Situated right along the Seneca wine trail with a beautiful view and access to the lake, this flat is the perfect spot for exploring the finger lakes with easy access to Watkins Glen which is a 10 minute drive away. The flat is on the top floor of a two storey apartment right across the road from Finger Lakes distillery and Damiani wines and have free on site parking. We are pet friendly too.

Great property beautiful view easy access to outside activities

Unsafe Space Heaters for Kids

We stayed at the end of November and were very disappointed. First thing, when we showed up there were 3 unclean space heaters heating the 3 rooms. When I say unclean, I mean that there were crayons and legos inside the heater. We had a 4 year old with us and he could have burnt himself on these very easily. We ended up leaving that night because of this situation and the fact that there was horrible drafts from the wood covered hole in the wall and sliding glass door. There was no lock to keep the owners out while we were in the house. There should at least be a safety lock especially considering we had a shared entrance into the home. This stay was extremely disappointing!

Great location

Great location close to Watkins Glen and all the wineries. Comfy beds, big, awesome balcony view. A bit noisy at times (on road) but overall great value

Quant place, convenient location!

We stayed during the off season (April) and loved the location of this place to some of our favorite wineries! It's also a quick trip into Watkins Glen. The place itself was quirky with a fully stocked kitchen and clean bathroom. We saw the owners a few times and they are incredibly friendly and did everything to make our stay enjoyable. Other reviews complained about the beds but we didn't mind them at all. The living space was perfect for our two kids to play.

Beautiful views and endless possibilities

Cozy 2 bedroom flat with beautiful deck and view of the lake. Central location to endless wineries / breweries and close proximity to Watkins Glen make this the perfect destination for a weekend getaway in wine country.

Very convenient

The place was perfect for a small group with a beautiful view of Seneca lake. Very close to many wineries and breweries. Manny the owner very responsive with any questions. We all really enjoyed our stay!

Unplug and unwind

My husband, two teenagers, and I spent the weekend here while visiting nearby family. We brought our dog and enjoyed playing games late into the evening. This rental was great even for a very cold winter weekend and Manny responded to my questions within minutes as I prepared for the trip.

Very comfortable stay.

Manny was very helpful with directions and checking on us upon arrival. This property is a great location-very convenient to all things happening on Seneca Lake. And then there is the view from the back deck which was stunning . The property has all the basics and suited our needs perfectly. It is clean and comfortable. We would stay here again.

Beautiful deck with great location and access to everything

We enjoyed our stay here. The hosts responded quickly with any queries we had. This comfortably sleeps 6 people. The sofa bed is a huge pull out bed which sleeps 2 people. The highlight for us was spending time at the beautiful deck overlooking the lake.

Great getaway

We took a last minute overnight trip to the finger lakes. Our room was very clean and had an amazing deck with a beautiful view of Seneca Lake. Our host Manny was wonderful. We will definitely rent from him again. 5 Stars

Great views, very clean kitchen utensils, nice interior. Owner obviously made a good effort to make it nice. Only improvement suggested is improve front exterior. First impressions are important. Would stay again. 8.5/10 overall

Nice location

This property was very clean. The kitchen was fully stocked if you wanted to cook meals there. Location was great, right next to a winery and distillery, with lots of breweries close by as well. The kitchen does have a little crawl space just as you come in the door. The crawl space was leaning against two screws and the garbage can, so it kept falling throughout the weekend. The kitchen lights kept turning on and off our third night. Which was a little spooky. This location is a shared residence so keep that in mind when booking. We were staying for a bachelorette trip, so knowing there were kids/family we didn't want to be to loud. All in all it worked out well and was a good trip.

Clean rental, friendly host, beautiful lake view

This was our first time in the Finger Lakes and using a rental. The rental was clean-flooring, paint, shower, and appliances all looked brand new. Host was responsive with questions prior and during arrival. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the rental during the day as we were exploring but we ended each night with a perfect sunset view of the lake.

