The Space:
Our family-friendly cabin is packed with amenities and fun for couples, families, or groups of friends.

The cabin includes:
- Outdoor hot tub perfect for relaxing
- 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms
- A huge wraparound deck surrounded by trees, against a babbling brook, with a propane grill
- Fully-stocked kitchen with a stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, and island
- Indoor fireplace to keep you cozy at night
- Smart TV in the living room, with Roku set up so you can easily sign-in to Netflix, Disney+, or any of your streaming services
- WiFi that’s fast enough to stream movies and hold video calls
- Central AC and heat to keep you comfortable, regardless of the weather (it gets hot outside in the summer!)
- Hair dryer, iron, and full bathtub -- all the essentials for your home away from home

We often take our three little kids and dog to the cabin with us, so we're very family-and dog-friendly. Unfortunately we don't allow cats (we're allergic).

Beyond the cabin itself, you’ll have access to all the amenities in the Coolfront cabin community, including:
- Heated outdoor swimming & kiddie pool
- Hot tub
- Tennis and basketball courts
- Rec field and “tot lot”
- Private hiking trails that head right into the mountains of the Cacapon State Park

(Note: pools and hot tub are only available Memorial Day to Labor Day, sorry!)

And we love how close to everything we are -- particularly all the restaurants and shops in Berkeley Springs. You’re less than a 10 minute drive from downtown -- with Berkeley Springs Brewing Company less than 5 minutes away!

Beautiful Cabin Getaway

I had an amazing stay at this remote cabin in the mountains! The location is absolutely stunning, surrounded by breathtaking views and peaceful nature. The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was the perfect getaway to disconnect and enjoy the serenity of the outdoors. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and beautiful escape!

Cozy cabin in beautiful location

We had a wonderful stay with our family at the property. Very cozy cabin in the woods in beautiful location with all the amenities needed to feel right at home. Very comfy beds, great deck with hot tub and nice hiking and sites in the area. Also enjoyed the playground and pool in the community area of site. Would definitely recommend for other families or couples looking for a nice relaxing place for vacation.

We wanted a cabin in the woods for a small getaway! This was the place! Wood burning stove, hot tub, walk out deck overlooking the trees! We loved Cacapon State Park, hiking at the Paw Paw Trail and through the Tunnel!

Amazing cabin getaway in Berkeley Springs! Tony was incredible ensuring our arrival was flawless and the cabin itself was perfect. Amenities were great and WiFi was strong, we were able to work remote without any issues. Can’t wait to come back!

Great get away!

This property is close to town but in a peacful neighborhood. The house is clean and cheerful. The hottub and Adirondack chairs on the deck gave our family a place to enjoy nature and a glass of wine. The only Improvement I would suggest is to fix the broken couch and add some indoor comfy seating.

Cabin in the woods

Nice location and community. The hot tub and deck are a plus. Some of the furniture is broken/ missing. It was fine since it was just me and my husband, but would not be comfortable if we brought our children.

Nice place but definitely pros and cons

Pros - Location and hot tub. Cons - Furniture especially the very squeaky beds are very low quality. Blankets on bed were paper thin and couldn't find additional ones. Shower head is horrible and water can't flow in the middle of the shower, it's either on the wall or curtain. Cooking pots/pans are old and warped.

Cozy little escape!

I surprised my husband with this cabin for his birthday which was during the week. The host was very communicative and was available for any of our questions or concerns. They made sure we arrived safely and even updated us on some snow that was in the forecast to make sure we travel back okay. The cabin was very clean and spacious and the hot tub was amazing! It was also very nice that it was pet friendly! The only issue which was not related to the cabin was most restaurants were closed Monday and Tuesday in the area so be sure to check when things are open. We got couples massages at Atasia Spa and found a BBQ place to get take out and enjoy at the cabin! We enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen and the ability to stream movies. We would come back any time! Thank you for being an amazing host!

Comfortable Cabin - Great Neighorhood

We stayed for 2 nights on a warm fall weekend with 3 of our grandkids. This is a very clean and comfortable cabin with a great room that includes the living room, kitchen and dining table. 3 good-sized bedrooms with comfortable queen beds. Great wrap around deck. The cabin is in a neighborhood of cabins, which are separated enough so ours felt private. We live in the Maryland D.C. suburbs. A major plus for Berkely Springs is it’s about a 90 minute drive. Another plus was the very attentive support from owner Tony. Will stay again soon.

Mountain Retreat

My partner and I were looking for a getaway from the city. House is nestled in the woods with nearby cabins but enough privacy. Nearby downtown Berkeley Springs area had a great coffee shop/breakfast place with fun antique shops. We booked massages at the bathe house down town. Very quiet getaway. Nearby brewery with good BBQ. State park good trails for hiking. Nice get away from the city. People were very nice. Had host's direct number to any questions/concerns which quick reply.

Almost Heaven!

Ok, a bit of a tired cliche, but this property is not. It's wonderful! First, my husband commended me on my choice--the neighborhood of small resort homes is beautiful, each one tucked away discretely and privately. The home is spotless, the decor tasteful. the hot tub relaxing.... Great choice! We have already talked about coming back with our adult children just to "chill". ps coming from the east, stop in at Blue Goose for pastries (esp pies), and coming from the west, stop in at Oak Barrel cafe--yeah, it's in a Citgo station, but wow, the food (thai chicken peanut bowl) is wonderful... and inside it's just simply charming.

Perfect quick getaway

So often the pictures are better than reality but this wasn't the case at all. This home is very nicely appointed and updated, and in a great, close-to-everything location. Communication with the owner was a breeze. Looking forward to renting it again this winter.

Why they chose this property

We spent years searching for the perfect getaway, and wanted to be close enough to DC that we could do a day trip. We fell in love with the area – and Aspen Haus in particular. We love how cute and cozy our cabin is, and all the fun outdoor activities we can enjoy year-round. :)
