Overall, house was good. We had to go out and buy more toilet paper because there were no spare rolls. Wish there were more bowls for cooking, had to use a strainer as a bowl. But set up worked out well. Back porch had cockroaches and the trash cans are on the side of the house and every morning around 2am some kind of animal would knock these over. but the owner cannot control this.
The place was nice enough but had a few issues. Our bed had a crack in the frame, it didn't affect our sleep but did catch me off guard. The property owner was very accommodating and communicated well. The location looks a little rougher than the pics would imply.
Came down for our yearly trip to the area and found this nice home. Conveniently located and within a 10 minute drive to downtown. The property owner communicated with us without hesitation which makes things run smoothly. If you are coming to the area, I would highly recommend this cute getaway. We will definitely be booking again for the next trip!!
We enjoyed our 3-day stay at this condo. The property is spacious, updated and would be comfortable for a large group. The kitchen was well appointed, the water pressure in the showers was great, beds were comfy, and there was plenty of closet space to unpack and settle in. The neighborhood was safe and in easy walking distance to Freret Street where we found groceries and good restaurants. The owner was responsive to all of my questions. We would stay here again, for sure.
The site detail of distance to get to bourbon street was not accurate. Owner stated that the weeds will be cut it didnt happen till days later. A mattress stayed on the layed on the sidewalk for days. Bed was uncomfortable. Place looked nice but, couches were dirty, area rug, coffee pot. Most of our drivers stated we wre not located in asafe area. I ask the owner to change the code for our safety. It was stated they be there the next day to do so and they never showed up to. Would the use of more washcloths and towel for five adults. I can say it was very spacious. Look of
the inside looked very nice. Also did not information on eating places, stores, recommendations of nite life places to avoid, or places to adventure to. Would have been a plus. I know this my sound negative, but we enjoyed being in New Orleans. Hopfully this helps with improvements.
Initially I was a little worried about the neighborhood. There was definitely a shooting of some sort about a block away on Friday. A friend of mine, that was born and raised in New Orleans, told me specifically “not to go into either of the bars in the neighborhoods because I’m white.” But honestly, there were no problems for me, my girlfriend, or her daughter. I think the neighborhood is in the process of being re-done, and that’s pretty obvious. VERY close to New Orleans proper. We were never more than about 5 minutes from anywhere we were going to, and overall we had a fantastic time. The house was very clean, and very inviting. No problems checking in or out. Wonderful vacation had by all! Thanks for having us
When we first arrived, we were a little concerned with the neighborhood, but everyone around us was great. It was literally a 10 minute drive to everything we wanted. The unit was very clean and great for the price!
The accommodations were just as expected. They were clean, everything was just as advertised. Finding the front door was little tricky, but the neighbors were really friendly and helpful. The parking was little tricky, but we figured it out. The condo was conveniently located close to bourbon street.
We had a family weekend in New Orleans. Address on the door does not match the address. We were told with little confusing first time to get in. Place was nice. Plenty of room.
The Location was great for us up to date unit. Magazine street with restaurants was a mile away. Parking is on the street but we got a spot right in front all the time. Unit was very spacious, with a patio. Grace the host was very responsive with whatever questions we had. However, the box springs on the 2 queen beds were very noisy when you moved around. It is on the first floor with people above, which could be noisy at times with the hardwood floors.
The property was everything and more. It was clean and close to where i needed to be. The only downside was the neighbors upstairs. Loud and somewhat rude.
Everything was really great once we were able to get in. The check in instructions I recieved did not have the correct address so we were really confused standing on the sidewalk with our luggage. Grace responded pretty quickly and gave us the correct information and the rest of our stay was wonderful - comfortable beds, a great A/C (which is necessary in NOLA) and a Keurig coffee maker with pods to use. As far as location, nothing wrong with it, it was just a little further from where I wanted to be which is not the host's fault.

Nice layout but not walking friendly
We chose to use Uber instead of renting a car for our 4 day stay. Every Uber without exception told us that walking during the day might be ok, but that we should NOT walk through the neighborhood at night. One of our guests, a 20 something female said she would not have felt safe staying here with a group of women. We all did love the secure outdoor patio and the layout of the unit. Initially we had a few small issues and the property manager was timely and VERY helpful. We had a wonderful time, we were just sad that we couldn't walk for exercise in the neighborhood or walk to and from downtown.
