The pictures don’t do this little cabin justice. It is cozy, off the beaten path—the sweetest little spot to unwind. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal, the gas stove keeps you toasty, and the bed is super comfy! We will be back.
Cabin was wonderful. Location was beautiful. The fall colors were amazing. Only issue is the water pressure in the shower. Could barely wash the soap off. Cabin itself is a wonderful place for a romantic weekend.
This cabin provided a lovely place to stay with all the comforts of home and a relaxing getaway while visiting our son during Family weekend at his nearby college. Courtney was a great communicator and we thoroughly enjoyed the quiet, the simplicity, and the charm. It was nestled in the woods of a mountain off a gravel road far from stores and restaurants and would have been idyllic if we had been able to stay for the full weekend for reading, puzzling or playing games.
Clean and modern cabin that is secluded enough to feel like you are getting away, but located conveniently enough to make getting to hiking and other amenities easy. Courtney is very responsive and east to communicate with.
The cabin was comfortable and cozy for the two of us. Everything was clean with all necessary kitchen equipment. The bedroom was very large with a really comfortable bed. The property was “away from it all “ and peaceful yet convenient to Brattleboro and other quaint locations. The hosts were very accommodating and seemed like genuine hosts, not just property owners. We recommend!
We had a wonderful stay. Peace and quiet is priceless for city folks like us. The place was very clean and adequately equipped. Communication was top notch. Would stay here again!
My husband and I wanted a relaxing few days to get away from our hectic lives. This small cabin was perfect, comfortable, and nicely appointed. Reading a book on the screened in porch with a cup of coffee was my favorite part.
It is a quiet place in the woods but close to many small and quaint towns to visit in Vermont. The Newfane Store a few miles down the road was a great place to grab a coffee and meal.
I also really appreciate that I could bring my dog. Many thanks for a warm and cozy stay.
The house was very clean and cozy. Nice and peaceful get away in a remote cabin with my wife and both of the dogs! They provided dog toys and a bed for our pups with additional treats, they were very happy about this!
If you are looking for a quiet get away to slow down and reconnect with your family this is the place to be!
We loved the little cabin! Enjoyed the quiet escape to a very well appointed haven. Kitchen was well stocked, the stove kept us plenty warm, the loft was perfect!! Thank you for having us. Hope to come back in warmer weather!
Great place to have as a home base for the areas adventures. We brought our dogs and baby. Management was responsive and pretty much everything we needed aside from groceries was there. Hope to stay again!
This was a perfect getaway spot in the Vermont woods. My wife and I and our senior dog had a fantastic stay. This cabin was comfy and cosy, perfect for 2-3 people. We had everything we needed and were even blown away by the streaming TV and Wi-Fi speed when needed. The host provided a great guest guide that had wonderful recommendations of local restaurants and activities which came in handy during our stay. The host was also very accommodating and quick to communicate when we had any questions. Highly recommend this cute cabin and we hope to return in the near future.
We had a great stay in this tiny house in the woods. It was just what we wanted- off the beaten path but with day trips and great restaurants within reach (a visit to the Fat Crow is a must!). We had everything we needed and the communication was great. Thank you!

I already thought that house was cute before arriving. However, the little touches were beyond my hopes. The yard is roomy and charming with the fire pit. The kitchen is equipped with good quality items - not rental leftovers. So well laid out too. Then the bedroom. I wanted to spend a rainy day reading a book up there. The bed was supremely comfortable. Better than mine at home. All in all, this place is a dream. Thank you!!

About the host

My Husband and myself enjoy traveling, the beautiful outdoors, our family, dogs and sports of all types. What makes us happiest is sharing our homes with others who share similar interests. We buy houses in areas that we enjoy and make them available for others to enjoy. These are all our vacation homes so we are hopeful those who stay with us will treat them with the same respect that they would their own vacation getaways!
Why they chose this property
Hazel Hill Haven is a very remote and serene environment. If you are looking to reconnect with a loved one, explore nature with the family, go skiing or snowmobiling with a friend then we are happy to share our home with you. All seasons present different amenities to enjoy from the beautiful state of Vermont.
What makes this property unique
You are in Townshend Acres submerged in the quiet blanket of nature. We have deer, bear, turkeys, and bunnies that frequent the property. We have 4 mountains within 50 minute drive of the house, closest being Stratton and its unique ski village at the base of the mountain.
