Welcome to your perfect beachside getaway! This private one-bedroom apartment offers a cozy and comfortable stay just two blocks from the beach and one block from fantastic restaurants.

Step into the inviting living room, where you’ll find a large sectional couch, a wall-mounted TV, and a pub table with chairs, perfect for dining or catching up on work. The kitchenette includes a coffee maker, microwave, toaster, and mini fridge—please note that there is no stove.

The spacious bedroom features a king bed and a dresser, ensuring a restful stay. A twin bed can be offered for a child upon request. Please notify me before arrival.
Outside, enjoy your own private back patio, complete with a patio table, chairs, and rocking chairs, all set beneath a beautiful canopy of live oaks and Spanish moss—a perfect spot to relax with your morning coffee or evening drink.

*This property features two private guest spaces. The Peachtree Retreat upstairs unit includes its own private entrance and a spacious front porch. The Peachtree Apartment has a separate private path leading to the entrance and includes full access to the backyard.

With the village and pier area just a short bike ride away, you’ll have easy access to more restaurants, great shopping, and scenic waterfront walks. Whether you’re here for a peaceful retreat or to explore all the local hotspots, you won’t find a better location!


-We love our pets and welcome dogs in our home! To ensure a comfortable stay for all guests, we kindly ask you to follow our pet rules.

Only small to medium dogs are allowed. Maximum of one pet per stay. 50 pounds or less.

Pets must be house trained and well behaved. No excessive barking or scratching.

Pets are not allowed on furniture or beds.

Pets must be created when left alone in the home.

Guest must clean up after their pets waste with bags provided.

Pets must be leashed outside the unit and follow all local pet regulations.

By booking guest acknowledge full responsibility for their pet's behavior and any damage caused during their stay. Great Location

Apartment was clean and it was in great proximity to the beach (walking). Only issue is parking if the house is being rented at the same time but it worked out. Overall, I would highly recommend. Was spotless and very cozy.

Great weekend!

Catherine's place was great, the location is unbeatable. Spacious master bedroom with a Very comfortable bed, and the living room area has a nice kitchenette. Don't forget the patio, perfect perfect for relaxing or enjoying your morning coffee. We walked almost everywhere from the beach behind the King & Prince, to several great restaurants and just a little farther (or a simple bike ride) to downtown, well worth it!! Catherine responds super quickly to if you have any questions.

Great Getaway!

This is a great place for the weekend or even the week. The inside is exactly as listed and pictured. It’s almost better than the pictures. Catherine was super accommodating and very responsive. I would definitely recommend!

Peaceful Getaway

I booked this rental for a work trip. I found it to be just what I wanted, a clean, spacious and quite relaxing experience. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet. I found it most enjoyable to walk daily to my training at the King and Prince. The bed and sofa were very comfortable. I would definitely rent again.

Close to the beach

Overall this was a beautiful property that was very clean and close to the beach. The only reason we didn't give this 5 stars was the noise. This property is below another and the noise was nearly constant from early in the morning to late at night above us.

Great location on St Simon Island

This property is perfect walking distance to the beach, about 2 blocks, very easy walk. We took our bikes, and I must say it was the perfect way to experience the island. Traffic in the pier area can be tough, but with the bikes, it was so simple, and just about a 5-10 minute ride. We always took a different route just to look at all the beautiful coastal homes on the island. Aside from our meandering bike tours of St Simon, our added highlights were visiting Jekyll Island and Driftwood Beach.

Wonderful Experience!

From start to finish, this was a wonderful experience! The property is very attractive, clean, comfortable, and spacious, and is within walking/biking distance of several great restaurants, the beach, and Massengale Park. Communication with the host was top-notch! She responded very quickly to all messages and was very helpful each time. If you are looking for a quiet retreat, you should definitely consider this property.

Perfect Location!

The property was beautiful, clean, and exactly as advertised. The only suggestion I have is that there be an apartment size refrigerator. It was challenging for us as we were there for a week to only have a mini fridge. We knew ahead of time that that’s what it was so we used our cooler.

Fall break vacation

My sister and I stayed in this wonderful unit for a long weekend. It was perfect - clean, nice decor, and the owners were great to work with. What we liked best was the 2 block walk to the beach and a 5-10 bike ride to Pier Village. The King and Prince was also a short walk and a great place to get a drink in the evening and sit by the water. The owners had popcorn, bottled water, and coffee which we made use of while we watched a movie in the evening. The beach chairs were great as well as the outdoor space. We plan on booking again next fall!

Great Location - Noisy at Times

The listing was accurate, it’s a small apartment but adequate. Everything was very clean and the backyard was pleasant. Easy close walk to the beach. The upstairs neighbors were quiet the first two days then a large group moved in and were very noisy, disturbing us. In addition, the next door neighbors porch was close so we could hear them clearly. We never got the TV to work in our 4 day stay. The apartment would benefit from a small desk and some bedroom chairs.

Great Cozy Stay

The unit is very cozy, modern and convenient. The bedding, living room furniture and bathroom are very high end with very nice and modern touches. The unit is quiet, cozy & very charming. The location is very convenient to the Village & Massengale beach access. We will definitely stay here again. Very nice place for a romantic getaway or for just relaxing. The unit is downstairs so if someone is upstairs, you may here occasional footsteps or activity. Note: it didn’t bother us at all. Owner was great at communication & was very helpful. Highly recommended!!!!!

Best on the island for two!

We had a wonderful babymoon here. The host was extremely accommodating and quick to address any need we had, which was only one, as everything else was already taken care of. Response time was quick, and our stay went off without another hitch. The property is a very easy walk to the beach. I was 28 weeks pregnant and we just wagoned our things to the beach. It was a breeze! We also road bikes into town and back each night from dinner. It was very nice and we’d love to look at renting the upstairs property next if we can find the listing for it with the same hosts. We would absolutely rent from them again in a heart beat.

Small package, nice content

Easy to access, as advertised is close to beaches, restaurants, coffee and pastry shops. Host was attentive to questions I had and offered good solutions. They were spot on regarding limitations and benefits. I would like to see more seating out doors to enjoy the climate. The back of the building, our entrance covered with leaves and droppings from the huge trees. Maybe it is fruitless to pick them up, but made it less inviting to sit out there. Would certainly recommend this cottage

Wonderful Stay

My husband and I stayed here for 10 days earlier in July. It was a wonderful experience. The rental unit itself is as comfy and cozy as any we have rented in the past. It is beautifully decorated and very clean. It is a basement rental, but it feels very private and we couldn’t tell people were renting the house above us unless we were coming in or leaving. We used the Myrtle Street beach access, which is maybe a 5 minute walk and a wonderful beach area… not as crowded as other public beach accesses. We loved being able to walk to Fiddlers, Crab Trap, and Barrier Island Brewing, to name a few of the great restaurants around. The owner is super sweet and great to work with. We would definitely rent this unit again.
