This 60 square meter (640 square feet) two-bedroom one-bathroom penthouse is located in a charming Chelsea small building looking like a townhouse, steps from Sloane Square in Kensington & Chelsea, close to Knightsbridge (Harrods), the Thames and Hyde Park. The house is found on one the most prestigious addresses of London – Draycott Avenue.

This flat was fully renovated this year by an interior designer using the finest materials and finishes, including a top of the line made-to-measure kitchen with Lacanche stove, marble countertops, oak floors, Pierre Frey textiles and wall papers, custom wood cabinets and luxurious bathrooms finished with Horus faucets. There is air conditioning in the living room strong enough to cool the entire flat.

This unit faces full west and the living room is flooded with sunshine all afternoon until sunset (which occurs around 10pm in the summer!) The bedrooms are very quiet (new double glazed windows) facing Draycott Avenue, which is minimal traffic.

It can sleep up to 4 people. Please note that the second bedroom has a trundle bed.

This apartment is ideally situated in the middle of all the best London has to offer! The closest metro stops is Sloane Square, 5 minutes walk, and South Kensington, 10 minutes walk from the apartment.

Amazing Stay over Christmas Week

Awesome location
The apt was lovely. The second bedroom was a little bit of a squeeze but was big enough. The property owner had given us the heads up. We were able to leave our luggage at the apt the day of our departure which was super helpful. We were close to restaurants and the tube! We really enjoyed our stay

Our family of 3 had a wonderful stay. The location is so convenient - near to many shops and restaurants, and a quick walk to the bus or tube. Beautiful Chelsea Sloane Square Flat
Loved our stay in this beautifully appointed flat. Cozy and perfectly sized for the two of us. Neighborhood is fabulous, just steps away from shops, restaurants and underground, but quiet and free of tourists. Terrific!

Not what we expected
The positives first. The apartment is beautifully furnished and is in a convenient location close to the Kings Road in Chelsea. Unfortunately I had a miss communication with the owner and the keys to open the apartment were hard to obtain. In the end I had to climb over garbage bags in the pouring rain to get to a lock box to get the keys to open the doors. Once we entered the building we were met with bags of building materials piled up in the hallway. We took the lift to the 4th floor, only to find out that the apartment directly beside us was under renovation. We could hear the hammers, the buzz saw and the chatting. The apartment had no heat as boiler was malfunctioning, The owner walked me through how to put water back in the boiler so that we could have heat. I had to fill up the water level every four hours or the boiler would turn off. It was cold and damp outside, so the heat was very important. Every time we turned on a tap or filled the boiler we heard a terrible loud noise. It was caused by a pump, that was pumping the water up to the fourth floor. The owner excused this problem because the apartment is on the 4th floor and is an old building. Rubbish, I have lived in London for 12 years in much older and taller houses and never had this problem. A maid was supposed to show up twice during our stay and she never showed. The trash bin on the balcony was full of garbage and I had no where for trash. Fix these prob lems and I would give this a five+.

Wonderful London home-base
We stayed at this property for ten days and it was an ideal location. The area has a real neighborhood feel, with plenty of shops and restaurants. It was a 5-10 minute walk to the tube station. We appreciated the cleanliness of the flat and the fact that the building has an elevator. The beds were comfortable and the place surprised us for how quiet it was at night. We had a few questions throughout our stay and the Host was helpful and quick to respond.

Chelsea Stay
This is an ideal spot for a Chelsea stay. I liked the view from the living area windows on the rainy mornings. The apt is compact, but reasonable laid out. Close to many restaurants and pubs. It's also close to the Sloane Square tube station and bus stops, so we had no trouble getting around London.

Apartment very nice, comfortable, clean, and with a lift. Great location for getting around the city with tube station a short walk away. Great food shopping close by along with other retail stores. Good find for a stay in London.

Location is perfect.
First and foremost, this is the perfect location. 3 min walk from Kings Road, which gives you access to restaurants, shops and more. It’s super close to the museums in South Kensington. The flat is clean and the owner is responsive to questions. The flat is quiet despite it being so close to major road (tucked away in a quiet residential street).

Beautiful central spot for our family visit to London
This flat is a perfect fit for a family of four. With the trundle bed in the second room, our girls had their own space for resting after a long day of sightseeing and visiting with friends. The apartment is well appointed with everything you need and the location can’t be beat. We had only minor questions when there but the owners were very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend! We will stay again next time.

Perfect Location
We loved our location and stay. Such a short walk to the Underground and all restaurants, shops and stores we needed. It was the hottest week of the year in London and the AC kept up well. The communication with owners was quick and easy. Definitely recommend.

Lovely flat in fantastic area
This was a lovely place to stay with a fantastic location. Just a short 5-10 min walk from tube stations, restaurants, shops, museums etc. lovely, quiet street and it was nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of the country be so close to everything. Flat itself was very clean and comfortable for our family of 4 (the kids shared a trundle bed) and amply supplied with almost everything we needed for our stay. We did not receive any housekeeping for our 4 day stay but the housekeeper was very responsive to our request for some supplies that ran out. She also went above and beyond to have the flat ready for us for an early check in due to our train arriving early. Communication with the flat owners before our stay was excellent. Would definitely recommend this property.

Wonderful Stay
We just returned from a wonderful stay at this property. Perfect for our young family, although it is worth noting the 2nd bedroom is cozy for two people! The place was spotless on our arrival and the check-in process very simple. A few queries we had were answered extremely quickly. We had previously lived in London so were very familiar with the location, which we think is one of the best in the city. All in all, a wonderful stay.

Stellar Location
Hard to imagine finding a better location in this price range in London. About equidistant from Sloan Square and South Kensington tube stops, most of London is at your doorstep, and the neighborhood is quiet but around the corner from great shopping and restaurants. The flat is small but well equipped and you shouldn’t spend much time there anyway in this great city. Communication w hosts was easy and straightforward. Only negative was the bed in the main bedroom was rock hard, and this is coming from someone who likes firm mattresses. It causes sleep to be less than great for my wife and I. We’d def stay here again.

Highly Recommended
Great property located in the Chelsea neighborhood, withing walking distance to both Sloane Square and South Kensington Tube stations. Property was very clean, and check-in process was extremely easy. Property had everything we needed including washer, dryer, dishwasher, coffee maker, electric kettle, oven, and refrigerator. Other reviews have mentioned a problem with the shower, and although the stationary overhead shower faucet is not operational, there is a hand-held shower spray and a hook to hang it on which makes it just like a shower. It was not a problem for us at all. Would highly recommend this great unit, and would book again for another stay.

Great apartment in lovely neighborhood
This apartment was beautiful, just as pictured, and was perfect for our family of 4 for our London vacation. It is a great location - very posh neighborhood, easy walking distance to public transportation and plenty of restaurants and shopping. The property owners were responsive to all of our questions and requests. As stated by another reviewer, the main showerhead (a rain showerhead) is not operable so there is a handheld instead. When I learned this and inquired about it the property owner offered to (and did) install a hook for the handheld to be used as an alternate showerhead. It was good enough for us for our time there. There is a lovely woman that came to clean the apartment and refresh towels during our stay, which was a nice feature of the rental. Would definitely stay here again and would not hesitate to recommend to others!

This flat is in a beautiful quiet neighbourhood with groceries, shops and restaurants within a short walking distance. The flat was perfect for our needs. We appreciated the large closets with lighting in the bedrooms, easy to use appliances and the fresh flowers. The host was very easy to communicate with and quick to respond to inquiries. Check in process was very easy. The housekeeping was excellent. We would highly recommend this flat to others and hope to return some day.
