You have full access to the house, except for the garage and a few locked closets containing the owners' belongings & cleaning supplies. There’s plenty of space to store your personal items during your stay.

Our cabin is located in Big Bear in the desirable neighborhood of Whispering Forest, within a short drive to Bear Mountain Resort, Snow Summit Resort, Alpine Snow play, GoKarts, popular restaurants and of course, the lake!

Our cabin is:
• 5 min drive to Vons and Stater Brothers supermarkets
• 7 min drive to both slopes (Mountain Resort & Snow Summit Resort)
• 5 min drive to Big Bear Lake.
• 3 min drive to convention center, farmers market, Ocktober Fest & Mai
Fest
• 3 min drive to Alpine snow play for sledding and rope obstacle course.
• 10 min drive to the Big Bear village
• Minutes to several great hikes.

Getting around Big Bear is best done by car. Avid bicyclists could set out from our place and bike the entire lake perimeter.

The house is located in the mountains at over 6000 feet elevation and is subject to weather/natural events that may affect road conditions. We have 4 parking spots outside our home. During winter, we provide for the parking area to be cleared of excessive snow once the storm clears (and as soon as snow plow teams are able to arrive). Mountain roads can be curvy and steep. You are required by law to carry tire chains in your vehicle during the winter months. We recommend buying them before coming (as it’s much cheaper outside of Big Bear). Big Bear Valley and the surrounding San Bernardino Mountains are subject to temporary power outages due to weather and natural events.

- Check-in: After 4:00 PM
- Check-out: By 10:00 AM
- Self Check-in: Smart lock access
- Late check-out/early check-in: Must be approved in advance & may incur extra fees.
--Guests
- Maximum occupancy: 10 guests
- Parking: 5 vehicles maximum. Park only in designated areas. No parking on the street. Illegally parked cars may be towed at vehicle owner’s expense.

- Pets: Not allowed. Violation will result in immediate eviction with no refund.
- Minimum age: 25 to rent.
--Noise & Quiet Hours
- Quiet hours: To respect our full-time neighbors, please keep noise levels down between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM

- Amplified Music: Not allowed to be heard beyond property lines 24/7.
--Prohibited Activities
- No parties or events: No weddings, gatherings, or commercial filming.
- No smoking, vaping, or e-cigarettes: Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property.
- No fireworks or open fires: Strictly prohibited.
--Other Rules
- Repairs/Access: Host may access the property for necessary repairs.
- Grill use: Propane grill only—no charcoal or personal grills.
- Damage: Guest responsible for costs of any damage during their stay.
- Liability: Host not responsible for accidents, injuries, or illness on the property.
--Weather & Snow
- Snow chains/tires: Required by law in Big Bear.
- Snow removal: We clear the driveway & front steps but back decks are not plowed. Snowplow services may be delayed on snow days.
- No refunds for weather-related issues: No refunds for early departure or travel delays due to weather conditions.

--Eviction
-Guests who engage in disruptive or unlawful behavior may be evicted without a refund and may also be subject to city-issued citations