On wine trail, livable, owner was in contact. rustic need of repair, noisy on 55 MPH main road, no a/c, no way get off second floor deck in case fire , but clean inside with towels, linens and kitchen ware.

Clean, great location, dated furnishings/linens

The host, Manny, is extremely helpful and responsive. The apartment is clean and provides plenty of kitchen supplies. We especially enjoyed the beautiful wine glasses. The listing is just across the street from a distillery and winery- walkable. Vinyl flooring is new. Cannot beat the view! Woke up looking over the lake! Other than the flooring, other updates are minimal. Seating, beds, and other furnishings/linens are dated.

Weekend Girls Trip

We stayed at the property for 2 nights. Based on past reviews and owner communication, we knew what to expect, for the most part. It was a nice little apartment, and had a nice view of the lake, which was a huge selling point for us. One major downside for all of us was the comfort level of the mattresses.. (could possibly be fixed with some foam mattress toppers). Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful lake view!!!

We wanted affordable! This was it! We had a great time. I was a wondering with some of the reviews what we would get. The outside was a little rough but don’t let that stop you from coming!!! It is a diamond in the rough. You can see they are doing lots of work on the place and in the meantime we get the benefit of a lower costs to rent. Never judge a book by its cover!!! Thanks for letting us stay!!!

The view!

First time using vrbo, took a small girls trip for the night. The owner of the property was very nice and text with all the information. He even let us drop off our stuff early before we got our car for our wine tour. I would stay here again. You can't beat the view or the price at senca. We wished there was a/c which we knew going there that wasn't an option. Once the sun started going down we just put fans in the window and sliding door and it cooled off. Thank you again!

Nice deck and location

The place is very disappointing to pull up to. Thr parking lot is overgrown with weeds. The inside has been redone and is very nice. The deck is great, the view is amazing. The mattresses are awful. The second night we ended up sleeping on the pullout couch, but that was tough because it got sunlight by 6:00. In summary, we don’t regret being there. The place was very clean and the kitchen area was well stocked. It was tough not being able to sleep well, but that was the only real negative. I’m sure they will continue to improve the outside over time.

Disappointing!!!

We weren’t expecting much and we got MUCH less! We have been staying at VRBO’s for probably 30 years and this was by far the worst we have ever stayed in! Don’t you inspect the places you advertise? This was terrible inside & out! Food left in the refrigerator, cob webs everywhere, no TV, no air conditioning, no wash clothes, dog hair on couch, beds dirty, dirt in ceiling lights, broken screen door on deck door! We are not your typical complainers but this was not acceptable!! Nice deck & view of Seneca Lake but that was about it!! Sorry for venting but we are used to our getting to our VRBO destinations and being totally happy!! We don’t like surprises & this was a surprise!!

Surprise Birthday Weekend

We arrived on June 2nd and we had no problems with the keyless entrey. The heat outside was really hot so when we entered the property we opened all windows and turned on the two fans. The ceiling fan helped a little. The apartment was clean, plenty of towels, blankets, and kitchen supplies. We did have to empty the kitchen garbage and toss some opened items in fridge. As the sun went down the place became cooler and we sat on the porch for hours. The sunset was beautiful as was the view of the lake. The bedroom facing the lake had a full size bed which was very firm. The second bedroom had a 3/4 bed bigger than single but not a double bed. My friend and I brought mattresses and placed them in front of the glass door. We slept like babies. We had a little problem Friday night, so I reached out to the owner and he was able to fix the little problem immediately. We hired a driver and toured the wineries all day Saturday. The apartment remained really cool all day long. When we cooked dinner that night we noticed that the left burner knobs didn’t really sync with one another. The knobs went in opposite directions but we caught that early so we didn’t burn anything. A couple of screens in the window would crack open when the wind blew so we placed a book in front and there were no problems. The shower was glorious. Our favorite parts were the kitchen, deck and the location. Manny was very kind and we enjoyed our getaway immensely. Thank you
