Recently retired from a 35-year coaching career as a Big Ten soccer coach, I've been both a full and part-time resident of Ocean City, NJ for those 35 years. I recently bought the property to share with family and friends. As part of the large, loud, and laughing Lenahan Family, the plan is to celebrate as many events as we can here while also sharing the place with all of you to celebrate the special times in your life. I know you will enjoy our home as much as we do. The property is only available on VRBO from October - May. We use an Ocean City rental company for June thru September.
Why they chose this property
When thinking over the design plan, the iconic (and cheesy) song "On the Way to Cape May" popped into my head. While I love Ocean City, the whole South Jersey Shore is something each of us has shared and I've spent time in each town. Every bedroom has been professionally decorated with the personality of the town it's named after with the Stone Harbor room being the master and Wildwood/Sea Isle rooms having bunk beds. The Avalon and Cape May rooms are queen beds. The Cape May room can double as an office space.
The 3rd-floor deck (off the Cape May room) has spectacular views and an outdoor refrigerator for enjoying your favorite beverage while looking at sunrises, sunsets, and the lights of the boardwalk that just steps away. A really cool place that will make you feel warm during your stay in OCNJ. Perfect for a week or long weekend getaway.
