We had an amazing time staying at this property and have nothing but great things to say about the place and the property manager! Would highly recommend!

Short comings
We arrived to the shrill sound of "low battery" in the smoke detector. The filter for the air intake was very clogged so heat needed in the a.m. would not rise until we removed the problem. Unkempt outside property. Inside was nicely done to 1930's home. Off season so the town was very quiet, not their fault.
In the historic Fort Screven district of the island, the property has some age-related issues such as sloping floors, leaking front porch roof (one of the sitting areas), and awkward doorways/door swings (laundry/closet hanging area and bedroom door). However, the property was clean and conveniently located within easy walking/biking distance (several blocks) of the beach and a few eating places. The bed and linens were comfy! There was a good supply of towels, but only a little soap (hand and dish) and no shampoo or body wash. It was nice that there was a laundry room and laundry soap and dryer sheets available there. Nice to have plenty of toilet tissue and paper towels, as well. Kitchen had most of the utensils we needed for the cooking we did, but would have loved some spices to be available besides pepper and salt. Knife set was very nice to have! Neighbors were very friendly!
Perfect for a week stay. Lots of extra blankets and pillows. Very comfortable bed. CAN walk to beach but not if carrying much. Will stocked kitchen. Victrola is a nice touch.
We enjoyed a relaxing stay for our Anniversary in Tybee with a view of the lighthouse at this quaint location. Beautiful quiet area to walk to beach and enjoy the views. Very helpful tourist info for attractions and tips for the best restaurants to try! Host was quick to respond if needed for any questions. Overall great stay! Two points that could help guests 1) the backyard amenities are shared with cottage B and 2) you must pay to park everywhere on Tybee, except the rental cottage. (We just were'nt aware of those things originally, but wouldnt have changed our plans or anything) Thanks for a great time! A&J M
We came back to Tybee to relax & re-connect. The cottage was adorable and had all the amenities in the listing except for reliable Wi-Fi. The connection was hit or miss. We’ve stayed in Tybee many times before, and this was the first time the owner did not provide parking passes. Parking is $4/ hour on the island. However the cottage itself was great!!
Great place, great location, but I travel for a living and its easy to spot the differences between a high-value, high-quality stays.
The trashcan was filthy. It needs to be taken outside powered wash and cleaned. The kitchen appliances and cookware was a mess and disorganized. Multiple appliances, some worked, some dirty, but all dusty and dirty. Coffee machine looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since purchased.
The laundry basket was also very dirty, so I decided not to use it.
The washer machine was also dirty.
Table in the living room was dirty.
Bathroom towels were tiny, old, and worn.
No iron, but there was a dusty ironing board.
