Wedding Weekend

Wonderful Easter weekend visit! We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful VRBO rental in Leesburg, Alabama for a wedding weekend at Dry Creek Chapel, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The home was spotless, well-stocked, and incredibly comfortable—exactly what we needed during such a meaningful time with family and friends.The location was peaceful and scenic, just a short drive from the wedding venue, and made for a relaxing retreat between events. We especially loved spending time on the porch, enjoying the fresh air and quiet surroundings. There was plenty of space for everyone to gather, whether we were sharing meals, getting ready for the wedding, or just unwinding in the evenings. We even had an Easter egg hunt with our grandchildren before we left. Our host was friendly, responsive, and thoughtful, making the whole experience smooth from booking to checkout. It really did feel like a home away from home. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, charming spot to relax and unwind, especially if you’re celebrating something special!

Very Clean, well equipped, and close to activities

Well equipped space for a family, very clean. We had a climbing trip at Cherokee Rock Village, and this was a wonderful location to stay in for it.

Family time

We enjoyed our stay very much. The home was perfect. We were surprised to find the house could accommodate us plus mom and the kids and 2 little ones. They were able to stay over allowing more family time. We will want to return for another visit.

Cherokee Rock Village Event

Amazing location. Beautiful house, well equipped with all of the modern conveniences. Quiet neighborhood. Amazing view of Lake Weis. We will definitely try to book this location next year for our next event.

Very clean and well-stocked house! plenty of cookware, towels, blankets, etc. Gates on the porches made it very baby-friendly! We really enjoyed our stay here.

Very Nice Property

Perfect Getaway!

We were so impressed from the time we entered the property until we left. The home is beautiful! I can’t say enough about the decor, amenities, and location. We were minutes from the local lake beach and enjoyed our time there. We also went to the drive in movie and the Pirate’s Bay Waterpark - both just 10 minutes away. We had such a good time! The property owner was very thoughtful, checked on us, and responded when we had questions. We highly recommend!

Beautiful house and space

We so enjoyed our time here! The house was clean, comfortable and well maintained. We really appreciated the child proofing of outlets not in use. The outdoor space was ideal being that it had a large enclosed space that locked— perfect for keeping toddlers safe. The beds were super comfortable & the shower was great!

Fun stay

We're the grandparents from Tn. coming to meet the parents & grandkids half way. Stayed a few days to enjoy the view & comforts of the home & brought 2 granddaughters back. Played in the lake, kayaked, ate some good food & utilized the large fenced area to keep our dogs in. Would recommend this house for any family w/ outdoor pets, kids & folks who'd enjoy a comfortable stay @ the lake.

Comfortable + Great View

We stayed here because a friend has a property on Lake Weiss and was hosting a get together for the long weekend. The house was perfect for what we needed - it is a short drive from our friend’s place, it’s clean and very comfortable, and has great views of the lake. We’ll be back!
