Welcome to our Cashiers hideaway! This quiet mountain cottage is surrounded by trees and has a large deck to relax and enjoy your morning coffee while taking in the mountain air and sounds of the stream that runs below. Centrally located just 5 minutes from downtown Cashiers and Silver Run Falls, 15 minutes to Sapphire Valley Resort and Lake Glenville, and 30 minutes to Highlands and Lake Toxaway, the cottage is a great home base to explore all that the Cashiers area has to offer.

➤ 2 bedroom/2 bath mountain cottage has a king bed and 2 twin beds (which can be converted into a king if requested before check-in). Can accommodate up to 5 people if using the sofa bed in the living room
➤ Central A/C and heat
➤ Professionally cleaned before each stay with fresh linens, towels, and toiletries provided
➤ Satellite internet and wifi available throughout the house
➤ Large deck with a sofa, 2 chairs, and tables
➤ Fully equipped kitchen
➤ Dining area with a large dining table
➤ Comfortable living area with 43" TV with DirecTV
➤ Desk and chair for working remotely
➤ Washer and dryer
➤ Pet bowls, towels, and blankets provided for use
➤ Parking for up to 3 cars. Driveway is fairly steep, so 4-wheel or all-wheel drive is required during the months when ice or snow are possible
➤ Dogs are allowed (up to 2 dogs that weigh 50 lbs or less each). If you are planning to bring your dog, they must be included in the reservation so that the pet fee will be applied
➤ Stays that are greater than 14 nights will require midstay cleanings every 14 days, and guest will be charged an additional cleaning fee equivalent to the standard cleaning fee for each cleaning

Note - There are two exterior security cameras that will be on during your stay. Neither of them face any interior areas of the house, and there are no recording devices in the house.

Short & sweet getaway

What a perfect getaway! Our cabin far exceeded our expectations. It was so cozy, comfortable and convenient! Things like a comfy sofa and bed, plenty of extra blankets hanging on a cool rack in the living room. Two coffee makers for the k pod fan and the old fashion brew fan. Luggage racks and plenty of storage for our things. The deck with its gorgeous view of the stream right below and a fully stocked kitchen for us to enjoy eating “at home” or a SUPER EASY ride to The Orchard, Slab Town Pizza or breakfast at Bucks! Such a great place to stay! Get there soon!

Beautiful Stay in Cashiers

The cottage was very clean with lots of windows and an ample deck. Kitchen was well stocked. Lots of towels and laundry detergent was a plus. Very quiet and private with easy access to many places. Tyler was an excellent host! Highly recommend.

Great Weekend stay!

Great cottage for the weekend. Very clean and welcoming, location is perfect for cashiers. Rooms and bathrooms are a great size, very comfortable and able to spread out for 3 people. Amazing porch with seating to enjoy the weather and peace. Just a warning- drive way is pretty steep and very little room to maneuver if you have a large SUV/truck. Host was very response and accommodating. Absolutely would stay again!

Great Cashiers stay

My husband and I enjoyed our time at Tyler’s home. The location of the house is ideal for exploring western NC. The floor plan was perfect for our needs and we enjoyed our time relaxing on the secluded porch. Tyler is an attentive and helpful host. We will be returning!

Tree house

Great weather, great house on the steep hill with views of many trees from the front porch. Very peaceful and quiet. Great kitchen with pretty dishes. Very tastefully decorated den. Loved the master bedroom bath's shower with a window high enough up to see a sunset after a 4 hour hike in Ellicott's Wilderness Area close by. one afternoon. We would definitely come back soon. Thank you Tyler for allowing us to stay at this nice place!

Lovely Stay in Cashiers

The home was as pictured and described. The location was convenient to Cashiers, and was literally 5 minutes to drive to the main street. Location was quiet and peaceful; one of the local neighbors had a friendly lab that came over to say hello one morning. The front porch was great, and sitting in the rain on the porch and playing games was wonderful. Tyler was very responsive and accommodated our last minute booking request with clear, concise communication.

Wonderful stay at Tyler's place in Cashiers! Very convenient to Cashiers and the fun shops and restaurants there, and convenient to hiking and fishing spots in the National Forest. House was well-cleaned and supplied. Would gladly stay there again!

Beautiful home

We booked this property for a weekend away and it was perfect! The location was wonderful - close to downtown Cashiers shops and restaurants. The weather was great so we were able to enjoy the spacious porch. Home had everything we needed and was very clean. Highly recommend booking this property!

2022 Vacation

We decided to take a spur of the moment getaway/birthday trip to Cashiers for some cooler weather. Found this house quickly on VRBO and requested reservations. Owner was quick to reply and very helpful. Home was small, immaculate and very comfortable for me and my husband. I was surprised there was no art conditioning but weather was perfect, windows raised and we enjoyed the fresh air! My only suggestion would be a tv in the master bedroom. But after sightseeing all day we really didn’t miss it! We will stay again!

Comfortable, Convenient, Clean & Classic!

Tyler, we want to thank you for sharing your beautiful Mountain home and for. Ring fantastic to work with throughout the booking and checking in process! The location of your mountain home is ideal for quick access to the Cashier Village Green area and wonderful accommodations for our stay while in town for my nieces wedding at the beautiful Sawyer‘s Farm Event center. We noted the attention you gave to details for comfort of your guest including great beds and bedding, convenient multiple plugs with cell chargers at bedside and blackout curtains in the master! To future guest I would share that this home has a great vibe with relaxed comfortable modern farmhouse decor that is is inviting and uncluttered. The home is spotless, including clean windows for the great views! The front porch deserves a paragraph to itself! You feel like you were in a treehouse and the furnishings are very comfortable! While my daughter and I were gone for a good bit of the time helping with my nieces wedding activities, my husband enjoyed a delightful day of relaxation and reading on the front porch with birdsong and mountain breezes for company! Lastly,I would want to mention that the kitchen was well appointed for the breakfasts that we prepared.
