 10 year old). The amenities are incredible. We loved the hot tub and the golf cart and the great kitchen cookware. During our stay, we made all our meals at the home, the local Von's having a great selection of groceries. The hardline gas grill is a major plus! My birthday trip was rainy (the hot tub is fab in the rain) but the mornings were all glorious crisp sunshine. I highly suggest you begin your day early before the crowds arrive by 9am, enjoy a long walk or a ride to explore. I slept so well, absolute quiet. I really enjoyed my stay, Netflix and chilled (darn weather) and had a wonderful respite. I should add, I have been to the island several time. I have previously done the adventures, zip line, kayaking, even camping. This was a birthday trip and I feel absolutely refreshed. TIPS! Bring cash to the island, save your self some fees. Sunscreen! Even with the rain, the sun is brutal and left mine at home. $20 a pop for a bottle.

Great adult getaway!

Owners very accomodating the ferry schedule. Big beds and spacious bathrooms. Well appointed kitchen, large grill, and fire table made meal prep and service easy.
