Perfect quiet get-away with attentive hosts

Adele and Terry were splendid hosts, and the property was a lovely quiet and convenient place to get away from the city. Such a short walk from the ferry, with easy access to nice trails for hiking, a grocery store and several good restaurants.I mentioned that I wanted to do some writing, so Adele and Terry actually moved out one of the existing pieces of furniture and found a desk, desk chair and lamp for me to use. This was unexpected but much appreciated!The breakfasts served were all quite delicious, and again Adele and Terry accommodated me by adapting the menu, since I'm vegetarian. Overall, one of my best-ever stays booked through VRBO.

Absolutely wonderful stay with Adele and Terry! They really provided a wonderful experience. The unit was clean and cute. All amenities were available. Location can't be beat, really short walk to everything. They really went above and beyond for our stay and we will be returning.

What a gem!

Everything was perfect. The hosts made us feel very welcome, gave us advice about where to go and what to see. The apartment was delightful and decorated with fresh flowers and little extras. We had a lovely stay.

Perfect location close to everything. Very attentive hosts, delicious breakfasts not to mention a surprise of soup for lunch very yummy. Just a lovely weekend even if it was a little rainy. A very relaxing place to stay and a super comfy bed which always helps.

Peace and Tranquility

A beautiful coastal rain forest experience. Terry and Adele were amazing hosts. Homemade breakfast was a real treat! The locAtion couldn’t have been better. Quiet but close to shops, galleries, cafes and trails. I’ll definitely visit again.

Bowen Weekend Getaway

This was our second time staying at Adele's B and B and we once again loved it. The breakfast was delicious, the hosts were friendly and accommodating, and the island was a treat to explore. Can't wait to come back!

Our cozy suite was easy to find, well appointed and in a lovely quiet and natural setting while within walking distance to Snug Cove. Our hosts were attentive yet respectful and discreet. Breakfast was amazing - it was clear Adele enjoys cooking and is very good at it. Delicious! We’d come back in a heartbeat.

Perfect little spot

I stayed here with my fiancé for the weekend, Terry and Adele are such wonderful hosts! The suite was perfect, had everything we needed, and the king bed was super comfy! On top of being a very convenient location walking distance to everything in the cove, “chefy” Adele’s cooking was delightful - she makes a top notch eggs Benny and surprised us on the morning of our last day with some scones. A+ host, would absolutely stay again!

We had such a wonderful experience at Adele’s. Terry and Adele were fantastic hosts and took such good care of us. They made us feel comfortable and at home. A great experience

We had a great stay with Adele and Terry. The suite was as listed and was a great place overall. We were attending a wedding and it was nice to have a place to escape. The bed was comfy, the shower was great and the kitchen had everything we needed. A truly bonus feature was being offered breakfast the first morning, it was delicious! Fresh fruit, juice, pancakes, sausage and all the “stuff”. So good and such a great way to start our day. As we were packing this morning, we had a knock on our door and warm homemade coffee cake and juice was being delivered ❤️. The only thing that could have been better was if it had been a little warmer so we could have enjoyed the wonderful private patio with great comfy chairs and a view of the garden and the ocean. 5/5 would stay here again.

Perfect Romantic Getaway

We had the best time at Adele’s B & B! It’s the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. The eggs benny breakfast was delicious and the beach across the street was warm for a swim and quiet for a little beach day. Terry and Adele are great hosts, available for anything we needed. Can’t wait to come back and would recommend to anyone coming to Bowen Island.

We had a great visit to the island and staying at Adele's made it even more wonderful. A lovely cottage vibe to this space. Very quiet and private with many things close by. Highlights were the local wildlife in the yard as well as across the street at Sandy Beach. Hummingbirds,.Towhees, butterflies, and Deer in the yard. At the beach, we swam, saw lots of seals and local shore birds. In the early morning, otters were fishing and frolicking. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay on Bowen. For us, it was perfect and we will certainly be returning for future visits. Oh and the breakfast was awesome too! Thank you Adele and Terry.

Comfy stay on Snug Cove

Very comfortable unit on Bowen Island with incredibly kind hosts, Terry & Adele who made us feel very welcomed and provided a delicious breakfast for us. Optimal location very close to the ferry dock and Snug Cove restaurants. Would recommend to anyone staying on Bowen Island or West Vancouver.

Just what we needed

My partner and I enjoyed a little weekend getaway here. Hosts were amazing! Super friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was fantastic and they even accommodated my food allergy. The suite was clean and bright and we really loved sitting out on the covered deck, listening to the rain and watching a doe and her fawn feed on the lawn right in front of us. It’s a quick walk to local trails as well as restaurants but off the main roads enough that it’s quiet. Heading back to the city feeling very relaxed and refreshed. Thank you!!! We will for sure be back.

Adeles BnB was a wonderful choice while staying on Bowen Island. The suite was very clean, welcoming, and relaxing. Kitchenette amenities allowed for simple meal preparations and convenience. The surrounding area is very peaceful and provides a great area for relaxing walks, providing both parks and beach "right there". Shops and local tourism areas are also a very short walk away. Most notable was the fantastic and incredibly thoughtful hosts. Terry was an excellent communicator to assist my preparations for arrival and departure, and Adele creates a beautifully presented fresh hot breakfast that she clearly holds great pride in. Well earned pride for certain! Thank you once again for a great stay!

Amazing stay and even better hosts

Terry and Adele went far above and beyond to make our stay welcoming. If you only skim this review that is the one thing I hope you take away. The property itself is very cozy and comfortable. Clean and has everything you'd need, plus the location is absolutely primo just a short hop, skip, and a jump from the ferry. Ideal for people staying on the island without a car. Adele made an amazing breakfast for our stay and they accommodated us at every turn. I highly recommend this location and these hosts.

Beautiful island getaway

Adele and Terry went the extra mile to accommodate us as an unexpected February snowstorm hit the island and the lower mainland and they still delivered top flight hospitality and a beautiful stay. The breakfast was among the best I’ve ever had and the incredible wildlife viewing off the front porch was breathtaking. Close to all needed amenities and secluded enough to feel like our own private hideaway from all the stresses of the world. Our first trip to Bowen and most certainly not our last. Huge thanks and kudos to our hosts.
